I’m a regular here and the experience is still good overall but the food is really declining. When it first opened as the Rushmere the food was excellent- good choice and quality. However the menu choices have got thinner and thinner and the quality has really gone down. Recently I had a burger that was gristly and unpleasant, and my partner had fish and chips with a pretty mean portion of chips. Reeks of cost savings but customers and reputation suffer.

Absolutely amazing place. Food was excellent,fresh,hot and flavorsome. Drinks were served to perfection with all the correct trimmings which is a rare occurrence nowadays. Daly and Karen were the best hosts ever. Just wish I lived nearer to make it my local. Any locals reading this get yourselves in there as it's brilliant

The staff were attentive and friendly, they created a friendly atmosphere, which contributed to a lovely meal. The food was fantastic. We look forward to another visit soon.

Can't rate this place highly enough. We have been here on a number of occasions now- sometimes with large family gatherings for Sunday lunch, and the last two occasions to watch the Euros. The food and service has always been exceptional. My daughter is celiac and they have always gone out of their way to accommodate her. Of course, the pub was packed during the England games, and even then, the waiters went out of their way to make sure everyone was accommodated, and there was no wait for food or drinks. The best pub in Wimbledon in my opinion!

Currently not a place to visit in Wimbledon, considering all the other fantastic choices close by. The front of house staff are slow and the services is poor, the food is below bog-standard and the kitchen staff do not seem to be able to cope....

Recibí una llamada un par de días antes para confirmar y explicar las nuevas restricciones de Covid.Cuando llegué, había una pareja mayor adelante en la cola que estaban discutiendo sobre las restricciones y el uso de máscaras requeridas y quedé realmente impresionado por la joven que se mantuvo firme mientras era muy educada. Es tranquilizador en general cuando las instalaciones garantizan que se siguen las normas para la seguridad de todos.La comida en sí era realmente agradable y servida por un personal muy sonriente que estaba feliz de asegurarse de que tuviéramos todo lo que necesitábamos.¡También debería dar puntos extra por ser amigable con los perros!

Apareció aquí con los labios de una cálida tarde de domingo cuando el pueblo estaba bastante lleno.Le preguntamos al tipo que era el anfitrión si tenían espacio exterior sin haber reservado y nos dio la opción de dos mesas. Fue muy amable y afable y nos hizo sentir cómodos desde el primer momento.Existía la opción de pedir desde la aplicación, pero las cervezas locales y Malibu no estaban allí, así que pedimos en el bar. Quizás una pequeña crítica a la aplicación, pero creo que es una cosa más amplia de Greene King que un problema aquí. Con suerte, tienen un acuerdo para las bebidas que no están en la aplicación, ahora el servicio de mesa es obligatorio.La cerveza de Wimbledon Gold era genial y el jardín era ideal para una tarde soleada y muy floral. Good venue in which to watch football, and in particular, Spurs’ demolition of Southampton, albeit, the number of goals scored by THFC, should have been double figures. Good outside space, with large umbrellas. Prices are reasonable, service was good and staff decent.

Superb afternoon and early evening - lovely to catch up with Wimbledon locals Ms Charly S, Steve C and the likes of Ben B and Chris Bucksey. Staff were polite and efficient. Nice to sit outside under great umbrellas despite the rain.

He visitado el Swan un par de veces durante las últimas semanas y me ha impresionado mucho su configuración y manejo de los requisitos de distanciamiento social, lo mejor de algunos pubs que he visitado recientemente. Las mesas están bien espaciadas, la comida y las bebidas se entregan en una mesa cercana separada donde puede recoger y dejar sus platos y vasos usados. Genial para mantener esa distancia social. El servicio fue bueno y la comida agradable. Una buena experiencia en general y espero volver de nuevo la próxima semana.

Visitamos un miércoles por la noche. La bienvenida fue bien organizada y amable. Estaba ocupado afuera, así que nos sentamos adentro, donde había mucho espacio. El pedido en la aplicación fue muy eficiente. Teníamos alas que estaban geniales, crujientes con mucha salsa de Frank. También tuvimos una hamburguesa que estaba bien cocinada y sabrosa. El servicio fue amigable y eficiente. En general, una comida muy buena.

