A lovely afternoon tea experience at this fine establishment. The staff were welcoming and friendly. We chose our sandwich fillings and choice of bread and they were made to order. The afternoon tea stand was amazing with favourites of scotch eggs, sausage rolls, cheese twists & scones. There were a wonderful variety of homemade cakes which were very tasty. We all enjoyed teas, coffees and prosecco. A great time was had by all and we all agreed we will be back. Thank you to the staff at Lottys 👏👏

Everything about my visit to Lotty's was exceptional. Called in for breakfast with friends. Service was outstanding, as was the food. Wait time was minimal. Service was with a smile. I would 100% recommend and will definitely be visiting again.

Looks smart inside and very clean however the toasted teacakes on this occasion were very thin and were toasted on both sides drying them up, we prefer them toasted on the cut side to avoid them ending up like toast, perhaps we should have asked for them to be done like that. Insufficient butter to moisten them. Cappuccinos were fine.

Been a few times this year ,food is fine, and service usually ok. However Saturday we called in a few tables were reserved, some stblrast one and half hours later than we visited, a couple were leaving and asked us if we would like that table so we sat down. That's when the welcome finished, no welcome. Menus put in front of us we ordered again no conversation, and we were continually looked at ,I'm thinking they want us to go because they will be busy later on and we were not welcome at all. I was going to buy the small individual christmas cake and have a go on their draw ,my wife paid ,asked to stamp loyalty card . twice for two pots of tea,you only get one per visit ,no thank you or goodbye, so never again.

Sunday out for a walk with our pup passing Lotty's and its been a while since we called in here as it always seems so busy and seats are at a premium. Under cover outside seating has been here for a wile but now improved as has the tea room interior. The serving counter now repositioned into a more usable position at the rear of the tearoom allowing more tables inside. The food has the same high standard and the place is spotlessly clean, well behaved dogs are allowed in and you can book a table in advance. Next door adjoined is the cake shop also Lotty's.

This is a little gem, reasonably priced food and friendly helpful staff. We often call here on our way to Old Felixstowe and get a takeaway, yesterday it was sausage and egg baps and chips and cakes, all delicious, but another day it might be baked potatoes with multiple fillings, or salads or sausage rolls, I could go on, just call and try it you won’t be disappointed. Eat in or eat out it’s all good

We ordered Key Lime Pie, which looked delicious, and coffees. Service very good, but the pie was a huge let down. The lime filling was lovely and tangy, but the biscuit base had been made with very cheap margarine, tasted awful, neither of us could eat it. Shame really, otherwise nice place for lunch.

Just had a breakfast at this lovely cafe Must say it’s by far the best breakfast in Felixstowe at the moment. Beautifully cooked and very tasty and served by a delightful lady who certainly made us feel welcome. Couldn’t resist a couple of slices of delicious coffee and walnut , carrot cake we bought home for tea ! If Lottys was anywhere near the seafront you would have to book in advance for months ! As it is it’s Old Felixstowe’s local gem.

Booked for a luxury afternoon tea and was left a bit disappointed. We liked the fact you could chose the sandwich fillings and the scones were lovely. But the afternoon tea offered a 'selection of cakes'. On the stand was a slice of cornflake jam tart, a dark chocolate rocky road and dark chocolate dipped flapjack. None of these were cakes and all tray 'bakes'. We were disappointed in that fact and that there was so many cake choices on the counter. Once food was delivered, no one asked how things were. We would have happily paid for more tea but couldn't catch the eye of a staff member and gave up. I sadly wouldn't go back for afternoon tea.

Absolutely lovely little cafe attached to a bakers. My lunch was a delicious panini served beautifully. Loved it! My fried had the large full English- it looked really tasty and she says it was and ate every scrap! Reasonably priced. Good selection of tea and coffee. The staff are lovely too. Glorious range of reasonably priced cakes. Took one home for my husband and he said it was delicious. Will definitely go back soon!

As usual on a sunny day the café is busy with the indoor seating full but there is space outdoors thankfully. This visit we noticed the largest variety of cakes on display apparently all baked in house.

Lottys is a lovely little cafe and shop, however a little expensive to what we are used too! Although you will not be disappointed with the cakes and the savoury items! The baker that bakes all these cakes! Savoury items! Has worked in a previous location along Walton high street and my gosh his treats have followed him! Thankyou for continuing to give Felixstowe and our tourists amazing cakes and bakes.. lottys should be very proud to have you working for them.

Only been open for two weeks since mid July 23 and is adjoined to the bread and cake shop next door so when you have finished pick up some cakes. You will not be disappointed with this one as we found it the best we have been to in the town. Home prepared food by the owners wife and what a great job she does. Pet friendly to well behaved dogs, there are several outside seats some under cover as well. The small café can probably seat inside approx. 14 people.

The ambiance was warm and welcoming, setting the perfect tone for a relaxing meal. The service was exceptional—friendly and attentive without being intrusive. I highly recommend the The Bell Hotel Cheeseburger, which was cooked to perfection, bursting with flavor. The Cod and Crab Fishcake was a delightful start, and the dessert, Baileys Cheesecake, was the perfect sweet ending. Every aspect of the meal, from the presentation to the quality of ingredients, was top-notch. This place is a must-visit for anyone looking for a memorable meal. I’ll definitely be returning soon!

We had a beautiful lunch today. There was 3 of us in our party, each ordered something different, the food was outstanding, all clearly cooked fresh to order. Large portions well presented and oh so tasty. Thoroughly recommended, and the menu is always being updated with specials too.

Excellent high end (for Aldeburgh) restaurant. The food was delicious and the service was very competent, personal and friendly. We enjoyed the asparagus and the mains in particular. The fish and chips were very good, but there were more interesting things on the menu.

Stopped for a couple of takeaway coffees at just before 4PM after reading online they were open till 5PM. I was informed they actually close at 4PM, so opted to take a friend some chocolates instead. I bought a small bag of chocolate almonds and an even smaller bag of chocolate buttons. Nearly laughed out loud when the woman said £31 at the checkout! Were these chocolates crafted by gold fingered elves on the tip of mount Snowdon at sunrise? I figured I would buy them anyway as the reviews raved artisan produce. The chocolates were extremely average and frankly, had my mind not been elsewhere, £31 was extortionate proportionally, especially in sleepy Suffolk, and I should have not purchased them. This an extremely arrogant and overpriced shop in the centre of a tiny village in the middle of nowhere. I even saw a can of beer for £15 which I have previously bought for half the price! Would not go again.
