Liquid Flair in Southend-on-Sea

Visited several times. Always a good experience. Chill ambience. Friendly, helpful staff. Tasty, freshly made food. May be the best coffee I've had locally. Freshly ground. (Had 2 cups.) Today we ate bowl of fresh leek and potato soup (Todays soup. Need to check flavour on the day) with croutons and baguette. Avocado and halloumi on sourdough with red onion, tomatoes, rocket and chilli jam. All presented attractively and very tasty. Previously had other dishes - all good. Also, really allergy aware for those that need it.

I have walked past this cafe a few times and thought it was more about the drinks, with regards to the name, but my friend and I popped in after we couldn’t get in elsewhere. Well, what a gem of a cafe this is!! Will definitely make a bee line for this place. The food was lovely and really reasonably priced, which is unusual for Leigh. A lovely, varied menu which made it difficult to choose. The young girl who served us was just lovely, chatty and friendly and nothing was too much trouble. Had a baby with us too and the little table seat provided was great. No complaints at all, only praise! Will be coming back again very soon. Thank you!

The team at liquid flair catered for our company's lunch meeting, we had the most amazing wraps and super gorgeous milkshakes! we are pretty much going to be there every week from now on, Thanks Guys!....LOVELY

Lovely little café with tons of delicious breakfast options, sandwiches and cakes. The owner and staff are wonderful and make you feel like part of the family. Can definitely recommend!

Stumbled upon this café looking for somewhere to get lunch with my two young kids. The staff could not have been more lovely or patient. Sandwiches, salad, coffee and milkshakes were amazing. Lovely atmosphere, modern and stylish but still felt welcoming and comfortable. Overall the best experience I’ve had in Leigh (and I’ve visited a lot of cafés). I’ll be back!

Our office is obsessed with their tower/sausage baguettes!!! They taste incredible and the service is always quick and easy. We wish they did a loyalty card options eg. buy 10 baguettes get one free maybe as we would probably all end up spending even more money there!

What can I say apart from excellent. Lovely staff very attentive and very apologetic that we had to wait awhile due to it being so busy. Will definitely go again. Great prices and excellent food

Easily one of the best cafes in the broadway, food and coffee is top notch. Always greated by welcoming staff so would highly recommend.

We had fantastic sandwiches from Liquid Flair today, all home made, the service was brilliant and friendly. I will definitely be using Liquid Flair more often.

I took my son for lunch to Liquid Flair. The food was fantastic and the service went above and beyond. My young son asked for some food that was not on the menu and the owner went out of his way to supply the food to keep my son happy. All finished off with a couple of the finest milkshakes that we have ever had. Totally recommend this little gem of a place.

Food is always delicious and fresh. Staff are friendly and welcoming and dog loves the sausages. Highly recommended.

Visited Liquid Flair for Sunday morning breakfast. We both had the full English ‘mega’ breakfast and found it well cooked and great value for money. Service was friendly and really prompt. Would definitely recommend visit.

Stopped off here for lunch. Large all day breakfast was fabulous, great coffee. Not been here before, usually drop by a cafe on the main Broadway section, but this is just around the corner and was able to grab a table. Reasonable prices. Service was excellent, and I will certainly be going back.

Liquid flair seems to step it up a notch every time I visit. Tasty food, great milkshakes and Sam the frontman is a very welcoming and polite chap who is a credit to the shop!

Walked in solo for a coffee and sausage baguette. Spotless inside. Lovely fresh bread and very nice smooth flat white coffee. A very pleasant service as well. Will return soon.

Popped in here for breakfast last Saturday. The menu looked good but the wife and I really wanted some porridge with banana and honey. Liquid flair was just the place. It was served hot, was plentiful and tasted good. We followed up with tea and toast. All very reasonably priced too. The table behind were eating a full English and i was casting many an envious glance. We will be back to sample one soon.

