We pop in at The George for the football this past Sunday and we had a blast! What an amazing atmosphere!! We end up staying till close! Amazing food , great speed of service and the staff was great, only smiles and enjoying looking after everyone. Looking forward for Saturday as me and my friends decided to go and watch the England game!

My local pub of choice, great live music and even better staff and drinks! Came in just for a couple but ended up enjoying ourselves and staying until they closed

Great place to hang around with friends, decent food and great range of drinks, numerous tv’s to watch sports, shuffle boards and amazing staff. Definitely the place to go and they also brought the entertainment back on several occasions.

My friends and me went to watch the football. We always went to cabbage patch but we choose to change. And what a change! We went there just to have few pints and watch the football but we discover the menu, perfect for a sport bar, and we had to have a dinner. They have an amazing garden at the back with a Bar! It was impressive. The staff were very friendly, TJ, Tilly and Madalina (I am assuming I am writing the names properly). It was a perfect night and from now on we will choose the george first!. Me and my friends decided to try The roast this past Sunday here and what a lovely surprise! The roast was absolutely delicious! They have numerous TVs,they have darts and shuffle tables. The young brunete behind the bar was very friendly! We Will definetly return here!

Went there last Friday with a bunch of friends for social night out in the garden. The staff who was working in the garden that night was extremely nice and we all really liked him. Plus the live rugby match just added to the already great atmosphere. Already planned on coming back again this Friday and hope to have the same experience. What a place!

The George is amazing for a night out with friends for drinks and the food is delicious! I’ve recently had so many lovely trips there for food and a pint and the staff who work on shift are always very friendly and helpful! I 100% recommend a visit to the George if you’re in Twickenham.

I popped into the George for some food and some drinks. We ended up staying longer because the food and drinks were very enjoyable. The staff members were so lovely and helpful and made us feel very welcome. We will be returning to one of our new favourites!

It was a lovely experience. Booked a outside table for 12-15 people and we couldn’t have asked for a better server on the outside bar. His name was Danny. The other workers inside were just as lovely called TJ and madalina. Such a good night!

We visit the George often (family with a child). It has been recently refurbished - very clean and comfortable, with clean toilet. We liked the food - very tasty and very big portion. We always order the mixed grill. Good sports entertainment. Friendly staff. We really like the George.

Este es uno de los muchos pubs en Twickenham que voy. Tuve una excelente comida última noche en el lanzamiento de su nuevo menú. El día desayuno atrajo mi lujoso y mi amigo tenía el queso y tocino Burger. Un tercer amigo aparezca y ella había comido pero tenía un plato de entramado patatas fritas, simplemente porque ama. Servicio muy rápido y la comida era abundante y deliciosa.

It's a very good student pub. Lots of St. Mary's students come here and it's great on the weekend when they have a DJ. Cheap drinks and good food.

Cheap, friendly but definitely not gastro pub. Plenty of Tvs to watch any sport. Staff nice, general absence of middle class customers.

Stopped off for a drink and thoroughly enjoyed it. I particularly enjoyed the outside rear garden area - as you can let the grandkids let of steam and not upset the customers inside.

I took the mexican wrap deal with chips and a free beer. It cost £5. You can go down the road and pay the same for an ale. Or visit a TESCO and get much the same for the same price, but you will be eating out on the street, without service. But at the George, there are private stables with televisions parked in every direction, full of sport, clean toilets and service with a smile.On that basis, it is a very good place indeed. Go there, unless it is your wedding anniversary or some special date.

My wife and I ate here, the pub itself was ok but we has to wait a long time for our food to arrive and when it did it was stone cold! They rappeced the meals with hot ones and have us a drink to compensate but even the second meals took a long time to arrive. The food was average but filled a hole.

This used to be mad in the evenings of the weekend. Now in a much quieter part of it's life. Food is trying to make a come back along with a few real ales. Good luck.
