Went here with 2 friends for a festive treat, easy to book via Facebook, all ready when we arrived. Lovely decorations and a very friendly welcome and service. Food was plentiful, home made and delicious. Only criticism would be it was a little cold- wear a big jumper, we had to finish in our coats!

My girlfriend and I came in for breakfast recently and had a brilliant time. There were plenty of vegetarian breakfast options beyond the norm which was wonderful. I had a full English which was delicious and very reasonably priced for the amount of food there was. The service was friendly and very quick. The food lovely and filling. I will definitely be coming back again.

Ordered 2 sandwiches and 2 hot drinks for 12.30. Turned up at 12.30 to be promptly given (contactlessly) our order and 2 steaming hot drinks. Quality bread, generous fillings and well presented. Felt like a real treat sitting on the seafront with our takeaway on a sunny Saturday. The other thing that is worth mentioning is how "covid safe" the experience was. Masks were worn by Tracey and Evie and the whole thing was contactless as they have a table across the door. Brilliantly done, its a local business and it was yummy too.

Due to covid,my mother's day treat for mum was cancelled, so today was our mothers day tea. We had a lovely selection of fresh sandwiches on both white and brown bread, all delicious. This was followed by a fabulous selection of cakes which were generous size portions with "warm" scones served with traditional clotted cream and jam. We also had 2 pots of tea and a latte. We weren't rushed, it was a lovely relaxing afternoon tea and we left with our tummies full and a box of uneaten cakes. Thank you team Evie for a lovely afternoon and Terry....fantastic ham!

We went to Evie’s Parlour for lunch today and sat outside on a lovely little table. The Club Chicken and BaconSandwiches we had were delicious - well filled and fresh cooked to order - washed down with a huge pot of tea. Inside was really busy but social distancing was adhered to. On the governments “eat out to help out” the bill came to less than £8.00. Would definitely recommend Evie’s.

My Grandson made a surprise visit to my husband and I on Monday and he brought a huge Afternoon Tea as a present for our 30th Wedding Anniversary from my son, daughter in law and children. I cant tell you how delicious it was. The sandwiches were so tasty, cakes delicious and scones were huge. We could not eat it all so finished the cakes and scones off today. 2 really full up boxes of goodies. I would recommend Evie's Parlour 100%. Once it is safe to do so we will visit the restaurant in person. So if you want to treat anyone for a special occasion please go and look at Evie's Parlour & I promise you will not be disappointed. We are in lockdown but wanted an Afternoon Tea for three, treat for our son's birthday and we chose Evies because it was local and I could pick-up, they also offer delivery. So I picked up five lovely packaged boxes, two were packed with an assortment of sandwiches, one of scones, clotted cream and jam, one of fancies and one of two types of delicious cake, no Tea we had something a little stronger. For two hours, in a sunny dining room we worked our way through a delight of goodies, it was great. So in these difficult times there are some great takeaways from innovative restaurantes, so although they are closed ... they are open for takeaways, don't hesitate.

I love this cafe for breakfast for two reasons 1) most breakfasts on their menu are set prices for breakfast toast/ B&B and a hot drink so your bill is not doubled by just adding these on.2) the breakfast is wonderful - and cooked fresh to order so always piping hot- and its one of the only cafes that I actually eat ( and enjoy ) their sausages .

What a little gem of a place this is. We were trying to go to another place may up the road from here but they were full so we ended up in Evie's and so glad we did. The food was fabulous. I had the smoked salmon and avocado platter and my husband had the haloumi one, both were really tasty and well presented. My daughter had her all time favourite, beans on toast (although she'd never seen bread as thick as its cut here!) and my son had a sausage and bacon sandwich, again on doorstop bread. They were both really happy with their meals. Add in the milkshakes and tea and coffee and we were all in a heaven for a while. Staff were really friendly too. It’s such a pretty place, and a lovely size- cosy but not too small- and the staff are so attentive and friendly. The tea, sandwiches and cakes they put on were so delicious, especially the scones!! Have been here a few times but not for a couple of years and fancied a breakfast so as we found a parking space (and that is rare in Leigh!), we went in. Got a table easy enough and staff were friendly. My wife and I ordered breakfast and it arrived quite quickly but the size was disappointing for the money. It was tasty and the sausage was a 'real' sausage but for 1 egg 2 bits of bacon 1 sausage and some beans plus a slice of toast and tea did make this more expensive than other local places. As I say cant fault the quality but I think the Leigh prices are being pushed a bit too far for the size of portions.

We were originally going to use it for private hire however we didn't have enough people to use the private hire option however we wish we did as the place is tiny. It's lovely decorated very pretty but as I said small. All the tables are on top of each other and the staff were constantly pushing around us to the point we kind of felt like we were in the way. The staff aren't as welcoming as I imagined them to be, it's family run which is nice but no hello welcome or attentive service, we felt rushed to finish and to get out. The staff were miserable but seemed to be giving every other table good service...although it wasn't like we were being rowdy or anything. The afternoon tea was 13.95 each, personally I don't think it's worth it. There is limited selection of sandwiches and the ham was pretty fatty. The tea and coffee wasn't replenished as much as we would have liked and it just really lacked the cute touch that afternoon tea normally has, kind of disappointed as it was recommended and I wouldn't return after this experience.

