The best restaurants serving British food in London

Really beautiful pup and staff very friendly however the London pride was not at its best and there was lots of fruit flies but definitely worth a go and I would go back and give the beer another go

La etapa puerta es un pequeño pub perfecto que es fácil perderse ya que es una manzana completa de Waterloo Road. Mi esposa y yo nos quedamos en el Hampton by Hilton Waterloo y no podía creer lo cerca este pub estaba al hotel; literalmente a un minuto a pie desde el vestíbulo. Habíamos leído que el pub se llena temprano, así que llegamos antes de la seis, y todavía teníamos que sentarse en el bar, como todas las mesas estaban llenos (estaba lloviendo, así que la zona de jardín de la azotea estaba disponible). Nos dieron las bebidas ... yo tenía una pinta de una sidra de excelente Addlestone en de barril ... y vimos que una pequeña mesa estaba siendo desocupado, así que nos señaló la camarera y nos trasladamos a la mesa. El personal alegre nunca perdimos nada, para conseguir nuestra orden de cena con nosotros en nuestra nueva ubicación y mantener nuestras bebidas rellenados. Mi mujer pidió el especial que era una ilusión excepcional de carne. En realidad, ambos pedí la especial, pero que le dieron el último, y que sustituía un excelente hamburguesa con queso Cheddar. Una vez más, este es un pub popular, y los especiales ir rápidamente, así que intenta no coma demasiado tarde en la noche. Seguimos por la comida con un delicioso brownie con helado. Así que, si te encuentras en Waterloo o estás viendo un juego en el Old Vic, prueba La Stage Door. Está lleno de una razón.

Been before and still a great restaurant with excellent food and service.

The pub is nice, service is very good, the atmosphere great, and the food & drink menu impressive. Too bad the food (soufflé, salmon, desserts) is bland and unremarkable. Overpriced for what it is.

The menu did no show and GF, vegetarian options the waitress had to put little crosses against what my wife could eat. The lighting was so poor that the couple next to us had to use the torch own their phones to read the menu. Just very overpriced, even charging over £7 for a bottle of still or sparkling water, beef wellington for 2 people for £120!

Lovely spot for a Sunday roast and a drink in the pub downstairs.

I recently visited No29 at Battersea , and unfortunately, my experience wasn’t great. The cocktails were a major disappointment— lacking in flavor, none of them had the balance or finesse I was hoping for. On top of that, the service was subpar. I didn’t try the food but it looks very nice. The staff seemed distracted, and it took way longer than expected to get our drinks, even though the place wasn’t particularly busy. Overall, I left feeling underwhelmed, and I’m not sure I’ll be returning anytime soon.

Lovely place, spacious and comfortable seats, service was great and fast. I had the Large Breakfast and Latte for like £9 which was great value and the breakfast was pretty good

Ordered takeaway via Deliveroo and paid £13.60 for a pak choi dish with just 2 small pak choi. For the price, the portion is shockingly small—Waitrose and M&S sell 4 pak choi for under £4. Poor value for money, very disappointing.

Extremely strong fishy smell in the restaurant, we did not stay. Collici royal park cafes can be very good, but not today. Maybe complacent because there is a constant stream of tourists?

Visiting London for the weekend, called in here for a drink. It was pretty busy but we managed to get a table. Decided to order food and decided on a sharing platter for 2 - consisted of four small pies, potatoes and veg. Cost £39.50 and although for a ‘northerner’ this was a bit on the expensive side, it’s about average what you pay in London! Food and service were good. Nice atmosphere in the pub and a lovely place ..

Tanya was an incredible waitress. Service was really good as much as food. We had a really good lunch with all the Kids. Highly recommended!
