The best restaurants serving British food in East of England

Great to see this pub pen again.

Took the family for dinner here twice during our stay in great Yarmouth, the food was fantastic and the staff were brilliant and extremely reasonably priced (I'd have paid double n still been happy)

Visited here for a second time , booked with friends and had a meal , enjoyable time .Could not fault the meal , served well , service good , polite helpful staff .

Fish was nice as were the battered sausages, chips were ok BUT what spoilt it was the wait. Half a dozen customers in front of us and took literally, and in not exaggerating an hour to get our order. Nippy where I'm from means fast and this was far from fast unfortunately. Not worth the hour wait.

Dirty tables, staff who clearly had never worked behind a bar before, gin and tonic no lemon or lime, run out of branded glasses… really poor, come on it’s not that difficult!

Really surprised by the bad reviews. We enjoyed a great fish and chip meal - tasty, well cooked and not at all greasy. Our food was cooked to order. We didnt have to queue despite it being a Sunday afternoon in July. The only down point - only Pepsi available and no coke.

Absolutely great. The food was great and the dessert of lemon panna cotta was amazing. Every mouthful delicious. Say no more

Came here for a breakfast, was served promptly and politely. Food was tasty, even better they serve sausages from archers so your know you’re getting quality for your money 👌 10/10 will be visiting again.

First rate Christmas Lunch with the Gentle Circuits Group from the Leisurezone. Could not fault a thing. Just been for the carvery today and it was excellent.

We had a stunning Sunday roast here, one of the best I’ve ever had. The food is on the slightly pricier side but this is totally reflected in the quality of the produce and the care taken to flavour and present the food to the highest standard. We were extremely happy and will definitely be back!

Very friendly staff. Excellent fish and chips. Will return next year when back in the area.

Dedham Hall, wow how special did we all feel. A warm welcome and a cosy lounge with the log fire burning and comfortable seating. Our meal was delicious, a 3 course dinner with after mints and coffee made for 6. A 80th birthday made very special by Jim and Wendy and the young helper.

First time here. Really excellent food. Perfect flavours.
