Je voulais manger un très bon fish & chips et j'ai demandé à la patronne du b&b ou je logeais si elle avait un adresse à me conseiller Sans hésitation elle m'a répondu :ici! J'étais un peu hésitant mais en fait le F&C était tous simplement délicieux avec des frites bien goûteuse (j'en ai pris une deuxième portion...) Bref à conseiller sans hésitation (ou moins pour cela!)

Tengo que admitir que la comida y el alojamiento eran insuperables. Gracias por hacer que mi experiencia Kelly's fin de inigualable ... x

Tuvimos una comida deliciosa. Pescado y patatas fritas cocinado a la perfección. Gracias, Kelly. La compañía también era bueno.

What a mistake staying here. Room was bland and lacked any imagination. Clean but looks worn out. Food served eventually and was luke warm.Give it a wide berth

Queríamos tomar mi padre para una buena comida de domingo en Ipswich para celebrar su cumpleaños. Después de mirar en varios sitios de TripAdvisor nos sentimos las críticas de los viejos tiempos eran geniales. No decepcionaron. Nos hicieron sentir muy bienvenidos. Los niños estaban bien atendidos, incluso niños tamaño cubiertos. Comida muy sabrosa. Nos gustó la opción de domingo para llevar diferentes tamaños. Los niños tuvieron un niño y aquellos con un tamaño más grande apetito podría tener el almuerzo. Había una buena selección de verduras y la comida estaba bien preparado. Todo el mundo tenía un plato vacío al end😀 También había una buena selección de postres. Ya he recomendado a otros miembros de la familia que vive en la zona. Muchas gracias.

Menú limitado no estaba mal, pero era el mejor que he tenido no mucho donde elegir en la zona así que estaba encantado de comer allí el desayuno mucho mejor y muy agradable

After our meal here in June I booked the dining room for my husbands birthday meal .22 of us sat down to eat the table was beautifully laid out with fresh flowers,the meal was delicious there was beef pork and chicken all the veg was fresh ,roasties were crispy mash was smooth yorkshires huge every one ate up nothing left on anyone's plate .the puds were heavenly home made crumble sticky toffee pud or choc pud home made pavlova .the men were in heaven as lots of custard !it is a lovely friendly atmosphere .and great staff team

We had an evening meal and breakfast. Large portions and couldn't fault the service at all. Highly recommended.

Creí que lo intentaría en diferentes para "antigua » comida típica. Eso es lo que nos dieron.El personal bastante amable, pero ha perdido una estrella para no escuchar cuando me dijo que por favor no poner determinados artículos de comida en el plato que no puede comer ... salió con la comida con que el tema en ... redimida por hacerlo lejos y saliendo con una fresca plato no vaciado en otros lugares como han hecho en el pasado.Con tantos lugares para comer en Ipswich no creo que volvería de nuevo ya que no es nada especial pero sin duda no está mal ... depende de lo que quieras

This is a dining room to go for a glorious home cooked meal .we went for my friends birthday we all had a very good meal and fab puds.the coffee was superb ,we were all very impressed,so much so I have booked the dining room for my husbands birthday .can I say any more to recommend it .apart for lovely service very friendly atmosphere .

Celebramos el 80 cumpleaños sorpresa de mi madre fiesta en la antigüedad Tea Room hacia finales de abril. Teníamos sándwiches, pasteles, té y café para más de 30 personas, todo casero. El personal no podría haber sido más servicial, tanto ayudando a preparar la fiesta y durante; incluso atendieron para gente que había necesidades dietéticas especiales. Es un gran lugar para reunirse con amigos y familiares sin ser demasiado formal. Mi madre se reunió con viejos amigos y pasamos el tiempo de su vida; algo que recordará durante mucho tiempo.

