Every week, after my weekly grocery shopping at a farmers market I come to daylesford organic for a cup of coffee with a croissant. Every week I get surprised that it’s always busy in this cafe with people having breakfast or pastries with coffee. Anyways, it’s been about 20 minutes since I’ve been given a table and the waiter who already knows me hasn’t even brought me a menu, not even getting started on taking an order. Great place, but don’t think a cafe and especially service here isn’t their strong side. Recommend to get a takeaway instead - better service and nicer people.

The lady server was friendly and the weather was nice which helped to enjoy sitting outside . 2 women on the table before ours who were loud and wouldn’t stop talking were interrupting us from enjoying the scenery , other than that it’s just a regular place not worth the prices they demand .

My husband and I had lunch upstairs in the cafe on a Tuesday and were looking forward to our visit after a great experience at the original Daylesford. We ordered the whipped feta, extra fougasse, crab linguine and 3 salads. Despite perfectly friendly service, the food was incredibly disappointing - worst of all was the overcooked pasta and dry fougasse. Unfortunately, I would not recommend this branch for a meal.

Had my husband used the gentleman’s cloakroom facilities at the beginning of our visit to Daylesford, Pimlico High Road, we wouldn’t have stayed to eat. “Disgusting” was his description, and he rarely makes negative comments, it’s me that usually does that. Having visited the Marlyebone branch previously we were expecting a similar good experience, unfortunately that was not the case. Sticky table for starters, never a good sign can’t help but wonder is it clean? Both our coffee and hot chocolate were served lukewarm warm, have to say though our prawn and avocado cocktails were fine, although not easy to eat from a drinking glass with full size dinner knife and fork! Our request for both sugar for the coffee and butter for the good sourdough bread was met with both being rammed onto the corner of our table with as much finesse as serving tea in a JCB bucket. Service was with noticeable indifference, the floor manager, when not loudly conducting business on his mobile phone, was engaged chatting with other staff totally uninterested in proceedings across the restaurant floor. Very disappointing experience.

The store manager was rude and gave me some most unhelpful/dangerous advice re their product. I asked if Burrata they were selling is pasteurised. Linda (?) started explaining in a high-pitched voice and very condescending and rude manner that its a non question since burrata is cooked at 90degrees. This is wrong, it doesnt mean the product is pasteurised in a conventional way and for certain conditions consuming it would be dangerous. Unprofessional. I really love Daylesford and have been going here often so I am very disappointed when they cannot remedy an issue that I have addressed multiple times. I order from here often and it happened so often that my food was spilled because of their poor packaging. I have called them multiple times to remedy this but today when I ordered, they still used the same packaging that spills. The bag broke probably because of the moisture from the hot food. I am very unhappy, this is a waste of my money, my time, and of food and it’s disappointing when a business repeatedly ignores their customers.

This is actually a review of the Daylesford cafe on Pimlico Road in London, NOT the Farm Cafe. My wife and I visited today for breakfast. We were seated rapidly in the first floor area and ordered 2 coconut milk cappuccinos, porridge (me) and 2 poached eggs on sourdough toast with ham (my wife). The coffees arrived quickly but on tasting, we realized they had been made with dairy milk. We requested they be changed upon which we were told that they don't serve coconut milk but could offer almond, oat and (I think from memory) soy. We ordered almond. then the food arrived. My porridge was OK, marred only by a teaspoonful of stringy and acidic clementine goo and a tiny container of sawdust-like 'granola'. The eggs were tiny and the yolks were hardboiled and a delicate pale yellow. Nothing to do with the big, organic, cotswoldy, dark golden yolks from hens who roam freely in the fields of Oxfordshire that the Bamford brand bangs on about. The replacement coffees, by the way, were, we think oat and tasted like washing up water. When we complained to one of the wait persons, they apologized profusely. But that was it. Even when we explained the coffee fiasco, there was no offer to remove them from the bill. A really unpleasant, cack-handed breakfast for only £39

