Brilliant landlord very welcoming, warm cosy atmosphere, always a lovely greeting from les behind the bar, brilliant garden area which we can’t wait to enjoy the summer in next year! Definitely worth a visit

Wonderful friendly pub which is very dog friendly and serve a Sunday dinner which was delicious, will definitely be back when in the area again.

Completely underwhelming and quite expensive. Small portion and as you can see from the photo, won't be eating all of them! Staff were too busy larking around to get peoples order correct. Disappointed and won't be going there again.

Had a 40th Birthday party at the golf course. Fantastic customer service by all the staff especially Sharon. We had a great time! Would definitely recommend for an event.

Superb people, extremely friendly and helpful. When our food was late we were given complimentary drinks, and when it rained we were asked to come inside, with our two dogs!

Everything was fine till we were asked to leave, when we'd only just finished our meal & drinks. Not conducive to try there again

The food was so nice it came out really fast I loved every bit of it can wait to go back it was one of the best baby showers ever the decor was so good out together but the team at the tearoom the staff was so nice the 2 young girls working there was so nice they was both very chatty they wanted to make sure we was all okay and that the drinks was good and I can’t forget to say a massive thank you to Leanna she was amazing can’t wait to come back hope your always her cuz I love coming in to the tearooms thank you

Only problem they don't sell au vodka so don't use it very often even if it's my local xx

Sin duda un lugar encantador para pasar un par de horas en la noche. Después de haber visitado para tomar unas bebidas un par de veces, y escuchar excelentes críticas sobre la comida, decidimos reservar una mesa un domingo por la tarde a mediados de diciembre. Desafortunadamente, la comida no era genial. Pedí un filete medio raro, que era muy masticable. La salsa de pimienta estaba claramente fuera de un paquete / frasco y bastante poco apetitoso. Mis trozos de patatas fritas estaban mal cocinados y harinosos. Mi ensalada de acompañamiento (extra £ 3 ) se sirvió en un tazón pequeño y consistía en un par de hojas de lechuga gema bebé y unas rodajas de pimienta. Otros en nuestra fiesta pidieron guarniciones (por ejemplo, cerdos en mantas) y todos se sorprendieron de las porciones muy pequeñas por el precio que pagamos. Mi esposo tenía pollo como plato principal, que era duro y masticable y mi hijo tenía una hamburguesa que era insípida, densa y también dura. Cuando llegamos al desierto, nos dieron el menú con una selección de 6 pudines, y luego nos dijeron que estaba todo agotado, excepto el helado de cuajada de limón. Quizás sea porque faltan pocas semanas para Navidad, pero fue decepcionante. Nada de la comida era lo suficientemente malo para quejarse, pero definitivamente no volveremos a comer aquí en cualquier momento tan pronto como las guarniciones son pequeñas y caras y simplemente no fue una comida agradable. Una verdadera lástima, ya que el pub en sí es encantador, y sin duda vale la pena visitar, de ahí mi crítica tiene 3 estrellas. No te molestes en comer aquí.

Myself and my team of travel agent ladies spent a lovely evening at The Lancaster Arms tonight. The pub has been improved over the last few years by the current owners and it’s now a very welcoming, cosy pub with gorgeous outside seating areas. We had the fish pie, the handmade faggots and the special of Duck. The food was amazing, we all enjoyed each dish and the portions were generous. It was a Wednesday night so quiet but that made it feel all the more special as we had the best table and lots of attention from Millie our waitress who was lovely, she was so friendly, really enthusiastic about the food options and swapped ice cream for custard for our desserts. We would recommend The Lancaster Arms to anyone looking for a lovely meal out in lovely surroundings ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
