Palmers cafe was more than what I expected. Food was top notch. Staff was unbelievable catered for my family when we have little one. We had big table with room to put our pram. The price was very good too but the quality was even better. Credit to people who run this place they have done a great job

It's never been the quickest but I waited over twenty minutes for my cappuccino before requesting a refund. From the response the cappuccino was nowhere near likely to make an appearance The staff are good there but the wait times are just getting worse and worse.

Wife and I called in for midweek breakfast. Nice clean and modern decor. Good service. Wife had mushrooms on sour dough bread. No complaints. I had the breakfast. Overcooked egg. Minuscule rasher of overcooked bacon. Very nearly burnt small sausage. Disgusting flavoured , uneaten mushrooms(total different to wife's). Beans were bland. So disappointing. Definitley cannot recommend.

Expensive breakfast for what we received. Shown to our table quickly then waited 10 minutes to order. Large plate but very little on it, one of each item. Nice place to visit for me but for what we received and not particular hot, I’d go elsewhere next time.

Called in for a meal and coffee. Special meal of the day, a steak dinner, very disappointing as the steak strips were as tough as shoe leather and it was an expensive meal for the quantity of food served. Steak strips were served with a small quantity of mushrooms and onions in a bread roll. The scampi and chips were not too bad and the coffee was nice and hot.

Paid £9.50 which I think is pricey for avocado and toast and it came as ONE slice and the rest a big plate of salad… never have I had 1 slice of avocado on toast normally it comes with 2, especially at this price!!! I wouldn’t mind if it was a big slice but it was a normal smallish slice of sourdough.

Wrong side of city for us, so our first visit to Palmers in over 10 years. Soon got seated in the cafe/restaurant. Just wanted sandwich lunch, so good tasty choices. All facilities very clean and tidy. Would visit again. Local Dobbies could learn here about efficient service. Hope Palmers could keep this up on a busier day.

Christmas afternoon tea, disappointing. Service was good, plenty to drink. We paid an extra £2 per person for a cheap Christmas cracker. (£20 pp) Sandwiches had cheap margarine, scones were nice with cream and jam, top tire( cakes) very very small, not home made , stollen mini mince pie, Xmas cake and some horrid chocolate tasting moose, mini jelly custard/ cream in a shot glass . All felt poor quality for palmers as their normal food is great, won’t repeat this experience .

Popped in for coffee mid morning. We were shown to a table and our order for two coffees was taken promptly but we then waited about 20 minutes for it to arrive. The coffee was not very hot when it did arrive. The cafe was busy but there was obviously a hold up either in the kitchen or with the coffee actually being brought to us once it was made. Maybe not enough staff preparing the food as there seemed to be several waitresses.

I'm writing this about Palmers as I can't write a review about the garden centre as a whole because it appears it's not on trip advisor!! So we went along to see the Christmas display 2023. Don't bother!! It's about as u Christmussy as you can get! Colours are obscene! Greys and pinks and even blacks but very few traditional colours! Almost like they are trying to put us off from going! Well done, you have!

Visited at 2.45. Ordered at 2.55. Eventually served two scones tea and coffee at 3 35. Not especially busy and no apology for the wait despite asking where our food was. Tables remained uncleared for the whole time we were there. Customers clearing for themselves as they arrived! No one could have cared less. Never mind - there’s two less customers now to bother them again.

We were visiting the garden centre and decided to get something to eat from here. The place was reasonably busy but we were shown quite quickly to a table. We ordered food and drinks which I had an iced mocha to drink and for food I had the sausage and mash and pudding I had apple pie with cream. Both of theses were nice, the apple pie wasn't the best though, it has come out hot before but was cold this time and the quality was lower. Overall the staff were friendly, service was a bit slow which is normal for this place. The food was generally ok. The place seemed clean.

Unfortunately today the service let it down, there seems to be no order of how they serve you and a bit of a free for all when it comes to ordering food and just if the staff remember to come over to your table. We came for afternoon tea and was not asked once if we would like anymore drinks after our first one was served after being told they were unlimited. We were also waiting in a queue for 15 minutes outside even though our table was booked and I didn’t want to squeeze by everyone as there was no one to ask. The old system was a lot better this one isn’t working unfortunately and the table next to us had the same experience, such a shame because the food was lovely. I had to ask 3 different members of staff for a drink before we finally got one as they kept forgetting. Not a great experience I’m afraid for the price we paid.

