Lovely pub great staff and good atmosphere We went for desserts and coffee 6 of us had a lovely table and the service was really good Desserts were all very tasty If I had to give only one criticism and it’s a personal opinion is the cheeseboard was very small Apart from that I would return and definitely recommend

Absolutely delicious! Overall was a 10/10 experience. The meat was perfectly grilled, juicy, and full of flavour, with just the right amount of seasoning. The pita bread was warm and soft, while the tzatziki dip on the side added the perfect creamy and refreshing touch. Every bite was a balance of savory and fresh. Portion sizes were generous, and the food arrived hot and fresh, even after delivery. Highly recommend to anyone craving authentic, high-quality souvlaki—definitely going to be a regular order!

Could not eat all my lamb Donner kebab (not your classic donner that's for sure) meat was over cooked, dry too salty. Chicken kebab meat was good but again over salted

I have had the worst experience of my life… placed the big order of 700£ last Christmas from this shop… based on ratings and reviews but the experience was unfortunate and I realised that all those reviews are fake… pathetic food… disaster packing and the behaviour of shop owner is cocky to my son… hate the food literally simply avoids especially their kebabs and merida meals big words and all illusions

We've been going to The Brookmans for many years and have watched it slowly decline over time. At our most recent visit we started with a cappuccino each. They were very disappointing, basically just a very milky latte, certainly not cappuccinos. We followed this with the Full Cooked Breakfast each. Very small portions, one small sausage, one small shrivelled mushroom, half a tomato that looked like it had been under the grill for a day and it all looked pretty unappetising. After 12 years we will be looking for another place for brekkie for our next visit to Brookmans Park.

Ordered on Deliveroo (presuming they are also known as Brookmans Park Kebsbs?!) even though I’m 5 miles away they still delivered and I’m so glad they did. The most authentic kebab I’ve had for a while, proper thick fluffy pitta, great hunks of chargrilled pork, the sheftalia was delicious too and tzatziki made with thick Greek yoghurt. Portions are huge, and I’ll be ordering again! Fantastic

This was a special treat for my daughter and myself we pre-booked the table for eight and when we arrived it was extremely busy but the service and food were still excellent

We came in as a family end of November and we all had a really good time. The food was really good and the service given to us by Sandra was amazing. The actual venue looked lovely and we were made to feel very welcome. Would definitely recommend and hopefully see you again soon.

We thank god every day for Mitsi Tavernaki in Brookmans Park. Good food always at the ready. Friendly and helpful, joyful staff especially James and Vasili who always take care of us while we wait for our takeaway with a glass of rose and a little taster of gyro.

We stumbled on this by chance and couldn't believe what we found - without exaggerating, the best Greek food I've eaten outside Greece (where we've travelled a lot). Worth going a long way to enjoy this - beautifully prepared suvlakia, salads, gigantes beans etc. All served by such friendly and welcoming people. Can't recommend highly enough.

I’ve been ordering here since it opened and I can honestly say it’s the best Greek food around. No one comes close. James the owner and Vassilie the chef are so kind and funny always making us laugh. Cannot recommend them enough.

I ordered via Deliveroo. The ‘roasted vegetables’ which were £9.95 were limp, soggy and such a tiny portion for the money paid. Chicken skewer was delicious and moist . I had ordered the chicken with porgouri for health reasons as I have high blood pressure and am not supposed to eat salty food. The porgouri was inedible- there must have been a spoonful of salt in it. I love porgouri so was very disappointed with my meal.

My Mother had her 70th birthday party at the Brookmans in the Garden Room during a busy Saturday afternoon. Staff and service were exceptional and attentive making for a fabulous time. Special mentions to Amy, Gary, Will, Kym and Ella. Thank you Brookmans for hosting an unforgettable event!

Souvlaki and sheftalia was spot on! Better than a lot of ones I had in Cyprus so this says it all!

Food is good but money is tight (overpriced, only cash and no tax receipt on collection).

Chicken souvla was really nice but didn’t come with salad like it stated, it also states “comes with salad and side” but you then have to choose your side for an extra cost of £4.95, bit confusing.

One of the best takeaways in the area if not the best. Top quality food with friendly, generous staff. A must visit.

Tried their hot wings, and I can say they were the most succulent and the best i’ve tried so far and the staff was very friendly and helpful with the menu even though it was busy. Definitely a 10/10, Must recommended.

