The best restaurants serving British food in London

La primera comida en Londres es siempre pescado y patatas fritas. Este pub estaba a una cuadra de nuestro hotel, y había oído cosas buenas sobre él. No me decepcionó. Pedí patatas fritas y un par de pintas. El pescado se lava bien - cocinado, crujiente, sabroso. Las fichas se hicieron perfectamente. La salsa tártara también tenía un buen enredo. Perfectamente encantadora comida. Muy recomendable.

Tuve una experiencia increíblemente decepcionante en The Pelican. Como alguien con enfermedad celíaca, le dejé claro a la camarera que requiero una comida completamente gluten - comida gratis sin riesgo de contaminación cruzada -. Sin embargo, me sirvieron un plato con crutones, gluten real, no solo trazas. Solo me di cuenta después de unos bocados y cuestioné el plato. La gerente de piso dijo que estaba "99% segura" de que estaba libre de gluten, lo que es inaceptable cuando se trata de una afección médica grave. Más tarde confirmó que contenía gluten. Si esto hubiera sido una alergia potencialmente mortal, el resultado podría haber sido catastrófico. Aún más preocupante, no había un protocolo adecuado para manejar esto. El restaurante no tomó mis datos o seguimiento, en su lugar me dio su información de contacto y me dejó la responsabilidad. Para un restaurante de esta reputación, esto es completamente inadecuado. Aunque evité síntomas graves, incluso pequeñas cantidades de gluten causan daño a largo plazo con la enfermedad celíaca. Este fracaso en la seguridad alimentaria me ha dejado ansioso y decepcionado. Si tiene restricciones dietéticas, le aconsejo encarecidamente que no coma aquí.

Really beautiful pup and staff very friendly however the London pride was not at its best and there was lots of fruit flies but definitely worth a go and I would go back and give the beer another go

Good beers, but smells a bit off and the vegan toastie wasn’t great. Felt a bit short changed when it said coconut bacon but was actually just shards of coconut with cheese. Bit strange.

Siamo andati a visitare Londra e come zona dove trovare l'hotel abbiamo scelto Hammersmith.Oltre ad essere una zona ricca di pub e ristorantini e anche molto viva.Volevamo mangiare tipicamente inglese e quindi abbiamo provato qualche pub.Il BLUE ANCHOR è quello che ci ha accolto con più calore.Direttamente sulle sponde del Tamigi, il pub si sviluppa su due piani, al piano terra il classico pub inglese, al piano superiore una bellissima sala con vista sul fiume.Tavolo per 8 (4 adulti e 4 bambini) serviti dal un proprietario caloroso ed molto ben disposto ... non sono purtroppo tutti cosi.Abbiamo mangiato bene e speso il giusto.Lo consiglio, se siete in tanti ed inizia il we è meglio prenotare.

Fantastic first class service by the manager Michael and our server Augusta on Friday evening, April 25. Delicious appetizers, drinks and the duck and waffle entree that we all enjoyed! The views and sunset were amazing. Special thanks for wonderful hospitality by Michael!

Nice pub for a drink right next to Liverpool St station so very convenient.

Siamo andati a cena in questo posto e siamo rimasti molto soddisfatti. Il pub è davvero tipico e ha un bel giardino interno. Il cibo davvero squisito. Autentico british!

It is a great food market and a very alternative atmosphere.

The Torch was one of our nominated venues for our trip to Wembley Stadium (Nottingham Forest) Despite several attempts to prebook a meal … declined … unable to fulfil your request On arrival we were informed that indeed no food would be served , but they had no objection to you bringing in your own food. Prices were increased by around 20%. On the plus side…. A great day out the place was bursting with our fans and a great time was had by all

I wouldn’t recommend this place. It looks like a nice place to grab a bite after a long walk. However, it wasn’t as nice as it looks. We had a sticky table, dirty glass and waited for a pretty simple order 30+ minutes.

Very clean rooms nice area and food is good It was a bit expensive compared to the others in the same area but definitely a nice place and friendly staff
