The best restaurants serving British food in Ipswich East of England

we randomly found this lovely quaint DOG FRIENDLY cafe called Pickwicks of Ipswich. The food was yummy, prices were decent, staff were lovely and they even treated the pups to a dentastix 😋 #ssspetcare #dogsofinstagram #pickwicksipswich

Always a pleasant place to go with good food and service. Our favourite is the beef stew and dumplings this you can't beat on a cold day.

We stopped for lunch as in Ipswich on business. Lovely find, love the extra touches, seemed like a super friendly family business where they want to exceed expectation. Good choice of food and really yummy. Loved the cucumber water too. Will def go back next time we are there!!

Je voulais manger un très bon fish & chips et j'ai demandé à la patronne du b&b ou je logeais si elle avait un adresse à me conseiller Sans hésitation elle m'a répondu :ici! J'étais un peu hésitant mais en fait le F&C était tous simplement délicieux avec des frites bien goûteuse (j'en ai pris une deuxième portion...) Bref à conseiller sans hésitation (ou moins pour cela!)

Been coming here for years. Great home made curries at reasonable prices. A bit off the beaten track but well worth a visit.

I’ve been coming to this very small coffee shop for a couple of years. The service is excellent they only have six tables but it is far more personal than many of the nearby cafes The menu is a fairly good selection of sandwiches and light meals including breakfast Ideal for me when attending football matches as it’s quite near the ground I will continue to enjoy this wonderful shop for another season

Fantastic 3 course meal perfectly cooked, amazing turkey, perfectly presented. Great service from everyone there very attentive and great fun. Would highly recommend for a meal out and great location especially if seeing a show at The Regent, I'll be back.

A fabulous old stately home with a fine dining restaurant, made special by the wonderful staff who are attentive and friendly. Ideal for couples and clearly perfect for weddings with 30+ rooms on site. Check out the Long Gallery, which is a spectacular space that's jaw dropping on a sunny afternoon!

A great place for pre- and post-match beers, with a great atmosphere and a great range of beers and offers on shots. Karaoke on Sundays too.

Nice to where I used work run the pub nothing changed

Expensive Portuguese supermarket. It doesn't have any gluten-free or lactose-free choices. And the staff didn't know what it was.

Dropped in for tea and cake, lovely visit. Lots of work going on at cafe. Garden centre lovely too
