The place is amazing very friendly staff friendly to talk to good price for everything quick and it a good place for a lunch break

Went here with 2 friends for a festive treat, easy to book via Facebook, all ready when we arrived. Lovely decorations and a very friendly welcome and service. Food was plentiful, home made and delicious. Only criticism would be it was a little cold- wear a big jumper, we had to finish in our coats!

The food, drinks and setting are amazing. Very affordable and the owners and staff are an absolute delight. Excellent views across the estuary just add to the charm.

I treated my daughters and their friend to ice cream and cookies, and they loved it. The ice cream was amazing- especially the mint aero, chosen by 2 of the girls. The guy serving us was friendly and chatty, and very patient while my daughter nipped to the loo mid order. He also made sure the table was clean before we sat down. Great experience.

Need to bake more white sandwich tins, always sold out before I can get there. Need to sell unseeded bread sandwiches. Far too many rules to take part in this review Why why why why why why

Visited several times. Always a good experience. Chill ambience. Friendly, helpful staff. Tasty, freshly made food. May be the best coffee I've had locally. Freshly ground. (Had 2 cups.) Today we ate bowl of fresh leek and potato soup (Todays soup. Need to check flavour on the day) with croutons and baguette. Avocado and halloumi on sourdough with red onion, tomatoes, rocket and chilli jam. All presented attractively and very tasty. Previously had other dishes - all good. Also, really allergy aware for those that need it.

We had a lovely experience at The Grove! The staff were incredibly thoughtful and friendly, making us feel very welcome. Nicole was especially warm and made our visit feel extra special. Holly was truly impressive with her attention to detail and excellent service. The food was delicious, and I must extend my thanks to the chefs for preparing such a wonderful meal. Highly recommend! Lovely little cafe, servers were polite and efficient, food and coffee was well priced and absolutely delicious, accommodating dietary requirements was no issues for this place, the owner should be very proud of the standards set and maintained, looking forward to coming back…..

Twice I have been here with my wife. Twice we've asked to eat in, placed our order, and waited at our table. Twice we have been brought our takeaway bag... At least last time they let us eat it at our table with the disposable cutlery. This time we were chased out and told it's a different price to eat in. A price I would happily have paid if the food was brought to me on a plate. You made a mistake, but you make your customers pay for it? Once was bad enough, but twice has earned you this review. I will be telling others about this. Arrived home to find my drink was missing from the order. I phoned in and waited 15 minutes to be told they needed the card I paid with in order to refund me. I used mobile tap and pay so I don't have access to the card number as Google uses a virtual proxy card. I can only be refunded if I go back there. I have called again since and been told they were too busy to talk to me. I have never been treated so poorly at any establishment in this country, let alone in this town. I have no idea how this business stays afloat if they treat all their customers like dirt. Not one single apology offered, not one person to take responsibility for this. I'd have dropped the whole matter for a single good natured "we're sorry about that", but they almost seem to take pleasure in this.

Food not amazing but then it's primarily a bar and does a good job on that count with nice decor

The kleftiko was yum. The restaurant was practically empty but being early, maybe it would've been livelier later. Orange pie was good

Stopped in for a late night fish & chips dinner. We had scampi and chips x 2, a bread roll each, a can of drink and a couple of sauce sachets and it only came to £21! Really reasonable especially considering scampi can cost a fortune nowadays. The food was piping hot and fresh, and absolutely delicious. Will definitely return!
