Brilliant hosts and a great atmosphere: a proper pub.

We booked a table for 7 people today, including 2 children (6 and 7), and we had the roast carvery and of course, puddings! All of the food was absolutely stunning! The staff were all friendly, polite and so attentive. We didn't get a chance to say thank you to the chef for their amazing food, so I'm hoping they see this! My 7 year old son is so fussy with food, but absolutely demolished his meal today. We'll definitely be back! 1 round of drinks, 4 starters, 5 adult mains, 2 children's mains and 7 puddings only came to £190!

My family and I have been using this restaurant for some years now,we have always been looked after by the always friendly staff there. Food is always well presented and the service is always excellent.

The Bulls Head is a local hub for people that want to mix with their friends, have a drink from the varied menu at the bar and watch sport. It doesn’t serve food which is available at other locations within a short distance.

Having recently moved into the area we decided to try the local Chippy as we had heard it was under new management. What a treat. The fish was delicious, chips were thick and chunky and both were freshly cooked while we waited. Will definitely be back for more! There is no phone number for them at the moment but were told this was in hand. No hesitation in recommending. Friendly staff.

Waited to get a table ( place empty) the Waiter sat there on his mobile and ignorant of who walked in. Tables sticky and chairs stained and dirty. Menu had tomato sauce over it. Bananas black and soggy. No decaf tea or coffee available. Awful place

Pub Grub. Good value. Good choice of beers.

Still and would hope will stay a traditional village pub. The restaurant has remained very popular since the most recent landlords and the bar has kept dog friendly and a good range of beers and cocktails 🍸, Freindly atmosphere and outside smoking shelter. It has a function room ( very well decorated and practical for all types of functions , private parties or meetings. There is plenty of parking and also outside tables for that warm and dry day or evening. I can and do recommend this place.

Good proper pub. Music, pool table, darts.

Booked here for birthday meal ( me and the husband). Friend recommended here; yes it was expensive but worth every penny. Honestly incredible service from Will, beautiful cosy place and hats off to the cook. Highly recommend pie and Pan chicken.

Food was perfect 2 starters which were lovely and then venison perfectly cooked for main course . Cheesecake and crumble for dessert were lovely. Staff were great

I've ordered from Toby carvery quick a few times one time I got total the wrong ordered and this time I found the order was stone cold and half of the amount to other order I've had before

Always visit the cafe even when not shopping there.wil go to Asda when they shut.Bad Move
