Best fish and chips we have had. Been coming here since I was a child and still just as good. Lovely staff and brilliant food.

What a great place. Fresh fish and chips even 20 mins to closing cooked Fresh fish for us. And made cardboard trays for us when we said we were journeying on, so.that we could eat them easier on our laps. Really friendly and helpful with great food.

I drive across town just to get my chips here, they are so good! I’ve tried other so-called ‘best chippy’s’ in town, but they don’t come close! They are consistently good as well. I’ve been coming for cod and chips for the past 16 years. Always fresh, juicy and delicious! And such a friendly bunch too, just the best!

Quite nice cod and chips although cod batter was a little greasy.

This place is friendly, the food is lovely, and the curry sauce is the best. We always go here for fish and chips. It was recommended by a friend and it's local to us.

First time going to Hot Stuff. Perfectly cooked Lovely large piece of Cod and regular fries and good value. I use to go to Martlesham chippy not any more. Thank you Hot Stuff for a perfect meal.

So I’ve lived round the corner of this shop for 4 years and today was my first ever time trying it out (and certainly won’t be my last!) I'm very fussy with how I like my fish and this was not too much trouble for them, they went above and beyond to make sure it was how I like it. Only downside was there was TOO much food I couldn’t eat it all in one go, so that’s my dinner sorted for tomorrow 🤣 Would recommend 100000%

Hot Stuff is amazing for Portion size, Taste, Customer service is second to none and of course no Bones..I am getting a collection of people wanting me to get them Fish and Chips from this Family Buisness so i dont mind doing the delivering leaving the Staff to get on with the superb cooking and making sure all customers are Happy. Always a busy shop, but the food turnover is always quick and fresh. They even go to the trouble of d-boning the fish which is worth its weight in gold!! Only place to go for Fish and Chips. keep up the good work

Got back from holiday with my husband and really was too tired to cook. It was getting late, so I suggested a takeaway. So we nipped down the road to HOT STUFF FISH AND CHIP SHOP who had an offer posted on their window. Chicken and chips-£3 it read. Wow...what a Brucie Bonus. We hurriedly made our way in and made our order. 2 x chicken and chips please I asked. Customer relations was really nice. Very friendly. Anyway, our chicken was cooked whist we waited and a new batch of chips sizzled away nicely in the fryer. We said our thank you's and goodbyes and darted off home to hastily unwrap our tea. My chicken was unbattered and my husbands was battered. Oh my word...the chicken was beautiful and succulent and the chips were made from new potatoes. My husband and I couldn't stop praising our chicken and chips. It was delicious! If I had to score our meal it would certainly get 10/10. I highly recommend this eatery and it doesn't cost a packet. Great taste and easy on the wallet. What more can you ask for?

A proper, traditional chippy. Clean and uncomplicated. Value for money is excellent with generous portions. Be careful of the large cod, it really is Jaws on a plate! Everything is cooked perfectly. Very good menu choices whit lots for people on a tight budget, also the OAP lunch is available all day. Good opening times too. Staff are friendly and helpful. This is my chippy of choice.

This chippy being my local one just gets better and better, especially now they are using New Potatoes. Came here as we were rather late to cook anything at home, so sausages and chips for me, and a large bag of chips for my mum and dad - freshly cooked and lovely! This is how it should be - traditional Fish & Chip shop which is British through and through. Great Stuff!

I've never had any bad or even half decent food from here. It's always been excellent, hot and plenty of it. Also, there's not many places where you can be served by a couple of Speedway legends! The Louis family may serve up half decent Speedway but the Lanham's serve excellent food!

Este es mi "fish and chips" local en Ipswich, ya que viven cerca, que solía ser regular, pero con el tiempo ha ido mejoró un poco. Como ir allí a veces (especialmente después de trabajar -cuando no quiero cocinar) para un bocado para comer, el tamaño de las porciones son bastante buenos, el único problema es que me dieron muchas fichas para una pequeña porción, pero para lo que pagas no me puedo quejar. La comida es bastante buena, normalmente te sirven bastante rápido - no hay mucho más que decir!
