Do not arrive before closing time ( 2pm ) as you will be left carrying your drinks around standing up outside!!! Not worth an hours travel. Was hoping to spend more money here but being rushed and feeling like an inconvenience we will not return! Sad as we were told good things about this place before experiencing it for ourselves! If it were me id let paying customers sit inside and be a bit more hospitable for a potential return another day but wish i hadn't bothered!

Fantastic organisation and cause. Now with a small fundraising shop and cafe situated at the old police station in Hoddesdon. The jailbreak cafe is a great stop for delicious coffee and cakes, very reasonable prices with outstanding and friendly service. Keep up the great work.

Brilliant themed cafe, utilising the old police station infrastructure, seating in the old cells, or the exercise yard and the serving counter is the old charge room counter. Good staff, and themed named drinks, and some good sandwich options.

Highly recommend this pub for lunch, so accommodating of my request to be seated at a round table. We had a lovely pre birthday celebration and get together with friends, as the service & food were excellent. A big thankyou to all staff.

College RoadToday wasn’t just my birthday — it was a celebration of life, love, and pure gratitude. At 26, I was told I may never reach 30. Diagnosed with an inoperable brain tumour and told I’d never become a mum, I never imagined I’d be here turning 46 — surrounded by love, laughter, and the most amazing people in my life. We spent the afternoon at The Crocodile Pub and honestly, it couldn’t have been more perfect. The atmosphere was spot on — relaxed, welcoming, and full of good vibes. The staff were lovely, and the energy of the place just made us feel at home. And the food? Let’s just say the nachos were next level. Genuinely the best we’ve ever had — fresh, loaded, and absolutely delicious. Being there with my best friend, her girls, and my miracle daughter Ruby made it a day I’ll never forget. Thank you to everyone at The Crocodile for making today feel extra special. I’ll definitely be back… and next time, I’m ordering the nachos all to myself! With love, Lisa Connell

Theobalds LaneIt's a great little cafe that services good food, it's not going to win awards but its fresh, hot and tastes ok. The coffee is good, the star of the show is thier hot chocolate with the extras.
