New owners. Hiked prices. Door open in all weathers because kitchen extractors not working - this has been going on for weeks. I have been coming here for years. No more.

A fine little shop for a small lunch and coffee. I stopped in on a rainy day for a donut and coffee. Nice and warm and decent quality food :)

Solo llegó a 4. 50.

Not sure how you can make such a mess of scrambled eggs with bacon, but Temple Bar nailed it! As usual I didn't want toast, but young lady serving today insisted that I paid for it anyway. It's a rule apparently? Hasn't been for two years at least but today it's a rule! Life's too short so move on. Bacon was inedible as so over cooked that it shattered when touched with a fork and eggs came floating in so much water that I had to drain it into a saucer. Poor effort and lousy attitude. Disappointing.

First of all, there were flies buzzing around the cafe, near the food, which is always off-putting but as they weren't actually on the food I decided to ignore it. I ordered my coffee in a take away cup and they brought it to me in a mug so I had to send it back to be decanted. I also asked for a bacon croissant. They put it on the grill then forgot about it so it burned. They then put a cheese and ham croissant in there and rushed it as my order had been delayed so the cheese didn't melt. It was the sort of cheese that isn't a very nice texture so it really needs to be melted. So my order was late, I was given the wrong thing and it didn't taste nice. I had chosen the cafe by the station as I was in a rush and did not have time to explain to them what was wrong as the two people in the queue before me had struggled to communicate and they didn't seem to hear my order properly either. Also, even in central London, I think £5.70 is excessive for a coffee and a croissant and I regularly buy lunch in the area so I am accustomed to the prices of their competitors. I had visited the cafe once before to buy a snack and the over priced donut I bought was stale.

I went there with my family and friend. I order jacket potato with bollosese and soon after discover mould on the potato. I can’t describe how terrible that was. I shared that meet with my two year old son. When I show them what I discover They offer me money back then and angry to chef come out from the kitchen And ask what’s happened. When she explain to him what’s happened he just walked away to the kitchen.Whole place I was I would describe as a very dodgy dirty with no hygienic a tall place in city centre London. they should be closed as soon as possible For the hygiene problem . So please be aware of this place better is Pay little bit more and have saved food. Please see pictures!!!!!!!!!!

Just went in to grab a tea for takeaway but didn't end up staying because the woman behind the counter was so rude. I asked for a hot tea, she shook her head like she didn't know what I wanted, I repeated myself and she said very sarcastically "you mean tea?" Yes....she asked "sugar?" I said "yes please" and she looked at me like I was stupid with wide eyes while circling her head around like a bird and asked very aggressively how many??" I told her nevermind and left. I wouldn't give this place any of my money.

There are far better caffs than this, but if it's a cheap cuppa and a bacon butty you're after, then it fits the bill in a no-frills kind of way.

Having gone there in November and been really impressed I arranged a get together with my colleagues for breakfast just before Christmas. Unfortunately when we arrived we were told that there was no chef but we could have pre-prepared sausage/bacon/egg baps. They were not heated properly and barely edible, the service was incredibly slow and the coffee was barely luke warm. I understand that the chef was not there but there's no excuse for the poor food and service from the staff that were there. Next time if you don't have a chef close it down or train your other staff better!

I paid £5.20 for a weak Americano and a bacon sandwich with day-old reheated over bacon. I only realised the awful quality when I got back to the office. I have had their ciabatta sandwiches here a couple of times over the years (I work close by) and although they are average and expensive, they couldn't reach really poor levels of this morning's breakfast!

Typical sports bar, young profile and good for large groups meeting but many other more atmospheric bars around depending on what you are looking for. Rating of poor for me, but know if you want to watch a match that's probably higher for some

It would be easy to pass by, but it would be wrong to do so.The "English" breakfast, in spite of the usual American add-ons of baked beans and faux hash browns, is good, and eating it would obviate the need for lunch! Fluffy scrambled eggs are available. The lunch menu is quite heavily Italian-orientated, but is none the worse for that; while the sandwich menu shows some interesting and thought-out combinations (samples on display) which I, for one,cam keen to try on future visitsGood value for money!

Amazing array of quick snacks with stunning imagination.Who would have thought of bacon and egg in a giant croissant or giant bagel ? Had a toasted open sub with cheese melt and meaty bits with peppers. This plus a mug of Americano with hot milk was £7.15 all in.For the location, sound value.

Avoid like the plague! Horrible place. Came in for a sandwich and two cups of tea which set us back a mere nine pounds. Not only did that seem like daylight robbery but it was disgusting. Got an egg mayo baguette:Egg - tickMayo - mysteriously absentBaguette - stale, so stale it left my mouth feeling torn upGiven that a roll was 1.80 I have no idea why the price jumped to 5 pounds for a stale baguette,Also they added milk to the tea which I really didn't want, I only take a tiny drop and was disgusted with this weak, milky slop. So I can't stress it enough; the place was horrible and I left feeling robbed and angry with myself. And looking at the other reviews I can't help but notice that the picture of a hot chocolate in a five star review here has clearly been taken from the staff side of the counter. Just saying...

This is a genuine cafe serving good coffee, cakes and open sandwiches. If you find yourself on the embankment or want relief from the busy Strand then search out this place. It does not look up to much from the outside but it is reasonably priced and seems to be family run. Good also for a quick drink after coming out of the Underground also.

What an absolute gem of a place this coffee shop is. Drove to Harrow to have my car fixed and found this little oasis while I waited. Beautiful frothy hot chocolate, a vegetarian breakfast and a slice of homemade jaffa cake were all equally delicious. Lovely friendly staff and a very clean WC. Highly recommended 👌