Ya no recomendaría este pub a pesar de haber estado allí durante muchos años. Hay una camarera de bar llamada Georgia que trabaja allí y no tiene idea de cómo tratar a los clientes. Hemos estado yendo a este pub durante años y anoche me sorprendió por completo.Paramos para tomar un trago rápido, pedí un Peroni y mi compañero pidió un jugo de tomate Big Tom.Mi Peroni fue genial, sin problemas y lo estaba disfrutando, mi compañero dijo que el jugo de tomate sabía mal y algo no estaba bien. Fui a The Swan en Wimbledon Village para tomar unas cervezas y almorzar los domingos. Todo estuvo bien organizado. Un amistoso encuentro y saludo por parte del Gerente y su personal. Una buena selección de cervezas y comida fantástica. Nada fue demasiado y mi primera experiencia con The Swan definitivamente no será la última. Sin duda recomendaría este pub a mi familia y amigos. Un momento desafiante para todos nosotros en este momento, pero este fue un domingo brillante y definitivamente regresaré, ¡asumiendo que me acepten! !Tony L.

My friend and I had beers and food. Staff were polite and well organised. Food was good but portion sizes just a tad short. Prices are in keeping with the area. This is a lovely pub in a great location. I hope its regulars return soon!. Thanks.

Over priced basic food & drinks and terrible reception when watching the football - as if they don’t have a licence!

Turned up to this pleasant pub after a healthy walk. On first impression the pub was extremely quiet at lunchtime on a Sunday. Grabbed a readily available table in the bar and went to order some drinks. The bar was covered by a solitary member of staff who was struggling to cope with not an awful lot!So sought out another member of staff to ascertain how one went about ordering food etc, only to be told that (today) food could only be served in the dinning area. Said area was half full, but I was informed by the server that all the other tables were booked. On inspection this did seem the case although a couple weren’t booked until the evening. There next ensued a comical conversation between our potential server & the one other member of staff on view (3 in total)..........Long story short, The Swan on this Sunday was not really open to provide any sort of good customer experience (as happened) and dramatically needs to improve on it’s readiness to cope with walk in business. On a positive note I’ve been to this pub on many evenings and have found the staff extremely courteous & more importantly - in attendance!So I suggest you just avoid The Swan on Sundays.

Met up with some old friends and thought we'd give a quiz night to go. We headed to The Swan after seeing their Instagram posts about having a pub quiz on a Wednesday. It was great fun! Great quiz master and a fun interactive quiz. The pub was great too. Great range of drinks on offer and food was delicious too. We all had a burger - either the beef burger or chicken. There were four clean plates by the end of the meal! Staff were great, very attentive and working hard to keep the standard of the pub up. There was a great atmosphere to the pub. As I am a local to the village, I was pleasantly surprised to see how much the pub has changed over the last few months. It is just what the village needs - an independent feel as the village is overpowered by corporate pubs. Would highly recommend and will definitely be coming back to enjoy the pub on other nights. Will also be doing the pub quiz again soon!

Wednesdays are my favourite day... especially when you can get 20 wings for under £12.50. And they aren’t those little half wings, they are crispy full wings, you can have different sauces but I love the IPA bbq sauce! Visited the Swan now a couple of times and try and always come Wednesdays! Drinks are fairly pricey but unfortunately that’s to be expected in Wimbledon, you’ll only get cheaper if you go to a weatherspoons! If you go in between 4 and 6, it’s happy hour, get your moneys worth! Pub was all lovely and Christmassy when we popped in yesterday, will be back over the festive season.

After getting out of work a little bit earlier than expected, my partner and I decided to meet for a late Friday lunch. We headed to The Swan and loved every minute of it. We ordered some of the sharer bits - a particular highlight was the chicken and halloumi tray! The atmosphere in the pub was great and we didn't really want to leave but we had to get home. We felt very comfortable. There is a definite independent vibe to this pub and it is surprising to see the Greene King sign hanging on the top of the swing sign. Would highly recommend this place!

