The best restaurants serving British food in Broxbourne East of England

Disappointing that the ale choice is very limited, if you don't like AK Mild then not worth a visit. This could be a fantastic little pub with a good choice of ales but instead is stuck with standard fizzy lagers and nothing else. McMullens should do better.

I felt so sorry for the staff as they had to ask me a load of questions and ask me to sign on preventing liability because I am lactose intolerant- I wouldn’t mind but they didn’t even have alternative solutions wtf?!!!

Really relaxing environment with so much decor to look at. Comfortable seating. Staff were so naturally friendly and welcoming. Very quiet.

Couldn’t fault a thing! Food perfect. Great service lovely lunch. Highly recommended and will be returning in the near future

The best pie and Mash Shop ever came from Walthamstow Market which I use to go every Saturday even when I was a child my parents all eat there .

Harrison and hoole staff are brilliant they are all great and friendly we will missed them soo much me and dad and my other half always enjoy food and drinks is lovely it’s such a shame they are closing bad move shutting it down we are gutted 😞😥😥

Awful place to get breakfast as they don’t even greet customers who are black but have the nerve to have the upmost respect for others.

Great vegetarian brunch in warm and friendly cafe near lovely Lea Valley Park and close to Cheshunt station

Do not arrive before closing time ( 2pm ) as you will be left carrying your drinks around standing up outside!!! Not worth an hours travel. Was hoping to spend more money here but being rushed and feeling like an inconvenience we will not return! Sad as we were told good things about this place before experiencing it for ourselves! If it were me id let paying customers sit inside and be a bit more hospitable for a potential return another day but wish i hadn't bothered!

Modern built clubouse for the golfers, with a restaurant and bar, with outside seating. Very reasonable prices and a fair menu. Staff are helpfull and efficient...as title, a good place after a strenuous walk!

No takeaway so i camt eat it at mine but cheese

Went to the Galley Hall for lunch, very large portions and tasty wholesome food. Good service and a nice place to visit for a pub lunch.

Nice place for a quick bite to eat after shopping.
