The Odd Clock Cafe in Melton

Enjoyed our all day breakfast. Decent selection to choose from. They were short staffed but didn't have to wait long at all for our food. Very tasty and will pop in again when in Melton.

On a roadtrip from Leeds to Bournemouth we'd decided to refuel in Melton Mowbray and had earmarked The Odd Clock Cafe. The owner was warm and welcoming, spending time to talk to our children about why they have so many clocks in the cafe. She made us feel like regulars and we'd go back just for her kind nature. We ordered, three breakfasts and come pancakes. The food is proper home cooking and was enjoyed by all. The big daddy mega breakfast is ridiculous (in a good way) and was probably a bad idea as I still had nearly 4 hours of driving to do and it hit me like a train later that day. The Odd Clock Cafe is a proper old school cafe and if she teleported the place to Leeds I would no doubt put on 5 stone.

My favourite café in Melton Mowbray with the best breakfast. Fast service, friendly and helpful staff, a welcoming place with a variety of different ages of customers, dog friendly and super tasty food.

Yes just a cafe but it does everything right - nice clean interior , friendly staff , efficient service , reasonable prices and above all good well cooked food. Nothing more to say.

Great food at a really reasonable price, super service, clean and nothing was too much trouble! Highly recommend a visit if your in Melton, they do the best breakfasts and have gluten free and vegetarian options available.

I enjoy coming to the odd clock for a breakfast. But they also have lots of other Yummy options on there menu. The odd clock cafe is very clean, have nice food and lovely staff. Highly recommend

Took our granddaughter there last week, one a fussy eater. Nothing was too much trouble. Beautiful freshly cooked food.

Loved our lunch here yesterday - nice big portions, friendly service, great price & the sticky toffee pudding was delicious - defo recommended 😊

2nd visit here because it was so good 1st time. Quality sausages, great choice, friendly staff. Really good.

We had a really good traditional breakfast here while visiting the area. Although cooked to order we did not have to wait long and the food was perfectly cooked. For £6.95 each we had the large breakfast which consisted of 2 bacon, 2 eggs, 2 sausage, beans, tomato, mushrooms and a choice of hash brown, chips or sautéed potatoes, together with toast and a drink.

We had breakfast here a Sunday morning, and it was really nice. The staff were lovely and the cooked breakfast that my partner had was freshly prepared and was well above average because of the nice bacon and sausage. I had a bacon and egg sandwich which was also really nice. Coffee great too! And all at reasonable prices. The place is spotless, the staff friendly and the food nice - what more can you ask for on a Sunday morning!
