Thyme in Islington

Repeating our accommodation experience, the product was good, let down by poor management & staff. Sausages, bacon and croissants were fantastic. But we had to wait for seating, tables to be cleaned and there were no mugs/cups for self serve tea/coffee

Staff serving breakfasts and light evening meal very helpful and pleasant, always smiling and happy to help

Food not bad the menu is fairly limited but food generally ok steaks on the thin side but acceptable

Typical average hotel food, not horrible/not great. Breakfast was ok to. Paid for a full English breakfast to discover it's not freshly cooked, just your standard buffet fair and could had by just paying for the continental - no-one would have known or cared.

Taste is a personal thing. I just struggled to find anything on the menu that I would like. Given the location of this hotel - surrounded by hundreds of restaurants of every cuisine and budget, it didn't work for me. But maybe that is just me. I love everything else about the hotel - including the breakfasts they serve in the same restaurant

actually not that bad. Having travelled to London late in the day I wasn't keen to venture out into Angel to find food so I took a table in the newly refurbished Thyme restaurant. The menu is standard across the brand but it was a pleasant and enjoyable meal. The meal deal included breakfast too so that was a bargain. The place probably suffers from old brand association but don't be put off. Whilst the local area around Angel has lots of other places to eat, if you do arrive tired then this is an okay place to eat.

Dreadful food , straight out of the freezer to the microwave Even the salad that they did not have to do very much with was also ver poor indeed However the service was good but did not make up for terrible food

Arrived in late with 2 kids. Got reasonable food served by friendly staff in pleasant surroundings. Excellent value and minimal fuss can't say better than that.

Mi è piaciuto tutto, ma proprio tutto. Cucina veramente ottima! Interessante anche il deal che un certo menù della sera include anche la colazione per la mattina dopo.