Myself and my friend have visited Brookmans on a few rare occasions and never had any issues. We decided to pop down for lunch yesterday, our food was okay, nothing to rave about but we were satisfied! On the other hand our service was appalling, our waitress didn’t seem with it at all. We didn’t see a name, I just remember she had redish lipstick. We didn’t get offered any specials, she looked uninterested and unimpressed and to add to it looked like she was busier flirting and chit chatting to everyone behind the bar and kitchen. Not very professional if I say so myself. I think Brookmans have gone down hill and seriously need to think about retraining their staff as it’s laughable or just hiring staff that actually want to engage with customers and reliever and friendly and nice service. Won’t be returning.

Great food! Fresh, chunky salad, tasty chicken and sheftali, and huge portions. However, it took about 1hr 30mins to arrive. Today this wasn't a problem as the food was nice and hot, but it's something they should aim to improve.

Used to be my favourite place to get a proper souvlaki. The last takeaway we got the chips were overcooked, the tomatoes and cucumber in the souvlakia were completely inedible as they were off and there was literally half a teaspoons worth of onions and parsley in the pittas too. Very very disappointing!!! Sort it out before you lose loyal customers!!!

Ordered off their fake deliveroo name of brookmans park kebabs to save the deliveroo fee, said a 30 min wait for an order. After 1 hour and 30 mins the food still didn’t arrive. Use the deliveroo app to get a faster delivery

Love this resturant but tonight the delivery took very long to come, they did bring us a free dip and desserts which was lovely. Will of course order again, but earlier next time to not end up eating so late in the evening.

I have not used this restaurant before so did not know what quality to expect, but some of the chicken was pink and looked undercooked, which meant it could not be eaten. The vegetarian Moussaka tasted quite nice but it arrived cold.

I always go to this little gem! The food is absolutely unreal… I cannot recommend them enough, I order 3 times a week minimum and they do great lunch orders for my business (10/15 people) any amount of guest is not a challenge for these guys, they are the best at what they do. And Quality Doubles any one else’s in my opinion. They generally take everything into consideration, meat temperature, salad freshness, How cooked each meat is, it’s all been carefully planned out giving the most amazing Meals I can get! Starter and main course both very disappointing Prawn starter was tasteless Main course burger was also very disappointing and equally tasteless so will not be returning. My guest enjoyed her vegan burger.

Not impressed waited an hr paid £14.50 and sent this! Review is on hold speaking to owner as this is exactly how food arrived and he states its been tampered with This makes sense as used before and been OK my wife's food was fine.

Nice place, but the food was not good. Wild mushrooms tasted like they had come out of a tin. The scrambled eggs were a weird mustard colour, not yellow. Sourdough toast was impossible to cut and burnt on the edges. Very disappointed.

Food is amazing and restaurant staff very accommodating when Just eat ppl screw up. The driver never turned up at the restaurant I had to pick it up myself stupid just eat.

We have been here several times for takeaway, always been great food.

Ordered a takeaway from this restaurant this evening and both salads and pita bread was missing from the order. I rang the restaurant to complain and the lady on the phone was really unhelpful and not very apologetic. Meat itself tasted nice but a real shame half the meal was missing for only £4.90 compensation from Deliveroo after paying £64 for the meal.

One of the best pork kebabs I've had in a while.

We came for Sunday lunch. The food was excellent, and the atmosphere was perfect. Maddie and the team were great. The service was attentive without being intrusive. We had the roast beef and the vegetarian wellington for our mains, and pistachio Mille Feuille and Sticky Toffee pudding. Everything was delicious. There is a good selection of quality alcohol free beers too if you’re driving. We will be back.

