The best restaurants serving British food in London

Unbelievably rude staff. After waiting at the side of the counter for about ten minutes for a coffee, I went to see what had happened to it. There were two staff members dancing away. With the manager walking by without a care in the world. I asked the poor girl at the till if it was on its way, at which point one of the dancers got really stroppy and made me the coffee. She then made a show of taking it all around back to the other side of the counter in some kind of pathetic attempt at punishing me for daring to disturb her dance practice. The manager was standing by staring at me with a smirk on her face in solidarity with her friend leaving the girl at the counter squirming with embarrassment. Apart from the girl at the counter, the staff are simply ignorant and unpleasant people. I was the only costumer but clearly I was asking way too much of them when I asked for a coffee. Don’t bother with this place, go to the hut next to the stage in the park. They are always lovely there.

Exceptionally well priced drinks on a Friday night. Good atmosphere inside, and all staff were working ridiculously hard indeed.

Great service. Especially Morgan. Food is amazing and drinks always served with a smile. Morgan was fab for the entire night!!

Invité a mi amigo al trato de Shepherd Neame 241 margarita. Nuestro servidor se llamaba Justina y ella era tan amable y acogedor. She made excellent Margaritas. Esta fue la primera experiencia de mi amiga de este cóctel y le encantó tanto que quería comprar otro. Justina la animó a inscribirse en Shepherd Neame, para que pudiéramos conseguir otras 241. Así que gran servicio al cliente y genial para la cervecería. También pudimos charlar con el gerente Alessia, que también era muy amable. También me habló de la organización benéfica que Shepherd Neame actualmente apoya, que es la ambulancia aérea Kent / Surrey. Una gran causa y un pub encantador con mucho espacio, así que visita.

Vine aquí como un grupo de 10. Todo el personal era amable y servicial. El servicio era bueno, pero no apresurado. ritmo El menú es pequeño pero la comida era muy agradable. Terrible atención al cliente, muy grosero y agresivo. El barman cometió un error y trató de culparnos - muy extraño, nunca he experimentado nada parecido. La comida también es deficiente y yo estaría muy preocupado por la higiene de la cocina. Parece que no se ha limpiado en años. Si hay otro pub cerca de ti, ve allí.

Visited the Cathedral then went for a coffee. Busy cafe with food out on the counter. It all looked very nice. We just had coffees which were excellent. Seating inside and out.

A very disappointing experience. I would strongly advise NOT going here for a Sunday roast. - We had to wait 45 for our order to be taken. - the Diet Coke tasted of nothing, how do you get Coke wrong? - The food was average at best. The Roast potato's were probably the worst I’ve ever had, tasteless and rubbery. The beef was badly over cooked and very chewy. Not satisfied at with my experience.

4 cervezas todo un poco estándar y ni una cerveza de Navidad. Fui por una cerveza de trabajo. Estuvo bien. Pretendo fijar un 5 libras. 50 objetivo para ales hoy. Ya he estado cerca de eso, pero este era de £ 6. 10 . No es aterrador, pero está cerca de restaurantes de tiendas elegantes. Un buen borracho que todavía piensa que Ales es una buena idea. Otro pub que piensa que es divertido publicar un cartel de precios de bebidas muy antiguo en el bar. Realmente no es divertido en estos días 😬

Mi pareja y yo pasamos por Regent's Park Café casi a diario en nuestro paseo de perros. Siempre es un placer ver a Kavita por la mañana; ella recuerda nuestra orden de café sin falta, y es súper acogedor, que es encantador, ya que suele ser mi primera interacción del día!

La comida es agradable y bien presentado El servicio es bueno y atento Pero siento que era un poco caro para las porciones, como dije, sabrosas pero pequeñas porciones

We went on a Friday and were seated by a girl who was serving nearby tables. Drinks were delayed for 20 minutes. A second person brought us the drinks by when we were very hungry and desperate to order (8 pm). A third person took our order and left. Came back 3 times saying items were no longer available. We reordered and waited 40 minutes by when we got up and paid for our drinks. This third member of staff also left (end of their shift). To the shame of the staff they didn’t even think to give us free drinks as a na apology. We left hungry. The food was being brought in to our table the moment we were leaving the pub. Ridiculously overpriced, understaffed (?) and poor service. We live locally, have been going there for the past 4 years and seen it deteriorate. Never going back again for food there.

Just the best best place in central London !!!! Angela - the Italian lady at the Liberty Arthur Café truly made our visit unforgettable. Her care, attention, and warm welcome created such a special experience. She went above and beyond to make us feel at home, and her radiant smile was the highlight of our time there. We can’t wait to return, not just for the café but to see Angela again!

Very disappointed with the pub this evening!! Food not that great!! No water on the bar as before! No game machines!! Had to send our food back due to it being cold!!