Even though they were a member of staff down we were not kept waiting too long and when the breakfast arrived it was well cooked and had good quality ingredients and reasonably priced. If I had to say one negative thing it would be it was quite warm and stuffy in the place and the extractor system probably wasn't coping well with all the cooking smells etc as we left smelling rather heavily of cooking.

Visited Evie's today for a friends birthday. Was a very pleasant experience. Lovely place and the staff were very friendly and welcoming. I personally went for a cooked breakfast and I wasn't disappointed! Excellent presentation and the food tasted delicious. I also treated myself to a chocolate milkshake which is made with Rossi's ice cream, that was also delicious! I definitely plan on visiting again and I've already told family members about it!

We recently cane for afternoon tea which was so good we returned for breakfast a few days later. Food and service was exceptionally good and amazing value. Only very tiny issue was that it can become v cramped when full but everything else more than makes up for that. We will be coming back.

Was a lovely breakfast, very tasty bacon and sausages! The tea came in a teapot/tea cup thing with a mini bottle of milk that was very sweet. Friendly people just a little quite for us.

I recently booked Evie's for my friend's baby shower and it was fantastic. We hired the whole cafe on a late Saturday afternoon and 20 people sat very comfortably at well presented tables. The food is fantastic and the owners couldn't have been any more accommodating to our various dietary requirements and menu changes. We

Came here last Monday, for breakfast, and was really impressed. Top quality food and more than generous portions. I had the breakfast omelette, which was filled with fat tasty sausages and really meaty bacon. Returned today, with friends, for afternoon tea. Sandwiches were delicious- thick slices of beef, proper ham off the bone, smoked salmon etc. These were followed by very large scones and then beautiful cakes. This was all complimented by unlimited tea. What a lovely little place this is. Go, you won't be disappointed.

We have been to Evie's a few times and everytime it has been fab. The breakfasts & lunches are lovely as is the laid back vibe and decor. I've been with friends, my boyfriend, with my children and ordered a takeaway & the only negative thing I'd say is my takeaway jacket potato wasn't as nice as usual - however I've been back since! I definitely recommend visiting Evie's if you are after somewhere child friendly in Leigh, I recommend it to my friends often!

Evie's Parlour Private Hire - today we attended Evie's for the after party of my nieces Christening. It was fantastic, from start to finish. My sister had decided on the afternoon tea option, but wanted it in an informal way for the guests. The tables and chairs were placed around the edges, maximising the space! Sandwich platters, cakes, scones and clotted cream and jam along with tea, coffee and soft drinks were presented beautifully, using cake stands and vintage tea sets. Everyone had a fantastic time and the staff were amazing, chatting to guests young and old! Definitely recommend for private hire!

Visited Evie's for the first time this week with a friend and my baby. Really lovely interior and yummy food. The waitress was really lovely and helpful (very accommodating with the pram and offering highchairs). The only downside is that they don't have a baby change table (because washroom is very small), so I had to change my baby on top of the loo seat! Saying that, the toilet was very clean and freshly decorated so it was OK (but a little awkward!). I will definitely go back, but sadly due to the no baby change situation, it's not somewhere where I'd chose to lunch with my 'mummy friends'.

Me and the better half popped into to Evies Parlour for a late breakfast on Sunday. She had the eggs benedict and i had the english breakfast. She said her breakfast was nice but not amazing and my breakfast was kinda average, the sausages were very nice though the bacon, despite having no obvious fat seemed to have a lot of interconnecting fat on the each piece of bacon. we both had poached eggs which looked liked fried eggs, i appreciate the fact that this is a matter of aesthetics but poached eggs should be more rounded/tear drop shaped.all in, with a soft drink each, it was £17.00, which is a tad more than i would normally expect to pay for breakfast. On the price front, despite not having it, i was a tad suprised that they charge 10p more for a white coffee than a black coffee. Ive traveled a lot and eaten and drunk in a lot of places but ive never once seen anyone who charges extra for wanting a splash of milk in their coffee.if i had my way i would give evies parlour 7 out of 10 but due to the way tripadvisor scores i cant do that and sadly evies isn't a 8 out of 10, so, sorry but I have to give you 3 out of 5

Visited several times. Always a good experience. Chill ambience. Friendly, helpful staff. Tasty, freshly made food. May be the best coffee I've had locally. Freshly ground. (Had 2 cups.) Today we ate bowl of fresh leek and potato soup (Todays soup. Need to check flavour on the day) with croutons and baguette. Avocado and halloumi on sourdough with red onion, tomatoes, rocket and chilli jam. All presented attractively and very tasty. Previously had other dishes - all good. Also, really allergy aware for those that need it.

Superb breakfast. Food was hot and the plate wasn’t swimming in grease like some other places I’ve been to. Friendly staff and quick service.
