Another absolutely brilliant dinner in a warm, cosy, quaint restaurant with great atmosphere! Fantastic home made, home cooked food, hot and tasty, good portion size, served by lovely staff delivering excellent, friendly, efficient yet unobtrusive service! . Can't fault the place. Consistently great!

Called in unexpectedly on our way to Thursford Show, was recommended by a local, had never been here before, would definitely go again!! everything was good, all freshly prepared and a very reasonably priced! We also thought we had left my husbands phone here, and they looked for it whilst I called them, it wasn’t there but again nothing was too much trouble. Thank you very much!!

These guys do Amazing Toasted baguettes, They have a load of fillings to choose from, too I got tuna and cheese the first day and today I had Roast chicken, bacon and stuffing it was really tasty and filling! I really recommend them for your breakfast or lunch 😋 Reasonable prices and their customer service is lovely, thank you for my toasted baguettes whist I was working in the area! They where delicious They also serve flapjacks and other treats too all home baked in the shop 👨‍🍳👩‍🍳 Thank you again Wow!!🥖🥓 Oh and they also do hot drinks which are really nice, such a good spot to grab a bite to eat and then chill outside of one of the many churches in the area 😁

We have been eating from Platters since the doors opened many years ago, always fresh and tasty Sandwiches, Baguettes, Soups and Jacket Potatoes made to order not pre-packed. Never had a bad one and always good value for the quality you get. The Chicken Bushfire Baguette is my favourite and is out of this world! Just the best. Even if you just nip in for a cup of tea or coffee and a slice of cake you will not be disappointed!

My friends and I left happy and no longer hungry, it’s a great place for lunch and perfectly greasy for a fish and chip shop.

Absolutely exceptional, as usual. I really cannot fault this establishment. It looks unprepossessing from the outside, but has an excellent ambience inside, lovely staff, and wonderful food. I cannot think of a better restaurant that I have visited in this country. If you are in, or near, Wells-next-the-Sea, you must give it a try. The only people who might not like it are those who do not like fish! It is a fish restaurant that gives a nod to meat-eaters.

Canadian Style Didn't expect 'Poutine' means meat and chips in gravy at all. We always thought it charges extra because it's a ciabatta sandwich with chips as a side. I should have read the reviews before coming, my bad. The sandwich is okay. At least it's a hot sandwich. But the pork cracking was a bit too hard for teeth. I strongly suggest you biting it really slow, you know, Canadians' way. The Poutine is very salty. The chips became very soggy because of the salty gravy. We failed to finish the dish. Not sure about this Canadian style. But the service was good. Clean environment. Price was reasonable in Cambridge town centre.

Had a meal here this evening after a visit to the Christmas Spectacular in Gt Yarmouth. The food was top notch and worth every penny. If you’re looking for quality food, a great service and reasonable price you really need to try this place. Would highly recommend.

Popped in New Years Eve without booking. They offer a table a little later or eat at the bar. We took the latter and enjoyed a super gluten &dairy free fish & chips and vege meal. So great to see dedicated menu for my dietary needs. Super polite and helpful staff, very pleasant venue. We will be back soon!
