Enjoyed our all day breakfast. Decent selection to choose from. They were short staffed but didn't have to wait long at all for our food. Very tasty and will pop in again when in Melton.

Well what can I say, we came to a wedding tonight and the venue, food, staff and DJ was absolutely fantastic, if you ever want to book a room for your occasion then look no further than Brooksby hall, you won’t be disappointed.

Dropped in while in the area and had a lovely cake and coffee. Staff were friendly and the cafe area was clean and tidy. The choices of cakes was great and it was hard to pick but we had the cheesecake and it was lovely. The hot food looked great. Farm shop is a nice little.bonus to visit and there are animals too. Lovely spot to drop in on. Was busy so looks like a regular hotspot.

Recently moved to the area and can’t praise the staff enough, Reasonably priced drinks, and whenever we’ve asked to watch a particular sport , they’ve put it on for us.

The Thatch is a fabulous place - the setting, staff and food are fantastic and it’s one of our favourite places to go. Never disappointed. Beautiful decor, fantastic garden at the back to enjoy a relaxing drink on a spring/ summer evening. Food is always fab. Cannot recommend highly enough

A friend of mine suggested I went with him to see what I thought of an eatery he had found. On Easter Saturday we ventured to Paul's. I am a doddery old bloke and was delighted when the young lady who greeted us went to considerable lengths to make sure I could safely negotiate to the bar area and get seated. Our drinks and menues were soon with us and I was spoilt for choice, and delighted. When the food was ready she took the same care leading me down to a well appointed and spotless room with a very pleasant feel to it. I had opted for the pork, apple and black pudding on bubble and squedk and I certainly ended up squeaking with pleasure at taste and texture. I had to try Paul,s pannacotta for pud and it was a fantastic end to lunch with a cup of fresh coffee and a chocolate to send me out as a very happy old man. To sum up everything was first class from start to finish and I cannot wait to go back to try the lambs liver.

We ate at the Cheney arms on Sat 15th. The Pub is in a charming location, Has a proper bar and delightful staff. We had 1 x Bread/Olives starter. 1 x mackerel and 1 x Burrito Chili mains. 1 x Eaton Mess. The starter and dessert were excellent. The Mackerel had lots of potato and green salad with one very small fish fillet. The Burrito had only a modest amount of Chili filling. We had 2 x Glasses of white wine and 11/2 pints of beer. The bill was for £71;95. ( A 250ml Wine was £9;95 ) We enjoyed our visit to the Cheney Arms. Paul Reynolds.

Charming pub offering distinctly superior steak and chips, and a variety of burgers. Several cuts of steak were available. Our rump steaks were tender and well-flavoured, cooked accurately to medium rare as requested. Very thick cut chips were beautifully chunky and crispy, with fluffy potato inside. A smooth Malbec was available to go with them. For meat eaters only.

I had a bacon & fresh tomatoes cob. Nicely done. Sue had toasties with salad. Complimented by a strong pot of tea. Lovely experience. We were invited to sit in the garden area at rear of cafe. Very clean & private. Friendly staff & we were made very welcome. Thank you.

Had lunch with friends. There were 5 of us. One member of our group was in a wheelchair and the staff were very accommodating. The food, service and atmosphere were very good. Many thanks.