My wife and I called in with our 2 year old granddaughter. We really only wanted to grab a coffee, juice and snack. We’ve been past many times as daughter and granddaughter live nearby. After a quick look inside we took a table outside on the pavement. There’s a nice range of produce on show but at very high prices. Place was clean including the lavatories. The waiter I first saw seemed to be just messing with the till near the door. We sat and waited but no service. No one came. Eventually I went back inside and found a waitress near the door. I asked her for a menu - she seemed surprised or put out but said she would bring some over. Eventually she did. We asked if there was anything for kids - No apparently. Menu was uninspiring and overpriced. She didn’t come back so we just got up and walked away!

I should have read the reviews first. Slow, massively overpriced and empty - for a reason. I do not leave poor reviews often, but I have to here. We came in to the Pimlico store at 8.30 am on a Thursday morning for a coffee and croissant for breakfast. There were bar stools by the window, but it turns out that this means we had to order through a (perfectly friendly) waiter whilst the "to go" section we had approached first was empty. Our coffee and croissant / pain au chcoloat took over 15 minutes to arrive from upstairs, and then only when we chased. The coffee was good (or it would have been one star) and the pastries OK. Luckily I was seated when the £22 bill arrived. Rediculeous. This place is a rip off for people who enjoy knowing they are being over charged for average goods. As I said, it was empty at what should be a busy time. I know why. Avoid.

I recently visited the shop and was impressed by the vast variety of tasty options. However, I must express my dissatisfaction with their "Too Good to Go" experience. This service, which used to be a highlight, has recently declined in quality. The process that once felt smooth and efficient has become cumbersome and inconsistent. This aspect is crucial for many customers, including myself, and has always been a significant mark of the store. Despite the incredible variety of food and generally pleasant atmosphere, I cannot overlook the drop in standards concerning the "Too Good to Go" experience. This was a return visit. The food itself and the layout was good, however, it was the service that caused problems. In the process of ordering the waitress did not repeat the order back and seemed determined to go before we had ordered accompanying drinks. My meal arrived after some time with only one of the two salads. I had to physically get out of my seat and approach a staff member to report this, a situation which I was told would be corrected. Had I not eaten slowly I would have finished before it finally arrived. Not too impressive. I can't remember if service charge was added to the bill as a matter of course; if it was it would have added insult to injury. Upon leaving we sought to use the lavatory..... which was out of order! No golden milk, no matcha (both officially on the menu), no vegan hot breakfast. Not going with the times it seems.

The waiter took my order of tea and scones....a mgr came back very intensely telling me that they were out of scones...so I ended up with a not very fresh bakewell tart

Nice place, A friendly server. Seemingly complicated kitchen. Anything we asked for couldn’t be done, asked for spinach answer came back don’t have enough, asked for two poached eggs as extra, said can’t do it lunchtime only for breakfast. Asked for smoothie with almond or soya or oat milk, any other than cow’s milk, can’t make it because all is pre-made. Didn’t sound very fresh! Order the Kefir, they ran out… My grilled chicken came on top of a dressing soaked unedible salad, left it on the plate, the (nice) waitress took my plate and cleared it straight into the bin - you’d think she would let the chef see a plate full of food being returned, he probably thinks everyone loves the food. This place has a simple menu, should be easy to prepare and present. It needs a soul and care… Having stopped coming because of the previous rude service, which has fortunately changed. This place needs someone to take charge and the kitchen to relax a bit and become customer friendly. It’s a casual cafe after all. Will try it again in a while…

Came here for very welcome cup of tea after visiting the Chelsea flower show. Good selection of teas but sadly most of the cakes were unavailable as they were very busy because of the show. Staff were very friendly.

Este es un espacio increíblemente grande (aunque una vez que creo que la iglesia encima, es bastante obvio que se puede meter un café y un restaurante de aquí).
