A really nice local pub and one of the best in Ipswich. The service is always very good. There's a good selection of beers and cocktails, although a few extra local beers and the occasional switch up would be great. The food is definitely above average and with a good and frequently changing menu, plus with some slightly unusual dishes. I've never been blown away by the food but always come away happy and full. The only real down side is the main restaraunt area is quite echoey and so can be extremely loud, but the outside area is really well done and just a generally nice place to be.

Came here for dinner with my friends recently, great food spot with amazing service and lovely cocktails and the venue is so beautiful

Lovely meal for my husbands birthday

First time visiting here and the food was absolutely delicious, could not fault it. Enjoyed a 3 course dinner. The service was second to none, very friendly and attentive. Will most certainly be returning again. Highly recommend a visit.

New to the pub but Lauren and Elle were the perfect hosts !!! Elle cooked our Pizza,and honestly,it was the best I've ever tasted !!!!!

A great place for lunch, with views across the estuary. Great walks along the coast and plenty of benches to sit and watch the boats go by. There is also a passenger ferry to Felixstowe and Harwich. Unfortunately you now have to pay for parking, though it is free for 3 hours if you buy something in the pub (and register your car).

Very disappointing, I had the prawn cocktail for starters and it was very salty. Fish and chips for mains was cold sent it back to go in microwave. Dessert was lovely had the Eton Mess. Once we got the bill was very expensive for the average food. Won’t be going back.

Buffet was quite nice. Good choice of savoury dishes. Well-suited for vegetarians.

Great little place👍 My boy's are 6 and 3 every weekend they go can we go back to the swallow, Definitely recommend the soft play, it's nice that you can sit there and see them. The lady who is normally at the desk Nadia Very lovely and very friendly😊 she does it all on her own always here there everywhere

This café is housed in the Mansion House museum and occupies the old scullery area. There is also outside seating in a small garden. The service was great and it was an interesting place to sit, but the coffee wasn’t the best. Probably better to have the tea.