There are so many places to eat in Leigh, but what do you do if you're in Leigh and don't want to pay £12.95 for egg on toast or get a vegan sausage? Go to Liquid Flair, it's one of the few places in Leigh offering a decent quality breakfast at a decent price. The coffee is good and the staff are friendly too.

This place is such a great little place for a lunch/breakfast. Straight forward good food and good service.

I work locally and often pop into Liquid Flair for breakfast. The staff are really nice and the food is the best around. I would also highly recommend the shakes if you have room for desert!

Went there for a light salad and a cappuccino with soya milk.

Shame about the lack of ingredients in a milkshake i.e. only half a crunchie in a milkshake rather than a whole one... seems a little tight to me

We went here during the week as we had dropped our daughter off for a very early interview and decided to have breakfast out. The cafe was spotlessly clean and the Manager very friendly. There was only him on but he took our order and was back with it in a reasonable length of time. We had the big breakfast and I have to say it was cooked beautifully. 2 Eggs, 2 Bacon, 2 Sausages, Baked beans, Half a tomato (fresh) and 2 rounds of toast p.p. 4 cups of tea and it came to £18. Not the cheapest but worth every penny. It was so nice to have no hash browns on the plate. I cannot understand this thing where most cafes dish up hash browns as part of breakfast. It seems totally out of place to me but I am old fashioned I know. So if you want a beautifully cooked old fashioned breakfast then come here. We will definitely return.

I pop in quite regularly when in the area as there is ample parking in this part of the Broadway. I can honestly say that whoever is serving is always friendly & polite, the food is cooked freshly ( not pre-heated ) when ordered so obviously you may have to wait a few minutes but when it turns up its plentiful & hot. The phone is constantly ringing for delivery orders which tells you that the food is good. The refurb has made it more comfortable & spacious, also the prices are on par with most eateries in the area if not cheaper. I would definitely recommend this family friendly establishment.

Last Saturday went to Liquid Flair with my better half and another couple for lunch.

Thought we would try Liquid Flair as we live just round the corner and noticed it had had a major refurbishment. The Panini and Sandwich were ok although I sent my Panini back to be cooked a little more as the mozzarella had not started to melt. The food was average but quite expensive and was served without any garnish on the side which I would have expected given the price and eating in. The milkshakes were also ok but nothing out of the ordinary, I wanted coconut but when they bought it they had run out of that so bought Bounty instead ' at no extra charge '. Might have been nice to be asked if that was ok first as I'm not keen on blended chocolate bar shakes. Plenty of other nice cafes in walking distance and I would go to one of them in the future.

the container that they have all the sandwich fillings are had been left behind the glass where the sun was. There are not in the fridges i wasn't aware of that when I ordered my sandwich until I ask them where they keep them a man (I think the owner ) told me behind the glass counter. This was the hottest day ever. I ate half of my sandwich and put the rest In the bin ! Waste of money and I asked for a refund but the person on the end of the phone abusive !

i ordered a collection and asked how long it would take to cook so i would know when to come in and a woman rudely told me it would take as long as the food took to cook. When i went to collect the atmosphere in the shop was no welcoming. When getting home i realised they had given me the wrong order and have overcharged me. Will not be returning.

Love this place , order for lunch delivery always on time for our lunch break . Lovely staff really accommodating . The milkshakes are the best !! Defiantly a must try !!

Absolutely perfect if you are wanting a take away that isn't the standard burgers, chips, kebabs etc and is a lot more healthy. The sandwiches here are really lovely and always taste fresh. The smoothies are excellent. Deliveries almost always turn up within half an hour of ordering the food.

Phoned up to make a order for delivery and asked for a coronation chicken sandwich and asked if they can remove the raisins he said it comes with it all ready in I asked if he can take them out and he replied saying I can taken them

The milkshakes and sandwiches are the best around. This is my go to place for lunch in Leigh. All the staff are very friendly. Highly recommended.

