Been coming here for years. Great home made curries at reasonable prices. A bit off the beaten track but well worth a visit.

Just home having had two excellent curries--Patsy is ace cook!! Curries rated from 2 ( mild) to 10 (stinger) so pick the heat preferred. Also good choice of English, eg. liver , homemade sausages , lamb shanks. All cooked to order. Good choice of beers etc, and Mark makes a mean Pimms, perfect for this heatwave. Outside seating too. Pub run by husband and wife, Mark and Patsy. Their pride in the business really shows. Always locals in to chat to too ! Tonight holiday makers from Dorset, who are staying locally had found them !! A real English Pub with great food. Highly recommended.

This is a family run pub offering a huge menu with something to suit most diners. Good sized portions of food, very friendly staff & excellent value for money. Only drawback if you need it, is poor internet signal! Would definitley go back again when in the area.

The Queens Head looks very nice from the outside, however, if you are expecting a warm & friendly welcome, I would recommend going elsewhere. The food, and the price were ok, but the owners were rather frosty and unhospitable. I will definitely not be recommending it to anyone.

Have been going for years and standard of food never alters. All curries are made by landlady Patsy and have "danger ratings" from mild to very hot. Many accompaniment's available too. If not feeling like a curry then a good choice of home cooked English dishes. Defy anyone not to find something to like on the menu. Generous portions too. Keep this in mind when ordering a pud!!!! Landlord Mark serves an excellently kept pint This is an old building serving great modern food. Big car park. Real fire in bar in Autumn/Winter. Locals friendly. Well worth a visit --we can guarantee you will return!

I had a fantastic experience here! Only cost £5 pp which included a very generously sized drink, and once in, it's a very friendly atmosphere and really chilled out, which gives a good opportunity to socialise and chill with the people you've gone along with. The actual pottery options to paint are all very well priced too and there's a great variety (and good selection of paints too). Overall, a great trip that was enjoyed by all - never done it before but we will certainly be returning again. Thanks :)

We went again yesterday. This time with our son and his family. Julian is the most welcoming host you could wish for. He always finds time to talk about his native Calais, and his knowledge of music from around the world. Thank you for making us feel so special. Elaine and Michael

Went to the new Kennys cafe that has just opened on Hawthorn Drive, today at 3 pm.The only customer sat at a table. One worker was cleaning behind the counter and the other was chatting away at the counter to 2 young girls.I looked over and he looked over, for exactly 1 minute and 5 seconds. I then walked out. Obviously the 2 young girls were more important.

A must try. Loved the whole experience. No menu and describing what you want is incredible. Got exactly what I didn’t even know I wanted and was very satisfied.

We stopped for lunch as in Ipswich on business. Lovely find, love the extra touches, seemed like a super friendly family business where they want to exceed expectation. Good choice of food and really yummy. Loved the cucumber water too. Will def go back next time we are there!!
