Me decepcionó un poco después de la cena. Teníamos estas buenas experiencias en el pasado con un menú limitado y unas cenas. Esta vez era todo menos, mucho menos para ser sincero. ¡Vamos chicos!

We have been to Prevost several times as a couple or with groups of friends. The service is always simply excellent, the food courses and drinks are spectacular. My favourite is the smoky bacon old-fashioned. I like the very light decor with the birdcages at each end. It really comes to life on a sunny day. The quality of the food and the cooking is superb. I must admit that I was a little worried when Lee Clarke left, but the restaurant is in safe hands with new head chef (Ricky) . Such a jewel in the Crown, highly recommended indeed.

Stopped here on our way home from holiday. I had beef roast and my husband had lamb. The best roast we’ve had for ages. Lots of beautiful veg cooked to perfection. The Yorkshire pudding was delightful and all tasted homemade. In addition, it came with cauliflower cheese. Loads of meat. My husband then had apple crumble, he loved it. Will definitely return. Staff extremely friendly too

Called in for lunch and was told they are not serving food at the moment, no explanation given even after I asked if they only did food in the evening. Had a drink and some peanuts and left, won't bother again.

When my husband sadly died in late August, there was no need for discussion as to where to hold the Wake ……. obviously it was going to be The Jolly Sailor, Ramsey, David’s preferred drinking place for over 40 years. In his latter years he was even afforded his own seat next to the bar. If someone was in it when he arrived, they were politely requested to move. Stacey, the new Landlady, very thoughtfully placed a photograph of David, together with his pipe and cap, on the seat for the duration of the Wake. Stacey was most helpful and accommodating and arranged a Wake far and beyond my hopes and expectations. On arrival there was a warm and welcoming atmosphere and the food and presentation was exceptional - the quality, variety and amount. Many complimentary comments were made. She, and her wonderful staff kept the table topped up and glasses full unobtrusively and efficiently. In fact they were firstclass throughout. I would wholeheartedly and without reservation recommend this lovely, atmospheric, friendly and welcoming establishment to anyone looking for a venue in which to hold their event. You would have to go a long way to better it.
