The best steak I’ve eaten! Martin and his team are amazing as ever, from the friendly service to the delicious food. It truly was the tastiest steak I’ve eaten…and as a table of 5 with 4 steaks wanting to be cooked differently, ever steak was perfect. Thoroughly recommended!

Absolutely fantastic local pub, we have just moved to Dedham and this place is truly an absolute highlight of the village. Friendly staff, relaxed atmosphere. Kids and dogs made to feel welcome and still a proper 'pub' vibe for the grown-ups. Unpretentious menu, top quality food and excellent beers. We LOVE the Marlborough.

We come here every week and we love it ! Love our Thursdays and the best thing about it is the staff ! Laura has become our regular face on a Thursday and she’s so welcoming and knows all of our usual orders hehe ! She’s the best !

Had the Pizza, cooked to perfection, lovely refurb and delightful staff 100% recommend! Outside is 100% what you need in the sunny weather!

The person who worked there never wanted us there and accused us Exeter fans of leaving the toilets dirty when it was only a roll of toilet paper on the floor that could of just been picked up but this worker banned us Exeter fans going into the pub

had food from here a good few times but this time very disappointed even after they replaced the order sorry won't be returning

£39 for a 3 course Sunday lunch or £36 for 2 courses?! No veggie roast dinner option although I was offered frozen veg sausages or just a load of veg. It was VERY expensive for an average service and an ok meal. The carrots were hard and no green veg but other than that it was ok just VERY expensive for what it was. Also the front.l of the building needs some attention, entering is quite depressing with peeling paint etc Also we ate in the bar and a local came in and was chatting away to the bar man and frequently swearing at high wasn’t pleasant

Excellent food and great service. We were a very large group of 20, only booked the night before and they accommodated us well. The staff were lovely and very patient with us! The food was brilliant. Thank you!

Went to see a UB40 Tribute band only to be told it wasn't going ahead as there car wouldn't start not very professional won't be going back there in a hurry

yesterdays Lamb was delicious, the vegatables were on point as was the service, not a clean plate in sight. good puddings, we retired to the bar to wash it all down with good selaction of beers and really tasty cider.

Booked a table for our family and friends for dinner last night and really glad we did: the pub was packed! And no wonder, the meal was superb. They have changed up the menu, keeping the traditional old favourites but adding in some interesting new dishes. I had the falafel which was delicious. The rest of our party had burgers and chicken goujons. Everyone agreed that the food was fantastic. Sam and the team were brilliant, as always. So happy this is our local.
