Had large cod n chips and as always they were really lovely with a nice crispy batter too and bottom!! Staff are always very friendly and efficient. Thank you.

We sat out in the gazebo which was lovely there’s was no wait for a table. Staff were nice and friendly. Food was amazing especially the Korean bbq tacos!! Highly recommend!

Had one of the best roasts that I have had out this year. My partner had the steak pie, which was also plentiful, tasty and well presented. Will certainly be returning with my family.

Lovely food but if you have a small appetite order from the child's menu. Very generous portions. The staff were friendly and helpful. Definitely will be going back.

We popped by here for a pint after a long day out. We parked in the large, free car park and made our way inside. We settled at a table just above the pool table area and I ordered our drinks at the bar as you do. Our barman was quite quiet & reserved - I guess we were obviously newbies even though my parents were brought up not so very far from here. After the one pleasant round of drinks and with the arrival of some noisy & energetic local pools players we decided to take off again. All OK.

Recommended to us by wife’s hairdresser and we were certainly not disappointed! Made welcome and had excellent service with high quality food from the Easter Sunday Lunch Menu. Will certainly return soon as this is now our ‘go to’ place.

Love it there always get great friendly service and a delicious panini and the coleslaw is all home made and fresh on the day, chilli jackets lovely,as is the prawn one, best poached eggs on toast, & delicious choice of fresh scones.. always leave them a little thank u note, perfect for a lovely earl grey and a snack while watching the world go by or meeting with a friend.. couldn't wait for them to re open again after lockdown...

True taste of Thailand totally blown away with the food , close your eyes it's the same as when visiting Thailand, not for people in a hurry,but great who want the real thing and lots of it as the portions were large enough to have a tsk away box , I've tried many in mid suffolk food 10/10 locations 8/10 dining room 8/10 staff 8/10 albeit the chef brought our food out personally (nice touch) need to book for satisfaction

We recently spent 6 nights at this hotel. We had originally planned to stay 4 nights but added 2 more nights as we were really enjoying ourselves. The hotel was the main building and outside rooms. Our room was the standard double but large very clean with all the amenities. The breakfasts were excellent, buffet or served depending on what day of the week. Evening meals were in a smaller bar style restaurant. Meals were first rate All the staff (Reception, Breakfast, Evening meal) were first class and credit to Best Western. The local area was beautiful. We both would love to return. RECOMMENDED!! 5 star.

Nice pub inside but average food. You have to order food at bar - even dessert and get your own drinks from bar. Not good if walking is difficult! I wouldn’t return. Prefer Fox and Hounds.
