Pizzini in Melton

This Coffee Shop has just won Melton and Rutland Coffee Shop of the Year. Following their runner up award last year. A great accolade for a great little place. On Thursday, Friday and Saturday evenings it becomes a late night pizza parlour. (Take away). It rivals any others in the area. Pizza also available all day. Made to order. It just goes from strength to strength.

We much enjoyed our delicious tasting meals (omelette and pizza) and excellent coffee. Only wish we lived nearer so that we could eat here often! We received a friendly welcome from staff and felt relaxed in the cosy ambience of the cafe. Menu prices are great value - the same meal in our part of Oxfordshire would cost twice as much!!

Stopped by on the way to Grantham. We were a little early, and it hadn't quite opened yet. That wasn't a problem, though. Lovely Bacon Sandwiches and Coffee. The cakes looked amazing, so we had to take one for the journey. If you're 6 along the A52 past Bottersford, it's well worth stopping by for your refreshment break.

Having a miserable day and stopped at Pazzinis for a sandwich and a coffee, was tempted by the Absolutely delicious homemade lemon possett, Got to be the best dessert I have eaten yet❤️ The B&E butties was good too. Found on the Bottesford High street .

Me and my dad went today , was amazing, my dad had a pizza with chicken and pepperoni and said it was the best pizza he had had in ages. I had a margarita and it was amazing. Couldn’t finish mine so they gave me a box to take it away in. Great service and was quick :)

My favourite place for coffee and cake or a delicious breakfast! Always met with a warm welcome. The cakes are incredible and there’s always so much choice!

Popped in half way through my working day for an afternoon pick me up. The owners were fantastic and so welcoming and the place was very clean. Walked out with one of each homemade cake and they all were fantastic. The Cookie Dough cake was amazing. Will definitely be back soon.

First time visit to Pizzini Bottesford and it definitely won't be the last. A very friendly and comfortable atmosphere and a welcoming hostess. Delicious hot chocolate and capachino complemented by homemade mouth watering chocolate brownies. Faultless - we'll be back.

Placed a large order today of varying breakfast butties for work which went like an absolute dream. Staff at pizzini checked the order through beforehand and the food was labelled up and ready to be collected at the arranged time. We all thoroughly enjoyed our food and can’t wait to do it again. Lovely visit here. Milkshake was fairly good and a lovely sized portion of Bourbon biscuit brownie. Sausage and bacon baguette was enjoyable but a little greasy. Fabulous avocado and courgette cake and nice coffee! Overall would recommend:))

We were in need of a coffee having spent a couple of hours at the fascinating, local church of St Mary, and decided to try the coffee shop at Pizzini, Bottesford. We're so glad we did. The menu was good (more extensive than we might have imagined for a small coffee shop) and the food, when it arrived (shortly after ordering, and freshly-made) was outstandingly good -- high quality restaurant standard. I treated myself to a slice of cake, too, and wasn't disappointed. Sadly, we don't live in the area but, if we did, we'd be willing to travel a fair distance to re-visit regularly. Highly recommended.

My Partner and I popped in while waiting for a Doctors appointment. We had two Hot Chocolates, a toasted fruit bun and a Bacon and Brie Panini. They were excellent as was the friendly service. Fabulous place, will go again.

Stopped at Pizzini on a cycle ride today and ordered the chocolate orange cheesecake which was divine! Others in our group had the brownie and toasted tea cakes. There was a great selection of cakes, coffees and teas (even decaf). Well worth a visit.

Ordered two pizzas for takeaway. Very disappointed,pizza bases shop bought and tasted like cardboard and undercooked. Toppings over spiced and had no flavour.

This place is excellent for families, couples or just for a pop in for a coffee. Popular with locals, visitors and cyclists. It us by far the best coffee shop in the village.Friendly staff, good service. Has worked tirelessly in the village providing a take away menu since March. Once again fully open as well as providing takeaway menu.Extensive menu. Full Englush Breakfast, lovely panini, burgers, salads, cakes are to die for. Pizzas are second to none. A very important part of the community. Providing great service.At good prices. Good value.

We visit Ralph and Theresa regularly at Pizzinis. We've never had anything but perfect food and our son is a huge fan of the milkshakes. Friday night pizzas are also a must in our house! Excellent service, we would thoroughly recommend a trip.