I'm not quite sure how long this place has been open in its current capacity but I know I've been searching for it for the past three years! Food is top notch. I had delicious freshly prepared fish and chips and peas and a mug of tea. Just lovely and all reasonably priced. I wanted to finish the last three chips on my plate but my tummy was beaten (would've probably tried a dessert, had it not been for this factor). I'm actually writing this review whilst utilising the free wi-fi, which is a massive bonus for me, as I often like to go somewhere for a bite to eat by myself, and just enjoy the environment like it's an extension of my own living room; which is, traditionally, the function a pub has served for many guys for centuries. As a woman, I feel this place ticks both boxes. One side is a cafe/restaurant, and the other, a traditional boozer. Perfect for any company, for any meal of the day! My personal jackpot winner comes in the form of Bramble - a beautiful, elderly black lab. I'd add 'shy' to that list, except that adjective becomes void when the food comes out: she obviously appreciates its value! Bramble is led away when customers are eating, though, so those a little wary of dogs in eating establishments really don't need to worry. It's my first trip here but I already wish to be a firm regular. :)

Went for a family meal at the Old Times Guest House. Possibly the best roast dinner I have ever had. Dining room is nicely decorated and spacious. Had a drink in the bar area afterwards. Staff were attentive and welcoming. We would happily eat here again.

4 of us went to the dining room at the old times guest house for my boyfriend's parents anniversary meal. Firstly I was shocked by how beautiful it had all been done up inside, the bar area looked really welcoming and they had a good selection of drinks. The man who served us at the bar was friendly and we were soon welcomed through to the dining room, but were given the option of where we would like to eat (dining room or bar area). The dining room is nice and intimate, again nicely decorated and there was some nice background music during our meal. There was a really good amount of options for mains and dessert, and the price of these were really really good so I was pleasantly surprised. I say this because the portion sizes are really good and all the food is made from scratch using proper ingredients. There are however no starter options on the menu, but you don't really need these as the other courses are a really good size. I ordered the mushroom stroganoff with Dauphinoise potatoes and It was really delicious. I then had the banana split for dessert and that too was delicious but admittedly I had to get my other half to finish it off as was so full from the good portion size from my main. All the rest of the group were also equally as happy and full from their meals. The lady who served us was very nice and friendly, and I believed she was the person who cooked the food too, so big credit to her. I would certainly say if you haven't been before you should try it, we liked it so much that we have actually booked our Christmas day dinner there for the whole family!

The dinning area is very clean and well laid out so tables are not on top of one another. The food was homemade and very tasty and fitted in with one fussy eater in the party.

There are no dislikes to give. I liked the service and the food and the eating area. I am quite happy too eat there again.

Perfect place to relax after a busy hard working day,the staff make you feel welcome and at home if i lived alone and i wanted good company and food i would make a bee line here most of the week,they have various selection of drinks and good home cooked food,they even have an ice cream parlour,on a summers day grab an ice cream as you are walking past or just grab one and sit on the seats outside even though its by the road side its been a good place to watch the red sunsets,if you have friends coming down to stay in Ipswich and want a guest house to stay in then get them to try this place out they will love the home made cooked food.we did and looking forward to our next visit tomorrow !

We've had three different meals here recently and all have been faultless,firstly we had Cream Tea(in the tea room) with a lovely home made scone,then a few days later we had,along with four others,an evening meal(in the dining room),which was thouroughly enjoyed by all...and very reasonable prices too...and yesterday we had the 'Full English'(again in the tea room) which ranked among the best we've had and you get Marmalade,jams and even Marmite to put on your toast,nice touch...great staff,well worth a visit...

We have been here for Sunday lunch now on many occasions & loved every one. We are also fortunate to live close enough to take advantage of having home cooked cakes, deserts & ice cream available to take away. Certainly no diet going on in our house.

We arranged to meat our family at the guest house for lunch at 2pm, although they had never been there before, our family were greeted in a friendly and pleasant manner. We were running late (as usual) but when we arrived our family were seated and had been attended to as they needed.Lunch was as always (we are regular diners) tasty wholesome and REALY home made, not just proclaiming to be so. This is a still a relatively new venture and considering Easter Sunday was very busy the service was very good and the atmosphere friendly and efficient.

Booked for Mothers Day lunch, were not served our food for 80minutes after our booked time, kept asking how long the wait would be and were told 'it's being plated up' which is no surprise that when the food did finally arrive it was barely warm & hardly the nice lunch that I wanted to treat my mum to. Our desserts were all served at different times. No apologies off any of the senior staff apart from a young girl waitressing. This place was recommended to us, but I certainly won't be passing on that type of compliment. The quickest thing that happened all afternoon was them handing over the bill.
