I would 100% recommend & rate this as the number 1 best pub in Suffolk. This pub used to be a restaurant unfortunately didn’t take off very well. So the owner Derek (who is a lovely man) turned it around into a full scale pub. With a pool table, dart board & big TV’s and nice seating areas in and outside. I’ve been going to this pub only for about a year or 2. The service is 5* every time without fail. Staff are a o friendly. Even the locals are welcoming. They have a nice play area down the bottom with a swing and a slide to accommodate kids. The atmosphere is always very chilled and relaxed in there which brings a nice vibe in the pub but probably not for business. But overall I cannot rate this pub anymore. Well worth a visit and to recommend to family and friends!

This afternoon tea for my daughter’s birthday was very disappointing. We arrived at the “please wait to be seated” sign and a waitress shouted across just find yourself a seat. I was a bit confused as I had booked online. However no seats had been reserved. We found a seat but it did need wiping down (this didn’t happen). We ordered and were allowed only one sandwich filling choice out of four options each. I then took the long walk to find the toilets. When I got back our tiny tea pot to share, cups and plates had arrived. I actually laughed at the size of the tea pot. The fillings of the sandwiches were nice and quite a lot of it. The cakes themselves were ok. The scones were very dry and we had run out of tea after one and a half small cups each. I was going to order another pot but a helpful waitress suggested a a pot of hot water or we would be charged. When the hot water came it was even smaller than the tea pot. Such a shame as I had heard good things but we won’t bother going back. £34 for two of us.

Visited here last Saturday, table and cutlery was very clean. We ordered an all day breakfast and the special board Shepherds pie and 2 cups of tea . All day breakfast was nice and hot but the bread and butter turned out to be bread and margarine, the Shepherds pie and veg was only luke warm. With the tea I had to ask for another tea bag for one of the cups as it was milky with a very light brown colour to it ( I like strong tea). Tea was reasonably priced if it comes out stronger at £1.50 a cup. The 2 meals brought the price to almost £27 . I will admit both meals had good quality food on both plates and the flavours were good, but the Shepherds pie needed heating up more. Service was good and all staff we encountered were friendly and efficient

Amazing caravan park. Staff all lovely and the caravans are great. Very clean, give you all cooking equipment you would need etc. amazing value for money. Went with 3 of my friends and costs us £99 for 3 nights! Entertainment was amazing, it was more aimed towards children during the day/early night but about 9pm it was singing tributes which adults can enjoy too. Bar was expensive but it’s what you expect. The shop of sight was reasonable prices and had everything you would need. Food was lovely at the fish and chip shop. Only down side I would say is that I think the cheaper price you pay, your caravan will usually be far from the main area. Wasn’t too bad but would be useful to know if you have difficulty walking etc. close drive to the beach and pier.

This is much better than the cafes/restaurants you typically find at stately homes. You can easily book on line, even for a large group. There is a large menu with something for everyone. The restaurant is spacious and pleasant to sit in. The quality of the food is very good. Staff are friendly. My only criticism is that the table was dirty when we arrived and it took a while and several requests for it to be cleaned. I suspect that they don't have enough staff.

This is a back handed review as I’m extremely let down and would not return if it wasn’t for a particular member of staff. I have followed from the olive tree and was excited to hear the vine tree opening, I have since been in a few times to the new vine tree and the last time I arrived with friends for lunch. The food was fabulous and the cafe itself is lovely plenty of seating, the biggest problem was the staff. The lady serving front of house is rude, she never smiles, times before I’ve been in she will speak her language to her friends in front of customers making people feel awkward, this particular visit with my friends(group of 6) was the final straw when we witnessed her eating behind the counter chomping with her mouth wide open whilst we were trying to eat! She is incredibly rude when taking orders, she doesn’t seem to be very tolerable of children as we saw a couple go in with their child and the child was very happy saying hello to the lady and she quite literally ignored the child. She also pulls faces and rolls her eyes when you’re trying to tell her your food order. There is a lovely young man that comes in and out from the back he is very chatty happy and extremely attentive to the customers, he spoke to us and made time for us to check if the food was okay (something the waitress at front didn’t do) after us, he also went round checking other tables and seemed to make everyone laugh and bring a much happier pleasant energy to the cafe. I’m unsure how the roles in the cafe work and who does what but whoever the young man was I really hope to see him more regularly as he seems to be the saving grace of the cafe! Along with the good food. It is a shame to see how down hill the staffing is going, the lady was at the olive tree and always felt awkward there, however it has dramatically gotten worse! I will be returning as the prices of the cafe are very good and the quality of food I am always satisfied with, I just hope to see more friendly staff, as there is an older generation that mainly spend money in the cafe (myself being one of them) sometimes us oldies want a little chat and a nice smile to brighten our days! If we cannot get that then the least I would expect from any food venue is good manners. Thankyou to the young man.

I come here every Wednesday with my 16 month old and I’m always blown away with how good this place is! They have a room set up with a baby gate and toys for the little ones which is ideal. The food is always amazing with good portion sizes. The staff are always really friendly and go out of their way to help and always interact with my little girl. I really can’t recommend Willows Cafe enough!!!

We were staying just down the road and fancied a walk and some late breakfast. I ordered the big breakfast, which was exactly what it said on the tin. Hot, well cooked and tasty. Only disappointment was the sausages, sorry I'm not a fan of cheap sausages!!! I'd rather pay a little more and have better quality. But overall very good