Very unfriendly, sharp to the point of being rude. Very disappointed in the pizza as it was a frozen base. Thought he would of been able to produce fresh food. Won’t visit again.

I would fully recommend Pizzini in Bottesford, very friendly family run business with great customer care, top class. We ordered four pizzas for the family to enjoy our Saturday night lockdown, the pizzas are very good quality, really tasty and great value for money !. The kids loved them. We will be using them again.

After being closed for several weeks due to the corona virus, Pizzini reopened for takeaway! The owner and his wife were ready behind the counter with a smile for I’m sure would be an extra-ordinary day in the cafe world. Boy was it! I arrived and they were both busy with what looked to be order after order after order. Their phone was ringing constantly with more orders, yet their calmness and professionalism didn’t stop once. I rang my order up before my visit as their Facebook page recommended to do so, so I wasn’t waiting for my order of delicious sausage and onion chutney panini and my piece of Eton ness cheesecake (I was one of the lucky ones as my friend went 10 minutes later and it had sold out already at midday!) Just shows how scrumptious the cakes really are and the quality of the home made baking of the wide selection of cakes and treats. I would highly recommend going to visit Pizzini, not only to support our local businesses at this strange time, but because the quality of food and service is second to none and I will be putting my order in every week!Thank you Pizzini for being THE stand out cafe I have every visited.

This is a fantastic place for a meal or a snack.I have stopped here several time sand never had anything other than first class service and first class food.Last time I had coffee and cake then a piece of 'rocky road'. It is so good you cannot believe it.Price? No higher, in fact, less than the 'chains'.Looking forward to the next visit.

Went to Pizzini whilst on a bike ride. We decided to sit outside; the staff were very welcoming and friendly when we ordered our food. The cappuccinos and the brie and bacon paninis were lovely. Would recommend to all.

A regular for Friday night Takeaway of Pizza and wedges. The pizza is exceptional and the wedges are scrummy. Pizzini is a relaxing place if you want to enjoy a cup of coffee, the delicious home made cakes and read a good paper. I would also highly recommend the burgers and of course the Panini's. Ralph and the team are always friendly, very helpful and a good atmosphere.

Probably the worst pizza I have ever been presented with. The owner was totally disinterested in any level of customer interaction. Worth driving a little further for something of quality. Just dire!

Pizza dough not as light and airy as Mum makes, but a good pizza and lovely garlic bread - will certainly go back again.

We cyclists love bacon baguettes and there is nowhere better than Pizzini to enjoy them. Ralph and his family are excellent hosts, always friendly and welcoming. The cafe is always clean and service quick. The menu is pretty comprehensive so plenty of choice, and always a wide range of delicious desserts as well. Try it!

The manager was very obnoxious and rude. I'm not sure if he was having a bad day but we decided to leave after interacting with him. If I was in this area I would advice avoiding this establishment.

My daughter and went in for breakfast and the owner couldn’t have been more helpful. The menu didn’t say what was included in the breakfast and when I asked he said everything but I asked about fried bread but he didn’t do that but that wasn’t a problem. My breakfast came and it was huge and plenty of it including black pudding(which I don’t like unfortunately)which doesn’t usually come as standard in other places. We both enjoyed our breakfast and would visit again.

First time here having stopped off on a cycle ride. Very friendly service and great tasting sausage sandwich. In fact one of the best I have tasted. Also a full pot of tea for two that provided several cups. Will definitely stop by again.

Bought a couple of small pizzas and burger from here. 7.50 for a small pizza that was truely awfull. Not good value. The base was premade poor quality and the toppings not very good. The burger was ok bit dry though. I wish i'd gone to the co-op and bought a frozen pizza for half the price and much nicer. At least dick turpin wore a mask.

We cycled by and deciding to stay at the cafe for Pizza. Very disappointing, heavy base, poor quality ingredients. We have travelled all across Italy and this left us very disappointed.

My wife dragged me to pizzinis knowing I disliked pizzas. However how wrong can anyone be. The pizzas were absolutely delicious. Previously I had only been subjected to chain takeaways. No comparison. This spotlessly clean café is situated in the village of Bottesford offers a good range of food. Can't wait to visit again. Well recommended.

