Certainly not value for money, poor quality!! I shall not be returning for a second visit as I did not enjoy what I had and it was not value for money!

Really lovely location. We stopped here for lunch after a walk along the river and had a delicious lunch- the chips were excellent! We stayed for coffee and cakes too, which I can totally recommend. We've been here several times and have always been pleased with the food (especially the brownies!)

We had a beautiful lunch today. There was 3 of us in our party, each ordered something different, the food was outstanding, all clearly cooked fresh to order. Large portions well presented and oh so tasty. Thoroughly recommended, and the menu is always being updated with specials too.

Staying locally for a few days we do have our tried and tested favourite places to eat, but we always try to find different ones for a change. Checking online The Sorrell Horse was only a short drive away and so we booked in advance by phone with a man who came across straight away as friendly and welcoming. On arrival straight away you could feel the friendly vibe. The pub/restaurant is very clean and the Landlord and his one assistant worked very hard whilst at same time providing a homely feel. A great choice of ales on offer and all at very good prices. The menu provided good options of British food and coming from an area that does not provide it o was chuffed to see Rock Eel on the menu, I just had to have it and was not disappointed. Portions are plentiful so I shared a Belgium waffle with two scooped of ice cream / caramel sauce for dessert. A really enjoyable evening of food and hospitality… we will return again. Boy is of the evening was the lighting of a VE 80 years beacon at the rear of the pub. Great atmosphere

After driving past White Hart many times and admiring how beautiful the location is, we decided to try it. We booked our table well in advance to ensure we could get a table. We waited an hour and half after our table booking to get our table. Only then did we get our table after asking several times. We then waited an hour for our food after again prompting the staff. None of the staff came to our table to check everything was OK or take our drink order. We had to go to the bar to get our drinks. The food was very good, although not very hot. We were not offered anything in the way of compensation for our 3 hour wait. I was really looking forward to our meal here, but left, extremely disappointed.

A lovely afternoon tea experience at this fine establishment. The staff were welcoming and friendly. We chose our sandwich fillings and choice of bread and they were made to order. The afternoon tea stand was amazing with favourites of scotch eggs, sausage rolls, cheese twists & scones. There were a wonderful variety of homemade cakes which were very tasty. We all enjoyed teas, coffees and prosecco. A great time was had by all and we all agreed we will be back. Thank you to the staff at Lottys 👏👏
