Brasserie in Huntingdonshire

Just had a superb Sunday lunch with my father at this very hospitable public house. The roast potatoes were amazing and just like my Mum used to cook. Great food, good beer, and lots of traditional pub atmosphere to absorb. Loved the WW2 history board for the local airfield that once existed.

Our first time visiting here, we came for a celebratory lunch. A very beautiful place, and clean. We sat in the conservatory area which was very spacious and didn't feel crowded. We dined from the A la Carte menu and everything we had was very well presented and very tasty. We couldn't fault anything. The staff were very attentive friendly and smart. We will definitely return here. 5stars all round. Thank you again to The staff for making this a special day.

Not a great place, poor selection of beer, lady behind bar was not so welcoming. some friendly locals had some nice advice of the most popular ale out of the 3, so the locals were friendly. A lovely fire and in a nice location, but again, I felt like a foreigner in my own country.... I guess Bath is foreign, lol. Not for me, but hay, it could have just been today?

We've been coming to Wyton Lakes for several years and this pub was always a firm favourite with good food and a lovely welcoming atmosphere. Sadly since the pub changed hands the food wasn't as good but it was still a nice pub to visit. Today however, we had a bad experience with a rude barman who basically "told us off" for taking a seat at a table in the empty restaurant at 5 o'clock and for ordering our drinks at 'the wrong bar' after I had unsuccessfully tried at the front bar for about 10 minutes! Sadly after 7 years of visiting the pub this unfortunately will be our last visit.....very rude and condescending barman!

Fantastic rustic village pub, lovely sized bar area, restaurant and outdoor area. Games and TV zone is a nice touch. Nice selection of beers to choose from and an excellent chef in the kitchen. Highly recommended and worth a visit
