It is not bad as a community place to help many people in need. The food and drink was nice but ee would like our meals close to same time.

Lovely feel in conservatory. Friendly. Tasty lunch - but be prepared for a quite long wait.

This is a beautiful boutique cake shop in Old Welwyn, with the most delicious cupcakes, cakes, sandwiches and afternoon teas. It's run by an absolutely lovely local lady who makes the most amazing bakes! The shop is really pretty and quaint, with beautiful crockery and a lovely friendly vibe in the centre of Old Welwyn. The shop has a fantastic range of cakes and treats, including options for vegan, vegetarian and gluten free, which is brilliant. I often admire their celebration, birthday and wedding cakes online as well - they look amazing (maybe I need to get married again ;) ) Will definitely be back!

Stopped off for a quick coffee and a snack this morning, lovely views, quick friendly service and reasonably priced. Will definitely be back for a meal soon!

The Crown is a proper old fashioned pub but with a modern twist. The landlord is so helpful and genuinely trying to make everyone's visit enjoyable. Had a private party there tonight and everyone commented on how enjoyable the night was. Hats off to Tim and the staff.

The venue is quite pleasant: good seating, good accessible, good lighting; it tends to be very cosy, which matches perfectly with the friendliness of the staff. There are different options for the food; pricing is more than reasonable. As mentioned, the staff is quite kind, friendly and efficient, which makes a lot of difference. The food and drinks were served quite promptly, and the staff was very attentive at explaining any detail of the service. As I understood, there are seasonal promotions, and you need to book in advance to get them. The location is also quite good. Being away from the centre benefits of ample space, which is usable in the warm season with outdoor sitting. However, I couldn't see a specific parking.

My friend and I popped in to have a quick drink and we decided to order some food to share. We enjoyed both food and drinks. Friendly staff and reasonable prices.

Lovely pub great staff and good atmosphere We went for desserts and coffee 6 of us had a lovely table and the service was really good Desserts were all very tasty If I had to give only one criticism and it’s a personal opinion is the cheeseboard was very small Apart from that I would return and definitely recommend