Objective feedback: Nice building, sense of history, high ceilings etc – just as it was 25 years ago when we last visited. Noisy: there was music and DJ booming out from a private 40th birthday party in a function room adjacent to the bar/restaurant. However, there was also different music being piped to the restaurant. We were flanked by two tables of 12+ guys enjoying a night out. Hard wood floors exacerbated the noise so couldn’t really hear each other speak. Dim lighting: You need to use your phone’s torch to reach the menu. Service: It took over 30 minutes to order drinks and that was after flagging down staff. Food was served about 90 minutes after taking our seats – we requested that starters/main course be served at same time as we were worried about our taxi booking. ‘Special’s board’: We were informed that apart from the Ox cheek more or less everything else was not available except one monkfish and one ‘wagyu’ burger. Per the menu 'Cornish lamb, spring greens, and look out for English asparagus gracing our specials board' - was not on specials board! Subjective feedback: Staffing: staff were friendly/helpful, but we didn’t have a dedicated server it was down to whose attention we could attract at any given time. The chef appears to be particularly adept at presenting food that is quickly heated via a microwave (our party included two experienced chefs). Food quality/value: We all went basic firstly because of the lack of choice and secondly there was less chance to mess up. Reaction to the quality of dishes was mixed. £6 for three small slices of ciabatta with butter and a spoonful of marmite (!) and almost £17 for a double cheeseburger which was on par with McDonalds (see photo), speaks to value. We were hoping for a nice, relaxed restaurant so left disappointed. However, if you are a large group who are less concerned with service/food and just want a good night out then maybe this is the place for you.

Absolutely love the chicken gyros from here, they are quite large and taste great! From the places I have been, I'd say it does the best Gyros!

Outstanding food and service. I know my Greek Cypriot food and the dishes (kleftiko/moussaka) were authentic, flavoursome and generous. High standards too as they weren’t happy with the quality of their roast potatoes so gave us a rice (and the potatoes too - which were great anyway!) plus a dessert on the house too.

We just finished moussaka, kleftikoa and a village salad. Wow!!! Was just delicious!! Generous portions too…Will definitely order again!! Had their souvlakia several times before and always lovely. But this was different level!

This restaurant is the worst, I ordered takeout, I called the driver to find out how long it was taking and he told me that it wasn't even ready yet and the driver had arrived and as soon as he was going to prepare it, it took almost 2 hours for the driver to get my order It was 35 minutes and he had to cancel my order and it was reassigned to another driver and the very shameless cook had not prepared it yet so there were many drivers who canceled my order, no one apparently wants to pick up orders from this garbage restaurant, so yes If you want takeout, I don't recommend this, it's the worst.

I live in Welwyn Garden so this is 10 mins on the train and i will be going to this place again and again. Lovely building and pretty quiet at lunch today but can imagine on a Friday night this gets pretty lively. Food was lovely and the staff were just the right amount of attentive and watched the level of the pints and timed the " Would you like another?" perfectly. Was two of us and shared a starter and only one pud as not a fan of sweet things, plus 4 or 5 pints each and was £80...... and they did not include service and man do i LOVE a place that does not just pop on service when its just 2 people so i obviously gave them a pretty bog standard 10%. Can't recommend enough if you are a local. Enjoy Marcus

Absolutely the best , I I do mean the very VERY best Greek kebab establishment in all of Hertfordshire. A real good find. The food is second to none as is the service and the atmosphere. I have nothing negative to say whatsoever. Go there now...NOW 🎉🎉🎉🤤🤤

Food was ridiculously over priced, it was so late aswell. Just a joke how much I paid for this and it was completely below par in terms of food and service.

Lunch fine but upset to be landed with a £60 parking fine. Apparently you have to enter your reg details….none of the serving staff mentioned that..very annoying

5star lunch.. great roast at the Brookmans. Pork and beef both cooked perfectly.. roasties were perfect and fluffy inside and crispy in the outside . And the dessert…. oMG the best chocolate fondant ever with honeycomb and honeycomb ice cream…. I nearly ordered seconds .. Jess and Maddy were fantastic on table service. Thank you

One of if not the best grilled Mediterranean meals I've had, the staff are very welcoming and their passion for the meals they make comes off how they talk to you and have they talk about the food! The meats are delicious, the chicken in particular is soft and moist to taste which isn't always a guarantee at a restaurant. The best thing to taste was the slow cooked lamb shoulder souvlaki. If you're looking to eat quality greek food in Barnet I highly recommend this place.

We had an appalling Xmas dinner at BROOKMANS. We had some family over from Spain and it was embarrassing. Three pieces of Turkey brown meat two burnt chipolatas, vegetable mush and covered with gravy trying to hide the mess underneath. We ordered 4 of these meals! The starter was a fish cake which looked like it had been thrown on the plate. Cheap meat. This restaurant is a disgrace and I would highly recommend you don’t go there.