Came here when I started school as a year seven aged 11 at a school in westcliff and I am still returning as I approach my 22nd birthday. Exceptional milkshakes, such a wide range of flavours to choose from. Staff are always friendly and they are reasonable with prices! Just fab!

I love their smoothies! Other food items a little on the expensive side. However they deliver! Great for grabbing a quick takeaway breakfast. Nice staff.

Today was the second time of visiting in the past two weeks to purchase a milkshake for my daughter. Yet again, young staff who are very friendly yet have little awareness of food hygiene which has resulted in me feeling the need to share on here today.

I have visited Liquid Flair on numerous occasions and every time I've been extremely impressed with the quality of food/milkshakes, cleanliness of the shop and general friendly reception which I always receive whenever I go in. I must say Sam is a very polite young man and runs the shop very well and has an excellent team working for him who I enjoy speaking with whilst I wait for my food.

i went here today because i really fancied a milkshake, they have loads! you can even make you own! i ordered an Oreo milkshake, while i was standing there i noticed they also do sandwiches, toasties and wraps, so i ordered a sandwich on doorstep bread. everything was delicious and i will definitely be going back! the service was great, and they gave me a menu to take away and told me that they deliver to you, if you live locally, and if you dont live locally will still consider delivering if the order is big enough. cant rate this place highly enough! thanks liquid flair

We order from work normally and I must say I love the food from here , it's reasonably priced and the staff are so friendly and accommodating !! Milkshakes are so so good !! Really recommend !!

Having taken recommendation via the grapevine whilst visiting family in the area, I have no regrets at all. Great value, easy going grub that is just cute. Seriously cute. We need a food place like this where I live. The staff are amazingly friendly and have a fantastic air of casual professionalism about them. It's fair to say that they've nailed it. I have been ordering from Liquid Flair for a year now. I order my lunch from them and every day its on time and always fresh and tastes amazing. sometimes i treat myself to a shake and they are always so good. To good some times..The staff is such a great crew and are always very friendly and professional. I have nothing but all great things to say about the staff. I would recommend them to anyone for a great meal and friendly service..

I have been visiting and ordering deliveries from Liquid Flair since 2012 on a weekly basis. Upon arrival I am always greeted by friendly staff who are more than happy to help. Deliveries are on time with the food never arriving cold or ruined. The huge selection of milkshakes are delicious making them a real treat! They seam to be adding new additions to the menu all the time such as Sams mums homemade soup and the growing range of smoothies which are all to die for.

I eat here regularly and have to say it's my favorite sandwich shop in Leigh.

Often come here with my younger siblings and treat them to a milkshake (make sure you pick up one of the loyalty cards as you can get a free milkshake or coffee when it's filled). They have a huge selection of chocolate bars and biscuits which the kids get to choose from, which they enjoy... Banana and Oreo is a personal favourite. I have had lunch here a few times now and am always impressed, good portion sizes and a great selection of fillings. The kids usually split a sandwich as the sizes are large for them and the milkshakes are very filling. For winter there are home made soups on the menu which are delicious and in summer they have new things like goats cheese couscous salads so there's lots of options depending what you fancy. Hoping the goats cheese cous cous salad will be back this summer!

I use this shop on a regular basis and have always enjoyed the food and service from this establishment , however I ordered my food this morning and had revived in promptly which was great but unfortunatly something had accidently been put in my sandwhich which I have an allergy to.

Being called liquid flair and advertising smoothies you would expect a lot more from this place. But disappointingly from the option of limited 5 to choose from, they all just come in a bag out the freezer and straight into a blender ready made. Not impressed sadly.

On a weekend visit to see family and brought the little ones in. We all ended up having shakes and lovely sandwiches. Really recommend for around here as great value and great service.

I love this place I can honestly say I have had the best milkshakes from here. The food is also very nice and great value for money. The staff are very welcoming and helpful and you are never waiting long to be served. This is my regular now for a light lunch whenever I'm in leigh. MUST TRY !
