Kesgrave Kitchen in Suffolk Coastal

Absolutely delicious and reasonably priced. I have eggs Royal most times when eating out for breakfast and this was delicious. The homemade hollandaise was yummy too. My husband had a butchers breakfast and he was very impressed. My first time trying a match chai latte and I loved it. Will definitely return.

Usually very busy when we call in for coffee and snack. Great staff, very good service, and parking a bonus!

During a powercut on a Saturday morning we decided the only course of action was breakfast out! They have a good range of types of breakfast, I had the traditional fry up. But Pancakes and Eggs Benedict was also enjoyed by other members of the family. The only criticism is the acoustics are poor and it did get very noisy in there. However i dont think this is enough of a problem to only warrant 4 stars.

A very welcoming and well done out cafe. We went here for breakfast, which was very good quality at a decent price; there's also a variety of different lunchtime options which again looked very high quality. Would happily recommend.

Such delicious food. The kind of food you want to eat again the next day. I had eggs royale, lots of salmon, superb hollandaise sauce. Attentive service. Nice decor. The only thing I would prefer would be a quieter background. I guess a busy place is always noisy, but there are no soft furnishings to absorb this. Nice toilets. Outside seating too....would be lovely on a warmer day. It would be my go-to place, if I lived close by.

Sometimes, this place can get quite busy, but for the right reasons. The staff are friendly and attentive, and the food is really good, Everything is fresh, usually locally sourced. Nothing on the menu will leave you disappointed! And why not wash it all down with freshly squeezed orange juice or a rather indulgent hot chocolate 😋

Was recommended the kesgrave Kitchen by some colleagues and it did not disappoint! Some said it’s a bit more expensive but in my opinion the quality of food, friendly service and lovely atmosphere was well worth it and I shall definitely be returning.

A very nice place to have a good breakfast. The staff is super friendly and the location rather modern and appears freshly reworked. It seems that many locals are visiting this place, which I assume, speaks for itself.

Food was absolutely amazing, cooked to perfection, good quality and presented so well. Treated my girls aged 12 and 9 and they loved it. One had poached egg on smashed avocado and sourdough toast with salmon, the other had dirty fries. They both had white hot chocolate with marshmallows and cream. Honestly, I will make this a monthly treat, next time I’m told the American pancakes will be their choice! Service was amazing, only negative is it was cold, but if I had of known they provided blankets I would have given 5* Lovely, clean and happy environment. Highly recommend x

Turned up in the pouring rain with my daughter, her boyfriend and stepson. There were a couple of tables free but none for 4 people. Lady came over and said there would be a little bit of a wait. I said fine we would just stand inside the door as there was plenty of room. She told me we weren’t allowed to stand inside and would have to wait outside in the wind and rain. First time I’ve ever been told that anywhere. First started going in there 30 years ago. I won’t be going back.

This place is great what a find ! ! reasonable prices great indoors and outside space and the food was fantastic. I can't believe this establishment is so close to us and we never knew about it. We shall be going back without a doubt. Opening times are between 8am until 3pm and closed on Sundays.

Good service, great food. Parking is a bit of a chore, however this isn’t the fault of a great little kitchen. Lots of space inside for many diners.

Very clean very friendly and a good atmosphere, great for breakfast or lunch. Just a shame they are not open on Sunday's.

Very nice clean place we stopped in on the way back from Colchester. The food was very nice especially the breakfast and sausage roll 😋. The staff are all very friendly and the toilets are very clean.

My son took me here for lunch, one of his favourite 'discoverys' since he started working in Ipswich. Really nice food, I'll be back again. Went back again today with my wife. She was just as pleased as I was with this great little cafe.

Hello ate there nice place but don't like the yellow containers in back garden to kill wasps seems cruel as they are not able to get out and die slowly may not bother some people but others may not like spoilt our visit would rather leave nature alone be good if you remove these please many thanks

First time I’ve visited here, it’s a very friendly and welcoming cafe that offers a wide range of food, drinks (hot and cold), cakes and pastries. Food is good value for money here, there is both indoor and outdoor seating. Dog friendly for outdoors (must be on a lead) - overall, definitely worth dropping by if you’re driving past! In terms of the food I ordered, I found the pancakes were drenched in honey (would have preferred honey in a pot to drizzle personally). Freshly squeezed OJ was a bit overpriced though.

We were recommended to this place by a colleague from breakfast. There were 5 of us altogether but we were seated comfortably. Everyone enjoyed their meal. These were eggs benedict and ham, egg & chips with a mixture of latte's and soft drinks. For 5 of us it was just over £10 p/p. The staff were great too, really polite and happy. We all enjoyed it will be going back.

Since it's refurbishment Kesgrave Kitchen has had quite a buzz to it. Often busy with good food in pleasant surroundings. It can get a bit too loud in there but I believe they're working on that.

Excellent little cafe, I went here whilst my boy was training at Ipswich Football (5min drive). The staff were lovely, and so was the food. I had a small butcher's breakfast. All the items were local and tasted delicious. I will be coming again and can recommend if you are in the area. Thanks

Tried to charge me £1.50 to have scrambled egg instead of fried. I can buy 6 eggs for that.

It has been a couple of years since I last visited. Extensively modernised and updated but all done tastefully and with an eye for detail. Pleasant and cheerful staff, great range of breakfast options, service was great and good value. I will be back.

Always found this little cafe to be really nice. However today’s experience was very disappointing. We were waiting for a table by the inside door and we were asked to wait outside, when I pointed out to the waitress it was pouring with rain she said we still had to wait outside, so we left without our breakfast. We weren’t blocking the exit or in anyones way, why would you make your customers wait outside in the rain?

I haven't been in here for a long time because I used to always go with my husband and after he died it was a bit much. But a friend took me for breakfast after a horrible trip to the hospital and it's like a different place. The food was amazing, perfect bacon. They get extra points for the beautiful autumn decorations.

Sausages are bland. They need to get revetts sausages from Wickham market. Then their English breakfast would be lovely. # update due to response. Those people are crazy, revetts are the best, always have been.

Have been before but what a lovely place. No rush to order and staff are warm and friendly. You have 3 options inside or out the front or in the gardens. Also dogs allowed. We had the full breakfast it was so much didnt eat anything else for the rest of the day. Wonderful atmosphere and would recommend you to go.

Perfect experience this morning at the Kesgrave Kitchen. Food was perfect, price was definitely reasonable, service was polite and very efficient & the facilities were clean and tidy. This is a lovely place 10/10!

Recently refurbished and a great place for a bit of breakfast. Nice decor, decent prices, good coffee and plenty of high chairs for the kids. Lots of choice, from American pancakes through to eggs benedict. Huge back garden too for the summer, although could do with a little more play equipment to keep the kids more occupied ;-)

Lovely little place for breakfast / brunch / lunch. Very friendly service. Great quality with locally sourced products. Reasonably priced. Can be busy at weekends (but that’s always a good sign). I had the American breakfast. Bacon, hashbrown, eggs and pancakes. Fantastic!
