Brewers Fayre Swallow in Ipswich

I wasn’t expecting much of a Sunday Lunch Carvery, partly because of the very reasonable price. Wrong - it was good. The meat was flavourful and tender. Yorkshire puddings especially nice. I would have preferred a hot plate to be honest, but that aside, I really was pleasantly surprised.

Desert was spectacular!! Rhys was an amazing server, he made the experience a 10/10 with his charismatic charm and quick and speedy service! Definitely would come again

Rhys and Kieran were very good servers they accommodated me very well and very well composed and organised. 10/10 would happily come again

Very good dessert was on point and customer service was very good. Waiter was Rhys Marshall 10/10 service and was very friendly and helpful.

Unfortunately the table & menu’s were sticky, the food was nice but the staff were not as attentive as you expect, considering I had to ask for cutlery, the salt and the correct meal.

Went for my surprise birthday which my girlfriend had set up, the food was very good, great facilities for the children and Lewis was very helpful at the bar and serving all the food, overall very accommodating

Popped in for a late lunch, was lovely afternoon after we had been shopping in the morning, Lewis ( I believe he may be the manager as he was wearing different clothes to the waiters/waitresses) was exceptionally lovely, I’m quite a picky person so going places I can usually tell that people are sick of me asking for things removed but Lewis was very understanding and accommodating to all of my needs! Will definitely be returning!

The staff are all amazing, I can tell he’s new but Newton is really good on the bar and very confident, he kept a smile on his face at all times and overall we had a great experience

I have a large family with many different age groups, The Swallow is a great place to meet up for Lunch, relaxed, great staff, service is fantastic, food is reasonably priced and good. Lewis, Natasha and all the staff are friendly and helpful.

We came for the soft play and some lunch. Tasha was so friendly and great with my 2 year old. She went out of her way to make us welcome and checked in to see if we needed anything when we had our lunch. We could see her cleaning the play area before we went in too. As my son is under 90cm, his entry was free. The meal was reasonably priced, for £6 you got a child starter, main and dessert. We also got an unlimited soft drink. Thank you Tasha! We will be back again soon!