I use this place regularly as a cyclist with a bunch of very discerning mates for proper refreshments - bacon and egg bap, panini or whatever you fancy along with the coffee is for me the best in the Vale - highly recommend!

We have visited here several times. The first time we went we were very impressed with the service, food & overall atmosphere. Never ever question that we wouldn't go back!! The food has come up to expectations every time & the service slick & friendly. The menu will suit all tastes & the homemade cakes are delicious!!

This was the second time for tea and cake at Pizzini and we were not disappointed. The man who served us was very helpful and friendly as was his wife on the previous visit. The cake on both occasions was absolutely delicious and fresh. The establishment looks clean and cozy. I did notice another couple had ordered an omelette and salad and when it arrived it looked and smelt delicious. We will definitely make another visit.

Pizzini is a truly wonderful independent coffee shop and cafe! The premises are spotlessly clean, the proprietor and staff will bend over backwards to assist and the beverages and food cannot be faulted, with ingredients of the highest quality. I would also add that the coffee here is the best coffee I have had the pleasure of experiencing here in the UK.Pizzini offers a large variety of options from the menu, ranging from full English breakfast, sandwiches, baguettes, panninis, burgers, omelettes, baked potatoes, salads, kebabs, home made pizzas and a delicious range of cakes (many of them home made). There are also a large variety of hot and cold beverages available. As well as having seating inside, there is also a small seating area outside. On a nice day, you can sit out with a coffee and a slice of cake, and watch the world go by - most relaxing!

We visited here for the first time 3 weeks ago when we had some unexpected visitors.there menu is quite extensive from paninis, sandwiches, and there trademark pizzas, these pizzas are second to none, absokutely delciious, we had a pizzinu special and a pepperoni pizza, there was 6 of us and we had the 12inch deep pizzas. Excellent value. Staff of friendly and gelpful and the service is good. Great place to take tge grand chikdren for a treat. The onky difficulty is parking you have to park in tbe road. So watch your children. Nice seating area outside under cover.

I live in Bottesford, and many of my friends support Pizzini. My family enjoy the takeaway kebabs, always good value, served with a smile- recommended!

Pizzini is a lovely small cafe with friendly owners and excellent lunchtime food including panini, sandwiches, etc. Service is prompt and the atmosphere is always good..

Lovely little place - could be awkward for parking at certain times but we never have a problem Owner very friendly and a reasonable selection of food and cakes on offer. Quite small with just a couple of tables outside.

Ralph is always such a pleasure to talk to and makes fantastic omelettes! You need to try them! Kids love it here too. He always makes us feel welcome!

Popped in here with the Grandchildren for coffees cakes and soft drinks for the children. Our first visit, but what a find, the friendly service couldn't have been better, even the Grandchildren commented on how nice the staff were.The choice of food, quality and service were top class, we'll be back.

Popped in mid cycle ride on our way to Belvoir, situated perfectly on the national cycle route 64. Staff were very friendly and service was excellent. We ordered coffee and toast which was bought outside to us promptly, great coffee and lovely seeded bread. Will definitely be visiting again, now we know it we'll be planning more bike rides in this direction.Highly recommended.

Calling in for a well earned coffee, we were very surprised we had not visited more often. Four mouth watering gateaux were looking at us from behind a glass cabinet....... Unspoken words/ lettering on them trying to say............ Try a slice of me....... Which l hastened to say we did. Very friendly place which must be visited.

Nice homely, family-run coffee shop. The coffee is excellent (my favourite in the area) and I'm a bit of a coffee snob as is my wife. Scones full of fruit, cakes to die for and I defy anyone to order the breakfast and get through it all!! All at very good prices with friendly service.

Have been for a coffee very nice so thought we would go for a fry up couldn't fault first one I've been to where you were served three slices of bacon very nice breakfast indeed and you get plenty would recommended to anybody that is passing by wish it was open on a Sunday morning

Great place, a real little hidden gem. Have called quite a few times now and always had excellent food, coffee and service with a real smile. If in the area wouldn't dream of calling anywhere else for a break in my journey.

This lovely family run coffee shop is a gem of a find. Located opposite The Rutland Arms pub it is an excellent place to meet up with family or friends, serves excellent food and also has a great take away menu. Staff are always very friendly and everything spotlessly clean. Keep up the excellent work.
