The best restaurants serving British food in London

Food was bland & disappointing. I took my boyfriend there for his birthday. But by the end of it, I was apologizing. It was sad. You'd expect something good out of a restaurant that's part of a 4 star hotel but this is was a mistake.

Llamé para tomar una copa sólo como ir al otro lado de la carretera a un restaurante. Estaba interesado en ir después de haber leído la historia y ser un lugar donde George Orwell bebió, como alguien de Wigan esto me interesó. En cuanto al interior me decepcionó un poco ya que pensé que sería más elaborado.

Fuimos con un grupo de pescado pre-ordenado con verduras, vino en forma de curry que odio, puso excusas de que había patatas en el curry? El asado era como una porción de niño y el desierto que creíamos que era manzana era manzana y mora todo calentado en un microondas. El cóctel de gambas era de risa. Una hoja de lechuga aprox. diez pequeños langostinos insípidos con pan. Sin salsa María. Lo peor que he probado y si no me lo hubieran comprado me lo habrían devuelto. La hamburguesa se veía mejor. El pastel de chocolate era pequeño. No tiene buena relación calidad-precio. Decepcionante por decir lo menos. La última vez que comí allí, el pescado con papas fritas nadaba en grasa. Bonito lugar, pero la comida necesita mirar o estará desperdiciando su dinero. Es testimonio de un lugar donde cuando llegas a casa necesitas comer algo.

Poor customer service. Miserable staff. Left waiting no acknowledgement that I was even there. Left without getting anything. Just go elsewhere

Comida fantástica, personal muy servicial y un gran ambiente. Todo el mundo era atento y servicial. Compartir platos era genial y buena relación calidad-precio. ¡Muchas gracias!

Atmosphere was perfect mixed with great customer service and a friendly environment. Food was hot and presentation was very good. Super happy with my visit and looking forward to return!!!!!

Absolutely wonderful place. Bank holiday Saturday, walked straight in, no queue, air conditioned, clean, perfect sandwich/cake and tea. Honestly, I would have happily paid more! Why go anywhere else??

Very low quality food. Both dishes we ordered were dry and stogey, and probably microwaved before served. Very unlike food you would expect at a vegetarian Indian restraunt.

Very good apart from the loud local ladies shouting without any filters. Though luckily enough every 10 minutes they needed to vape. Then the pub was silent for 3 mins. Beer good price! Bar staff great. Beer great too. Just a shame there was not lots of custom.