Oo entering the Swan there was a number of people scattered around the front bar we seated ourselves at the back of the pub not quite good ambience cold and stagnant I went to the bar where you order your food and drink at the same time there was one barmaid who was trying her best I ordered the sharing starter Nachos £10-99 1 jacks burger £12-99 1 buttermilk Chicken burger £11-99 total £35-97 and 1 small Diet Coke and medium Sauvignon blanc total bill £46-76 so £10-79 for a small Diet Coke and a medium wine ok it’s Wimbledon they have running costs fine take it like a man Homie ! Waited 45 mins for nachos , in the end I had to ask them had they forgotten my our starter ? Two minutes later they arrived a big wooden board grease proof paper a big splodge of gunk yeah gunk On a board is that a word I don’t know but I like it , just everything on these nachos except the one most important basic ingredient CHEESE out of ten 3 at bestBurgers arrived and two large stacked burgers with a tight crisp brioche bunmy chicken burger big stack chicken bland tasteless and everything around it just to much slop same as the beef burger nice charcoal taste but not seasoned again to much going on And then there’s the frozen chips in the little iron buckets sooo cute , but there’s a big problem with small frozen chips , if you have the temperature to high in the fryer or you leave them to long they become crunchy oil sticks chips should be slightly crunchy with potatoe in the middle these where soulless excuses of bad frying what a shame who ever is overseeing the chef etc They are just crap standard just turning up dishing the lower bog standard food For such a magnificent pub in an unbelievable area this was just no way good enough 3-10 won’t go back !!

Otro lugar inesperado para tomar café Y me aseguraron que son amigables con los perros por dentro y por fuera. Bit of a boozer pub, where people go to watch sport. Ordered 2 burgers, one with no garnish (spring onions, miso and chilli peppers), took 50 minutes to come and arrived with all the garnish. Dry burger, uncooked fries.

No es fácil encontrar un restaurante abierto los domingos por la noche. Fuimos al Swan porque era uno de los únicos que estaban abiertos cerca, pero no nos decepcionó. Teníamos el domingo cordero asado y fue muy bueno. ¡Me alegré de que tuvieran Guinness de barril! Un ambiente agradable, con un amable personal de camareros, aunque usted ordena en el bar y luego lo entregan en su mesa, lo cual no sabíamos al principio, así que nos sentamos por un rato antes de que lo descubriéramos. Aún así, es un ganador.

Vine aquí por una recomendación de un geezer. Top geezer es. Lager es crujiente y frío. Aperol spritz (para los muchachos) con aderezo adecuado y proporciones correctas. Bueno. So, my son and I watched the Manchester United/Chelsea in the PUBLIC house, The Swan. Busy bar as normal due to lack of staff more interested sweeping ice up than serving. To compound matters no premium lager on just serving Wimbledon Gold. Due to the fixed debit card readers I had to move along the bar and brushed an elderly gentleman as I did who sits with a lady called Alison at the high table adjacent to the bar. This resulted in unnecessary expletive language from the old boy. I would be grateful If a representative from The Swan could let me know why this couple have this table permanently reserved in a PUBLIC bar. This is a failing establishment that needs to understand that times have changed and you cant rely on a handful of locals to keep the place afloat especially with rent increases. AVOID AT ALL COST

This large L-shaped building has an attractive exterior, with harmoniously spaced windows and an 18th or 19th century appearance. Inside, any character of the original building has been disguised by what was no doubt an expensive refurbishment, in order to create the kind of pub interior that is two a penny nowadays. Abattoir tiling behind the bar, tongue-and-groove boarding surrounding the structural pillars, an assortment of furniture, and horrible harsh lighting with no shades, despite the fact the pub is blessed with plenty of natural light from large windows.

The Swan is a great pub it has a friendly atmosphere & is great winter or summer.. The staff are very happy and accommodating.. Leighton the manager is always friendly also Alex & Brandon great friendly bar staff!!..I would highly recommend this pub..

We were looking forward to a nice relaxing Sunday afternoon pub lunch with our two kids (family of four) today. Just as we got to order at the till the barman informed us that the kitchen has had an unexpected changeover and that they will not take any orders for 20 minutes. This was at 14.30. We then placed the order at 15.00 and the food only arrived at 15.45! However, the delay was clearly not worth the wait! We had ordered lamb roast but they had run out of Yorkshire pudding, the chicken burgers had a fillet similar in size to two fish fingers and the fish and chips had, at best, 15 chips. We felt thoroughly let down but given how hungry everyone was, we did not complain and had our meal. Disappointing experience and we've decided to stay away for a while at least.

Un pequeño pub tan encantador con un delicioso pescado y papas fritas y el mejor brownie que he tenido: -) Lo recomiendo altamente con el helado de menta, pero mi amigo que cambió a la crema de vainilla y crema de hielo también estaba muy contento. Mención especial a nuestra maravillosa camarera Alex, que era muy graciosa.

Been to the Swan many times and its a great little pub, especially in the summer when the beer garden is in full use. Great place to watch a game. Usual pub grub on offer and is normally very good.

Went for a meal and drink after church. Great sitting area in and outside. Delicious food. Great service. Left something behind and they are kindly keeping for me to collect this weekend. I look forward to going back.

