Not great , lovely looking place, however a restaurant that doesn't do lunch & dinners. Breakfast only.

Nice atmosphere, I chose the fish & chips, what a tasty dish! My friends chose the Tanner Classic Burger, delicious too.

Lovely place,love food and staff was great. Barbara was amazing,friendly and very polite. Barbara made sure we had everything we needed. We will be back soon x

What an amazing place! Beautiful surroundings and delicious food. The luxury afternoon tea was a lovely birthday surprise. The service was excellent. Erica looked after us during our lunch. Great place! We would definitely return soon.

Had a lovely full English here! Black pudding was to die for, and eggs were fab! The staff were lovely and child friendly, and covid restrictions were very well kept! Over a felt very safe whilst enjoying a fab meal with lovely staff.

Me encanta High Road Brasserie. Era mi cumpleaños y el personal encantador lo hizo especial. La comida era excelente como siempre. Tenía parfait de hígado de pollo para empezar y filete para mi plato principal (era mi cumpleaños) Me sorprendió con unas deliciosas trufas junto con mi postre.

Title: A Disgrace to British Hospitality – Avoid at All Costs I don't write reviews often, but the New Armouries Café practically begged for it with how catastrophically bad it was. This place is a masterclass in how not to run a café. Overpriced, underwhelming, and a disgrace to British hospitality — I wouldn’t feed this food to a stray dog. Let’s start with the salmon bagel. It was a limp, sad excuse for a meal. The bread was chewy like rubber, the salmon tasted like it had been defrosted in a microwave two days ago, and the whole thing reeked of neglect. There was no freshness, no flavor, and absolutely no care in preparation. Calling it a “bagel” is borderline fraud. Now the Swedish meatballs — I have no idea what country these were supposed to represent, but it wasn’t Sweden. These things were dry, gritty, and tasted like they were scooped out of a school cafeteria trash bin and reheated. The sauce was an unidentifiable, salt-loaded sludge that clung to everything like wallpaper paste. Horrific. And the service? Utterly indifferent. Tables were filthy, trays were stacked high with leftovers no one had cleared, and staff seemed to be in a permanent state of annoyance. You could ask for cutlery and be met with a sigh like you'd just ruined their day. For a café inside one of the UK’s most iconic landmarks, this is beyond embarrassing. It’s a tourist trap, plain and simple. High prices for food that wouldn’t even pass at a motorway service station. Shame on whoever manages this place. Save your money. Save your dignity. Eat literally anywhere else. Hell, I’d take a soggy supermarket sandwich in the rain over setting foot in this overpriced disaster again!

Lovely lunch in the Albion today! The food was delicious and really good value. Very friendly service and the pub looks amazing after its makeover. Great for families, would definitely recommend!

Most of the review here tell the same story, all bark no bite. The setting is pleasant, staff are nice enough but the food is bang average & doesn't represent good value in my opinion. There are likely better options locally. I'm told pre-refit it was better? Buttermilk chicken was a redeeming factor but really only took this place from a 2 to a 3 star job.

Tuve una experiencia maravillosa ayer comiendo y bebiendo cosas finas en The Punchbowl. En primer lugar, qué lugar tan épico, me dijeron por el GM que acaban de tener una amplia renovación en todo y se nota. El edificio solía ser propiedad de Madonna y Guy Ritchie, ¡qué guay! Empezamos los procedimientos con Aperol todo el tiempo y estaban listos. A veces se diluyen demasiado para mí, pero Sonia detrás de la barra no se mete. Lo mismo puede decirse de ella Hugo’s Para la comida tuvimos una variedad variada de entrantes, soy un succionador de una alita de pollo y su variedad de búfalos eran tan buenos. Teníamos pescado & patatas fritas, masa estaba crujiente y pescado muy bien cocinado. Las patatas fritas estaban crujientes y suaves en el medio. El músculo principal tenía que ser la mejilla de buey y el pastel de médula. Sabor absolutamente impresionante, muy profundo y rico. Y la carne estaba tierna. El barman estaba con una nueva receta y jugando con los sabores de albahaca, nos permitió probar un gin gimlet que aún no estaba en el menú, lo que sugiere que siempre se esfuerzan por traer cosas nuevas a la mesa. En general una excelente visita, el servicio y la comida eran difíciles de fallar Realmente es un lugar tan inusual, que abarca 3 plantas con comedor elegante y comedor privado en la planta superior, la planta inferior tiene ambientes de pub del casco antiguo y es íntimo y acogedor. We visited this pub as a part of our initial exploration of the area surrounding our hotel. Lovely interior and ambiance, very friendly (though somewhat young and with a lack of an experienced managers supervision) waitstaff and delicious food with a wide variety of both meaty and vegan options. A wide range of beers/lagers on tap, wide variety of spirits and delicious sodas. The interior is beautiful and all in all it has a welcoming vibe, even for a foreigner. The pub comes with a beautiful garden with little booths for four, all with heaters that you as the customer can turn on or off as you wish. Positivity aside, it was quite pricey and only about half of the drinks menu displayed prices. The price of a coffee? If you have to ask, you can't afford it. No raised eyebrows or weird stares either, which as a gay couple we can always appreciate. All in all, good experience, we'd visit again.

Fuimos a este pub después del Palladium, estaba ocupado cuando entramos y el servicio fue rápido. Buen ambiente, pero llamaron a los últimos pedidos y en el momento en que conseguimos nuestras bebidas un hombre de la puerta nos dio vasos de plástico y esperaba que servimos nuestras bebidas caras y beber fuera en el frío helado, no hay asientos en las puertas así que levántate y beber nuestras bebidas, la mía era Guinness así que me negué y desafortunadamente tuve que dejarlo atrás. No deberían servirnos bebidas y luego echarnos. No es buena atención al cliente.
