The best restaurants serving British food in East of England

Me decepcionó un poco después de la cena. Teníamos estas buenas experiencias en el pasado con un menú limitado y unas cenas. Esta vez era todo menos, mucho menos para ser sincero. ¡Vamos chicos!

The place is really nice, wood and brass, classy. Food was fresh and good portions. Service was good as well.

A good interesting menu and really lovely food. All members of staff were friendly and helpful, which made it very relaxed.

Only had a drink but London Pride was well looked after

Friendly delivery man. Lovely chips but the fish was a bit dry and overcooked. I’ve had nicer from this fish and chip shop in the past!

Had my husband's Wake there. We was looked after so well, especially Ray who was very nice actually all the staff were lovely. Went in 2 days later for evening meal with my son and his girlfriend, again Ray was lovely and all staff who was looking after us. Definitely recommend this pub and we will be going back

We had a family meal and everyone agreed this is a place you want to repeatedly want to come back to. The food was excellent quality, great tasting and a decent sup of ale.

Welcomed for lunch with our 3 dogs thank you Dave for your attentive service. Recommend Sea Food Platter great value very fresh and tasty.

Lovely pub, beautiful peaceful garden with views across fields, locally brewed beer not crazy expensive, had a lovely evening! I didn't eat on this occasion so can't review the food but I seem to recall it being very nice a couple of years ago when I did!

Just had a family of 8 Easter Sunday lunch and we were all blown away by just how lovely every meal was. The setting by the river is gorgeous too. There was so much lamb and beef on our plates we had to take some home... food was all freshly cooked and the cauliflower cheese was sublime. Deserts we're enormous and the sticky toffee pudding with ginger snap was a lovely end to a fantastic meal. Service was wonderful too, so thank you all so much. We will definitely visit again.

Great for a meal with friends and family. Dog friendly and an extensive menu with everything made from scratch. Blends old favourites with adventurous dishes. A real find

Staff with bad attitude!! Rang up around 5:30pm and were told we didn’t need to book we would be fine as a walk in as we weren't sure exactly what time we would get there. We arrived to be told there is a long wait for food, ordered 4 Pepsi’s which were all flat, we complained and the waitress never returned, she told us that there were 3 food items were unavailable on the menu, 30 minutes had passed so I went to the bar to swap my drink, got given another flat one so asked for a bottle out the fridge. We had waited at the table for over an hour for the waitress to come back to us to finally take our order to tell us that there were only 4 options left and they had ran out of food. We chose to leave, they wanted payment for the 4 flat Pepsi’s (only one got replaced) which we refused as we had waited for over an hour (9:30pm by this point) to be told there was no food, we raised the issue to be given attitude by two ladies behind the bar, they said ‘they need to prioritise bookings first’, surely you take orders in the order people arrive?? even though they told us we could walk in no problem and never thought to tell us the food had ran out during the time we were waiting, we were so hungry from being at the race track all day. The table next to us had half of their order missing and were still sat waiting for the rest of their food when we left. Awful, thank god we’re not locals!