This pub has a good outside space, but it is not well maintained. Each table has a pot plant on it, each plant is completely dead. There are cigarette buts on the floor, and rubbish in the flower beds. The pub was not at all busy when we were there, so no excuses for this poor management.

Really lovely, staff great, food is lovely according to the other have. Sadly no gluten free option, they were really honest about poss cross contamination, being coeliac really appreciated. Lucky most gin is GF ha ha. The bar is immaculate with local beers. Massive outside space. Go on give it a go.

El personal de la recepción es excelente. Sin embargo, después de una hora de esperar 3 asados del domingo, mi marido llegaron patatas menos! Cuando no llega, el chef hubieran sido avergonzada de poner en el plato. Buen trabajo, tenemos un sentido del humor! Nunca he conocido a mi marido antes de dejar la comida, pero él no podía comer la carne. La Yorkshire budines fueron horribles. Fantastic pub. looks amazing, very well presented and welcoming. The bar staff were very kind and friendly, were willing to go the extra mile to give good service to customers and i saw that all around the pub. the food was very well prepared! they offer a good twist on classic pub food. lovely outdoor area, very big. over all i had a lovely time here and will defiantly be coming back.

Ordered the 'Big fish and chips', and 3 other meals, received 4 chips, some peas semi crushed with a fork, and a piece of fish the size of a goujon as the big fish! On questioning this, we were told they don't have many people order the big, so they had charged us for the big and served the standard. They then bought us a balance to pay for the additional things the standard one lacked! To further compound the experience, we were told we would not be served anymore. Obviously reporting anything to a member of staff is perceived as rude to them, and the staff distinctly lack any form of customer service or experience in hospitality to be barred because we were polite but firm is there way of burying their head in the sand. Don't bother eating there! Doesn't even deserve the 1 rating - it's worse than Terrible!

We live near the Swan and for several years we have enjoyed excellent food. No more. Having ordered basic fish and chips after an interminable wait, a luke warm anaemic half fillet of grey dry tasteless fish entombed in soggy batter was served. Chips numbered six, after complaining the were marginally increased, but were dry and powdery. My friend ordered the burger, a sweet white bun in which a small grey lump of meat coated in processed cheese arrived with a few stringy French fries. No garnish apart from on scrap of lettuce leaf clinging forlornly to the filling.Two friends ordered the pie's, previously these were home made, now clearly not so and were at best OK, vegetable serving was one small piece of brocolli & one bit of cauliflower.Overall dreadful we shall not be retuning as we were embarrassed in front of our friends. Add to this wines on list not available and having asked for baked beans, told sharply we don't serve them. My advice, if you want food, Wimbledon has far far better to offer. Total cost for this offering, £66 include half of cider and three small glasses of wine..

Very nice place to meet and have a few drinks. However it is best to avoid eating here as the food and in particular the salads are below average.

We arrived there on a Sunday to find out our booked table of 8 had been taken by people who had walked off the street. When we got there, we were told the menu had been cut because of the tennis but were not pre warned about this! This is not good customer service. We all ordered beef roast dinner and lamb. Went to the bar to order to be told they had run out of lamb so everyone had to have beef. When the food arrived a few of our dinners were missing roast potatoes and stuffing balls! I can honestly say they must have all been cooked from frozen. I would not recommend! I did it most of it as was hungry. The decor inside is the only nice bit. Good selection of beer but rubbish selection of cider. Would probably not return, but if I did wouldn't eat.

Went for Sunday Lunch, the place was not too full, but should have been worried when waited quite a long time to be served for a drink. Ordered one meal for my son and was told that would have to wait half an hour (which was fine as he was 20 minutes away). Then went to order food for rest of party and was told that the wait was 1 hour!!. Now I can understand some wait, but the place was not even close to being full, I dread to think what the waiting time would be then. Also the menu on the website was totally different to that available, so that items that we had told children they could choose, were not there at all. Menu significantly reduced in items and variety. So whilst the place is much brighter, there clearly needs to be major improvements in this place...

I was very surprised when I asked about the drinks menu. I was informed that there was not one until June. Also when asked a member of staff. There was only one behind the bar on the wall that you couldn't see!!So how do I know what they're charging me!!A lot of people were buying drinks they could be ripped off. Not knowing how much everything is!Is is a legal requirement that a up to date price list for your drinks should be on display for you to see at all times!

