A good mix of alcohol and friendly helpful staff, but the food is just Microwave and poor in flavour. Don't eat there if you have taste buds.

Probably the most expensive and quietest weatherspoons I’ve ever been to. £12.78 for a pint of San Miguel and a pint of Punk IPA. No wonder the place was empty. And both served in plastic cups! Don’t know if this is the norm. Or maybe the plastic cups were because of the rugby being on. But the inflated prices, I’m not so sure.

Like any other spoons I guess, but slightly more expensive than most and slightly more knobheads.

Go elsewhere for matchday breakfast, bacon was pure fat, food was stone cold, and we were forced to have vegan butter on soggy cold toast

The bar service is abysmal but the food and service though ordering on the app is fine. The curries are 2🌶️ milder than advertised.

Great all rounder as Spoons always are. Great value for money. However food can be hit and miss - chicken and bacon salad can be great or awful. Today in Twickenham it was awful, tough chicken and bacon, no dressing. Overall I'm happy though.

Most of the empty tables had not been cleared or wiped , so I was forced to sit with old glasses. I ordered with the app, but after 20 minutes my drink had not arrived. I complained about the lack of my drink at the bar, but was told it would be another 10 minutes before they could get around to serving me. I asked for a refund so they summoned the manager. The manager sauntered over to me a couple of minutes later and arranged the refund, but he didn't seem at all bothered about the poor service. It was a Monday night and the pub was only about half full. The manager should ensure that there are sufficient staff on, or if they are struggling to cope he should help out with serving customers, or clearing tables. Not impressed.

It is way better Wetherspoon than other sites. Airy place, more space between tables, and the whole atmosphere is nicer.

I visited this place today 22/03/2024 around 14:25 and I ordered the American cheeseburger which should of course come with cheese! I told the lady on shift who said she was the main manager and the one in charge. When I told her about the cheese missing she said we already explained the order at the bar (which she did not) and was being really rude. All I said to her was as a manager you should be speaking nicely and not with that attitude. I ordered 3 sol’s before at the bar and all because I said to her she needs to drop her attitude as she is the manager, she took 2 bottles of my sols from my table and said I want you to finish your food and get out? Why? Because I was not white? I felt really racially attacked by her actions and she did not even refund the 2 sol’s she just took of my table (please check the camera around 14:25 on 22/03/2024. I will be taking this matter to court and filing a suit against her as I felt racially attacked and she treated me like dirt. I have attached a video and you can see how her attitude was. This is very upsetting for me and ruined my experience. Never going to visit again the worst lady I have ever met

It's good for a quick meal with my partner before collecting my son from his club.

Service was good, atmosphere also good but the food was almost cold! We don’t like to complain, as you never know what you’ll get back so we ate what we could but won’t be eating here again. One side of the burger was burnt, the other side barely cooked, peas were cold and inedible, mixed grill tasted ok but was luke warm. Not one item on our plate was hot!!! God help them if food critics were to visit and rate….?!

It's ok for a Wetherspoons, but a pint of a particular Twickenham real ale is £2.74, when the identical one in Hounslow is £1.99 🤔🤔. Not particularly bothered, but it's a noticeable difference for being in a different postcode 🤔😉🍺

Zak is a very polite and friendly barman. I have been to this friendly bar for years upon years. Very happy to see the staff (changing understandable) be so polite and welcoming. Kudos to Zak and his colleague for being great guys today.

Decent JDW but not good for ciders, often seems to have sold out of the good ones.

it's very dark when you walk in there it's hard to find a place to sit down to eat we had one of the last four the food was warm but a little overdone it was only fish and chips

Extremely busy as England home game at Twickenham. Ordered food, came surprisingly quickly. Food and drink table service ordered by app all came fast.

Usually WS are ok, came this morning quite exhausted already and been served muffin with avocado on top, I don't know who does but some rookie chef loaded it with spicy onions and tomatoes, tasted more like an evening snack with a beer than breakfast. Really annoyed and tired cant bother to argue. Next time just make sure you specify that you ordering breakfast than “ what chef feels like” food.

Great value for us elderly ones, Last pint of Doombar was £1.49 a pint !!!! and very good it was, and the wife's medium glass of Merlot was £2.99, Whats not to like.

