Went here with 2 friends for a festive treat, easy to book via Facebook, all ready when we arrived. Lovely decorations and a very friendly welcome and service. Food was plentiful, home made and delicious. Only criticism would be it was a little cold- wear a big jumper, we had to finish in our coats!

I treated my daughters and their friend to ice cream and cookies, and they loved it. The ice cream was amazing- especially the mint aero, chosen by 2 of the girls. The guy serving us was friendly and chatty, and very patient while my daughter nipped to the loo mid order. He also made sure the table was clean before we sat down. Great experience.

We visited for Sunday roast. Fantastic food - the beef was amazing! Also, the best roast potatoes I’ve had in a restaurant. Very good service and lovely views over the water. Highly recommend a visit if you are in Leigh on Sea. We will definitely be returning and can’t wait to try some of the other delicious sounding dishes on the main menu.

Lovely little cafe, servers were polite and efficient, food and coffee was well priced and absolutely delicious, accommodating dietary requirements was no issues for this place, the owner should be very proud of the standards set and maintained, looking forward to coming back…..

...But yesterdays visit with a couple of friends was disappointing. The fish - cod for them, plaice for us - came up covered in oil, which I had to mop up with a napkin, and much of the batter was soggy. It was as if the cooking oil wasnt hot enough, even tho' the fish was cooked ok. We didnt complain, but also we didnt get asked whether everything was ok, which we always have been asked on our previous visits. We also asked for a bottle of malbec, but got served a malbec/merlot blend and it got a definite thumbs down from all 3 who drank it....thin and not too pleasant, certainly not worth the £22 we paid for it. We will return at some point later in the year tho', hoping that this visit was a one-off

Booked a meal for a social group I belong to yesterday (Thursday 6th Feb) so glad I did because the feedback and gratitude was amazing. Everyone just loved the food, said it was delicious plus the staff and atmosphere were brilliant. Thank you KYMA, I was a nervous host as 24 people signed up for the meal but within a short while I could relax and really enjoy myself too. Highly recommend KYMA and am definitely booking for the group again