We enjoy the new changes, menu and drinks. This is our local and a definite improvement from before, more well lit and welcoming.

I visited the Swan with my brother for a quick catch up. Decided to eat and we both had Burgers (delicious). The atmosphere was really relaxed, the staff were very friendly and helpful - it was so comfortable we ended up staying a couple of hours!Great pub, good food, nice decor and friendly welcome - I really recommend a visit there.

We could not get into any other pubs in Wimbledon and thought we would give this a try. Never again, and I can understand why we were able to get a table here rather than anywhere else, its reputation obviously precedes it. The waitresses were rude and could not tell us what wine was available when we asked - why cant there be a wine list?There were 7 of us and the restaurant was not busy, no others eating by the time we got there. The first three meals came out and were finished before the rest of the food arrived and when it did arrive it was cold. Staff showed no remorse or apology for this.When it came to paying the bill we chose not to add gratuity, but we were questioned as to why and the waitress looked incredulous that we were not going to add it. Service charge is discretionary and staff should know this basic fact. I explained my reasons and she did not show any sign of empathy or understanding - appearing very rude.In a city with so many amazing places to eat, why would we consider going here again? There really needs to be a massive improvement at this pub.

My friends and I went to the Swan on a Wednesday night after we had exercise in the nearby fitness center.On first impression the pub was really nicely decorated, clean floors, loads of tables with area for the bar drinkers and area for diners.We had 4 different meals that arrived together. My steak and Ale pie was delicious and the boys liked their Swan Burgers. However, the skinny fries were normal fries so might as well change it. We weren't disappointing as we are not that pity but just FYI.The food could have been prepared quicker as we waited about 30,40 min but it was 4 different meals and they did come at once. However, we were the only one eating..Staff were friendly enough and prices were good for Wimbledon Village. For two main meals (portions are very big) and a bear I paid £25.

With great gastro pubs in the area The Swan has to really up their game. Food cold and very poor quality (processed school dinner), service slow and tried to compensate with uncomfortable friendliness, verging on flirting.

The pub has been refurbished quite nicely as it was long overdue .The menu has been extended since the first few weeks of reopening and it is really nice food .We went with family and friends and our dog too- very nice relaxed atmosphere and stuff quite friendly .Lots of space both inside and outside , which gives it an advantage over the other pubs by the Common

The historic old pub has been renovated to look like an inner city hipster bar.Horrible and not in keeping with the area.Far too bright and shiny metal outdoor furniture rather than wood.Beer is still the same though.

Went to the Swan for the first time since its revamp, really impressed with the interior, looks so much better than before. Went mid afternoon so it was quiet. Food is fairly standard pub grub but was well presented and arrived in reasonable time. I forgot to pay my bill and went home, I called to apologise and returned to settle up the following day and they were very polite about it. It does get very very busy if there's a big football game on but outside of those occasions is a decent pub.

I made a reservation for 3 people earlier in the week to watch the football and have lunch. Issues with this place which nearly every single customer also experienced today there:1. Staff that have absolutely no idea how to greet customers or even know their table layouts.2. When I said to the "manager" that the table they reserved for us could not fit 3 adults and there are only 2 chairs, her response was "for gods sake just go and pull up a third chair".3. The kitchen is ill prepared. Had to wait 1.5 hrs for our food order to be served. Was told 1hr in that it would be coming shortly to no avail.4. Busy football day and only 2 staff working behind the counter and 1 person clearing tables serving food. And one of the bar staff was a very junior gent who had zero knowledge of serving and knowing what drinks they had on offer. When asked by one customer if they had lemon lime and bitters, his response was "don't know" and stood looking like a deer in headlights when the customer responded with "well you either do or you don't have it". Turns out they do have it.5. When querying for our food order 1hr and 20 mins in, I was offered a drink so as to remove focus on asking about the food. By this time I had already had to wait behind customers who were very aggravated and we're getting refunds because their hour plus waiting for food did not eventuate.6. The food came out in 2 lots, again the young bar gent had 2 of our dishes and was taking it to a variety of tables as he had no idea the table numbering.7. The food quality was diabolical.8. I was then asked when paying if I wanted to leave a tip???????? Yes that would be:A. Don't ever abuse your customers and tell them to just pull up a seat.B. Don't allow customers to order food full well knowing that they will have a 2+ hour wait.C. On a busy game day, don't under staff.first time I have ever been here and definitely the last, and after today with the amount of customers voicing their opinions and getting refunds, I think a lot of prospective customers were lost.

