Best Indian takeaway in Ipswich, delicious as always.

All good apart from the onion bhajis which were not cooked properly. We tried 10 minutes in the oven but that didn't cook them enough either. A disappointed partner as a result.

food always arrives hot, on time and presentable. We were slightly disappointed with the onion barjis this time, they were undercooked. But definitely will be ordering again

Driver called to say he was at door, went to check and there was no one there. Called driver back after trying several times and he was at wrong address, food arrived 20 minutes later and it was cold.

Normally really nice from here but both curry's we're watery and didn't have usual flavour.

Vindaloo was cold and not spicy at all, korma and both rices were all cold aswell.

Our food was supposed to be here between 19.30-20.00 , and was delivered then changed to 20.25 after the food was delivered,as we got a notification at 19.30 saying it had left the restaurant as you can imagine it was cold when it arrived, it was also just left on the cold floor outside my house , very disappointing

Food was later than expected (1 hour and 40 mins in total). Food was cold, meat was dry and naan breads a bit burnt

Driver was so rude - just decided to dump it on the street outside the blocks, then when asked if he could bring it in, started swearing down the phone and took the order with him. Apparently the driver was the manager.

Incredible food! The Ceylon I ordered was flavoursome and warming, cooked well with lovely tender meat. Lots on the menu to choose from, portion sizes were great, prices were competitive (especially with Cheeky Tuesday) and delivery was on time. Very impressed, can’t wait to order again. 😍

Everything was spot on apart from the keema naan. Very thin and wispy keema meat 🫤

Normally good from here. But food ridiculously late. Phoned them multiple times and they kept hanging up on me. Still waiting for food over an hour late. Cant comment on food taste because it’s not here. Probably cold though let’s be honest.

Another good meal but the naan was probably not made today. However I will use them again.

Placed an order online at 21:20. Called with delivery instructions at 21:30 to be told they wont be delivering. Took them another 20minutes and 4 phone calls to then actually cancel it. Avoid!!!

This was our first order here at this venue and we were very pleased with the food. We were however a bit surprised with our vegetable samosas that were a tad “spice”warmer, than we expected. Each container was full and more than enough. Apart from that small matter with the samosa, very good indeed.

Great food as normal but we didn't get our plain naan with our Chicken Balti

Underseasoned, very bland including the 'hot' curry, more like a mild. Sauce just tastes like pretty plain tomato. Bombay aloo just taste like plain potatoes with very little sauce on. No seasoning in sight. No spice, no coriander. Not good enough to eat more than a few bites of, throwing the rest away and going to order from Eastern Spice. Rice tastes plain, as does the curry. Some parts are vaguely sweet but there's no other distinguishable flavour.

Best curry house curry I've ever had. The hot bowl was excellent (noticeable but not unhandleable heat from the ghost peppers), the passanda was complex and not too sweet, the biryani was good and the lamb tikka in it was fantastic. Definitely ordering again!

Very prompt, lovely popadums and chutneys and rice. Korma was a bit of a letdown.

Ipswich Tandoori is by far best Indian restaurant in Ipswich. Food and service is first class and it’s my family’s favourite take away meal . Beautiful food at a good price what’s not to like .

This was for a birthday. My kids said that jar curry had more flavour and the Biriani was way too salty. Disappointing really. The bread was nice!

Food good but one dish was slightly undercooked.

Food was tasty but the curry could've been a bit sweeter. Also had a stale poppadom. But overall it was good size portions. A little luke warm also.

Poor quality and bland food. Three of our different dishes tasted and looked the same. Have had delicious food from here a few months ago but won’t be going back. Very disappointed.

I rarely write a review, but let me save you!! Bland, Brown and Oily, each of the dishes was the exact same shade of brown, the Chicken Chat, Bombay Potatoes and veg curry tasted exactly the same, The Chicken Tikka Ceylon's main seasoning was salt. I normally order from Maharani, I will again in the future.

Foods were excellent, service was outstanding, but I never seen an Indian takeaway do not add salad and papadoms. It would be a great if they did.

Food was awesome, less oil, gently spicy, we enjoyed more than expected.

With out a doubt the best Lamb and Chicken Tikka dishes in the all of my nationwide travels. The flavours where spot on, the texture superb. I have yet to experience such a momentous mouth watering experience in 15 years. Well done!!!!!!!

Ipswich Tandoori restaurant cooks and serves up amazing food every time. Service is amazing and they read your special requests to make your food how you prefer it. Tonight’s vegetable madras had fresh coriander garnish and was delivered on time and hot. Good food and came promptly the only complaint was the food not being piping hot

Only really trust this restaurant on just eat as it can be hit and miss, although this is the first time they got our order wrong but within 10 minutes we had the correct food at our door. Really good service.

Delivery was very good We were disappointed with the lack of flavour in the sauces too much heat and not enough flavour The naan bread was good, the onion baji was floury tasting, the samosa was ok... All of It was edible but unfortunately not very tasty Disappointing as it was a Birthday treat

Main dishes were ok ( not the best I've had) rice was lukewarm and naan bread was wet and doughy, won't be ordering from that particular place again

Top notch Indian food arrived piping hot and on time. Perfect tandoori mixed grill with nan bread. You can choose whether or not to have the salad and mint sauce that normally goes with it so there's not the usual waste. The lamb jalfrezi was hotter than expected which slightly overpowered the lamb flavour. The fish was lovely and mild in a delicious coconut sauce. Portions are good, much appreciated by hungry people. Will use again.

Anyone who uses just eat knows how dodgy it can be. I ordered recently from another restaurant and they missed 3 items! So I am apprehensive to use just eat again however... 2nd order from here and the food was hot on arrival, missed nothing even a friendly delivery driver. Best Indian I have found so far! I won't ever be worried about ordering from here. 10/10

Food was 45 minutes early which is nearly an annoying for us as being late as we had only just got home. Food was ok curries were a good flavour but the meat was not of the best quality.