Ok Witherspoon's. No draught Sauvignon Blanc. Poor signposting. Coffee machine hard to find, easy to ask. Guessed toilets were upstairs sign was virtually illegible

A great place to have hot food and a glass of beer before going to watch a rugby game. Atmosphere is great and I reckon this perhaps the best Wetherspoon pub in the whole of the London area.

The Webb Ellis was very busy....(well, what Wetherspoons isn't?), but we managed to find a table for four. The service was excellent, plenty of ale choices and the food was up to the usual high standard. And a good atmosphere.

The only really bad thing was my cocoa... lots of water with a little milk and hardly any chocolate. The breakfast was quite ok.

The.pub is in good condition. Very quiet early afternoon. I had a cheese and ham panini, chips and.drink. You expect to get what you pay for and at a fraction over £6 it was great. It was all hot and tasty. Service with a smile and very prompt. They definitely hit all the right points for a quick and cheap bite.

I think all the Wetherspoons are pretty good the staff are trained but they don't like being friendly i an Australian the brits don't believe me when i tell them prepared food is half the cost in au. No b.s. half price .at left online menu says 14 pound for mix grill NO. try 22 but the beans were within 5 cents of home . The mixed grill was good that's cheaper than a hamburger you cant eat and throw away. with a drink off the menu was a good move

There was a woman in there who wished the world to know about the dealings with her brother. Only fell silent when food arrived. Another chap with a '90's mobile phone couldn't decide whether to leave the pub or not.

Real nice Wetherspoons in the middle of a busy Twickenham high street. Great prices and selection of food. You know what your getting with a spoons so this ticks all the boxes. Great place for a pre drink on a night out :-)

Just over a fiver for two pints plus a varied and cheap menu, make this an ideal place for a visit. It's a Wetherspoons pub so you know what to expect, there's no live entertainment or loud music, just a busy and functional pub with pretty good food. I ordered a steak, my partner a small breakfast. The service was quick, and the food was good. Both dishes included a drink. The cost under £20. The only thing to factor in is a steep staircase to the loos, so be careful! The loos, though, are very clean, so that is a bonus!

I always loved to dine at any Wetherspoon pub - less interaction with waiters, always great food for very reasonable prices, drinks cost lesser than other pubs!

Lovely rugby themed pub with an excellent range of beers, a solid range of food offerings and all at a very low price. The place is clean and has an outdoor area too.

Typical wetherspoons pub with the usual drinks and menu. Bit quiet when we visited late afternoon. Lots of rugby memorabilia around the walls but no real 'rugby' feel to the place.

Well stocked. Everything that we wanted was available.

In terms of value for money, it's hard to beat a Wetherspoons. It's so big that you really can't expect there to be an 'atmosphere' per se. Come with a group of friends and bring your own atmosphere. The only fault is the same with all Wetherspoons; uncleared and/or sticky tables. It baffles me that this isn't something they've been able to address with training for the last 30 years but honestly, I'm so used to cleaning my own table now, it doesn't bother me at all and it's a small price to pay for one of the few remaining establishments in Britain that still wants to give their customers value for money.

Maybe I caught this place on a bad day. It was an England v wales weekend and England won. The pub was incredibly busy and the staff seemed to be doing incredibly well to keep the punters happy. Maybe it's just weatherspoon pubs but I really didn't take to the place or enjoy the atmosphere. The beer wasn't great and it was served in a think plastic beaker that resembled a measuring jug. I quite like a busy pub on game day and the atmosphere that is created when packed together. However this didn't feel pun, vibrant or social at all. Very strange. Hopefully it was a one off....

Disappointed with the meal as it was just warm (baked beans chips and the vegetarian sausages were not good. Normally enjoy meals at Weather spoons.

Sunday morning breakfast. Service was good prompt and courteous. Food was a bit tepid, cold by the end. Weatherspoon Faversham is still the best for breakfast.....

A typical large Wetherspoons themed around rugby as you might expect being in the centre of Twickenham. We arrived around 6pm and it was nicely crowded. We ordered Ham Egg and chips which arrived very promptly. We thought the decor was a bit dark and gloomy. However as usual it was great value for money.

Went in on the Saturday of the Depeche Mode concert.. a mistake as the drinks were very expensive and plastic not quite pint mugs given instead of standard glasses. Will know not to bother in future when events are on.