Such a shame, first visit since the place has been done with my young son to watch the Manchester derby. First problem we ran into was no system behind the bar and customers moaning about being over looked when ordering. Second issue, the staff couldn't be bothered or had the time to clear the cluttered tables. The third and overall concern was ordering a simple pulled pork sandwich with chips which I did with 10 minutes on the clock of the first half. Unfortunately by the time Wayne, Ibrahimovic and the rest of the gang had finished their slices of orange and return for the second half there was still no sign of our order. Whilst asking for a refund at the bar some chap had a similar problem although he order before the start of the game!!!!!!!!! Disappointed and still hungry having returned home, please address the issues ASAP as customers will not put up with this poor service

We stumbled across The Swan on the way home trying to avoid Wimbledon High Street. We sat outside as such a lovely evening, there were a few tables available even though a Friday. We decided to eat as the menu a typical pub grub one and extremely reasonably priced . We both chose pies which came with mash and vegetables. The food took a bit longer than we had expected to arrive but was surprisingly worth waiting for, great portion size and the pies were full of filling. An unexpectedly good experience and we intend to return for Sunday lunch.

Great value for money, including table waiting service! Would recommend any of the Sunday Roasts or burgers.

I've been going in here for nearly twenty years. This used to be a smart pub, really neat and always with very good service. Not any more, it really seems to have gone way down hill over the past year.It's starting to look unkept outside and the service on my last couple of visits has been terrible. I went in for a quiet jar this evening,26-06-16 and I have to say I've rarely seen such surly staff. They seemed to make a virtue of being unfriendly and unhelpful, it's why I've put pen to paper here. I saw one lady who'd asked a young barman a question and he mumbled something in response as he passed by her by, without even casting her a glance not to mention stopping. I would fire him then and there. The young lady who served me was little better. I have their names if the manager wishes to get in touch.Such a pity, used to be lovely, it clearly has some management issues. You're better off popping over to the lovely Hand in Hand about five minutes away.

Draws a crowd on match days, pub food. Large outside sitting area, pleasant local pub. Good drinking place.

The Swan has been one of my 'locals' for around 35 years and it remains a solid old style pub a world away from the generic All Bar Ones etc. It's a pub people, i've never eaten there as eat at restaurants, i drink there and very much enjoy the place. I believe Olly Reed lived near there in the 60s and would doubtless have frequented there even though it wasn't part of the Wimbledon 8 as far as i know.

This is quite a nice large pub on the Ridgway with an outside area which is popular in the summer and with hardy smokers in all seasons. The food is a bit overpriced for a pub I think but generally looks pretty ok when it comes out, not that I have eaten here recently myself. Service at the bar can be lamentably slow but the drinks are pretty good if you do manage to get served. Not least, they have a doubles deal for £1.50 extra which is pretty good value and way better than what you will be charged in other pubs around the neighbourhood for a double. They also show a lot of live sport - mainly football.

Under new management but not a lot has changed. Staff interaction could be friendlier and more engaging. No coffee as the machine was broken, again!

Always one of my favourite places over the last 20 years and glad to see it hasn't changed much. Great beer pies and a nice garden but watch your kids by the road.

Nice place to have a pint and a burger, not very expensive. Nice pub with a fab vib. Not to many people when we went, staff where very friendly.

Recently had a chance to visit The Swan pub. Honestly, such a chilled out atmosphere and good vibes all around the place. It was brought to my attention that there was a new management taking over and, blimey, couldn't be more happy to see the changes. Very friendly and chatty staff! Quick service and the cold beer tasted better than ever. Not to mention the lovely area around the pub. Can't wait to come back in summer time!

Very poor service. Actually... rubish service delivered by a young blonde lady who after ignoring my presence at the bar for a long few minutes, got the wrong order and made me feel that I had to beg for her pardon (apart of doing faces with another colleague beside her while serving the right order). The pub is tired inside (gents places outside on a blue cabinet) as well as its furniture. We always wanted to come inside this pub (very inviting from the outside) but will do never again.

Today, went back to the swan for the first time in a while after hearing it's under new management. I can say that I noticed various changes straight away, staff friendly and was greeted in a polite manor. The beers was cold and very refreshing, we order one of their platters after little help from the member of staff as we was unsure which one to choose. When we got the food it was hot, as expected as well as on a hot plate. It was very tasty with a lot of variety. I'd definitely go back with friends and enjoy a proper meal