We stopped here for something drink before we had a look around the garden centre. The place wasn't overly busy, we had to wait to be seated. We sat down and after a while ordered our drinks and cake which you have to pay for straight away. After a few minutes we were told they didn't have any of the cake and limited amount of items left. We chose the millionaire shortbread instead. We had to chase for this and the tea/ coffee we had ordered as it did take a bit of time. Some people had been waiting quite a while for drinks so got the manager to give them a refund, There were a few other people that had a long waiting time. The staff seemed friendly

Visited for breakfast October 2nd. £25.50 for two breakfasts with toast and coffee. Bacon was very thin and very much over cooked and could not get the knife through it, eggs all over cooked too, sausage apparently from a local butcher bit left a horrible spicy taste in your mouth, overall very poor for the price and would not eat there again. One positive was that all the staff were very polite and friendly.

I have just visited Palmers at Enderby Cafe which was non atmospheric and food was average at best. I completely appreciate that companies are working to a new norm but there is no excuse for average quality of food!!My tuna sandwich had clearly been sat on the side as the bread has started to go hard with the limpest offering of salad I’ve seen. I was not the only one to be disappointed with the table behind sending their food back and another table complaining too. With a heavily reduced menu the food should be flying out and there should be no compromise on quality especially as the price for a tuna sandwich was in excess of £5 - extremely disappointed as I’ve visited here several times before.

The best thing about the cafe is the cakes, huge variety and huge portions and seem to be locally made. The main meals however are generally poor quality ingredients, and not made with much love. Coffee isn’t great, burnt, and milk isn’t steamed well. Yea is served in the finest pots, lucky to get a cup full. But more care and investment in the food and coffee would go a long way.

Visited with a few friends (and our little ones) for a breakfast experience with Santa and we couldn’t be more pleased. From the start of cold breakfast and coffees leading into the hot buffet, it was really well organised and laid out. You are seated in the newer extended restaurant, which was light and airy with the obligatory Santa’s seat and Christmas decs too. In front of Santa’s seat were loads of floor cushions, in preparation of the ‘main event’ for the kids to all gather on. Prior to finishing our buffet brekkie, it was explained what was going to happen with Santa and he was ACE. He visited every table and every child, before he took to his chair for stories and a couple of songs too. Each child was called up individually who went up for a special Santa cuddle and photo, after which, each child was given a golden ticket for a toy of their choosing from the Elf Workshop. 2 reindeers were located enroute from the restaurant to the workshop and made the whole experience a real treat.

Breakfast was ok but the bacon was hardly cooked and parts of it clearly hadn’t been in contact with the pan/ griddle as it was almost uncooked. Same for the sausage, barely cooked. Hash brown should be crispy not mushy. Once again the temperature of the cafe was too hot as commented by staff and customers alike. What is this trend that pensioners (who regularly frequent this cafe) complain about it being cold when the cafe is for everyone and not everyone wants to suffer no air, anxiety and stuffiness? Keep the temperature DOWN please and ignore the moaning minnies.

A lovely garden centre spent about an hour walking round good range of plants most are looked after very well. Good layout and lots of other things to buy for your home to. They had some good offers on in their sale as well. The cafe however over priced and a bit messy on some of the tables. Looked up above our table lighting very dirty dead flies in on shade and cobwebs on the corner wall and something we could not work out what is was in one of their lights in the false ceiling see pictures

After the closure of Fosse park food court where we used to meet we thought we would have difficulty finding anywhere as convenient. We now have and have been welcomed by their staff especially Anne Louise Todd who constantly moves about the room and is always willing to help us in any way she can. We (Usually four ) only have drinks but at other times will visit with our families.

The menu said "Roasted Meditteranean veg with houmous and chilli jam Panini". Two of these words were true: veg and panini. There was no sign of chilli jam and it was hard to detect any houmous. But the real joke was the veg, which consisted mainly of slightly undercooked carrots, plus a couple of tiny bits of mushroom and red pepper (skin on and not at all roasted). Nothing like roasted med veg should be. On the plus side, the chips were very nice, hence two stars instead of one.

Five of us were celebrating a birthday. We had a table pre-booked which was ready for us when we arrived. We had a dedicated waitress for the whole visit. The food was really well presented on platters and ranged from sandwiches, fruit and cakes. Drinks (tea and coffee) were unlimited. The food was very palatable. The area where we ate was quiet. Cannot comment about the value for money as we were guests and did not pay but I guess this was around £15 per head.

Poor choice unless you want cheese. Almost everything is cheese; unhealthy. Almost everything has onion which I cannot eat. Very overpriced. Not impressed. If you like overpriced unhealthy food this is just the place otherwise I wouldn't bother.

My wife and I had breakfast here on a Saturday morning, and it was absolutely great. We haven't eaten here in such a long time, so hadn't seen what a lovely job they had done remodelling the place. It looks fantastic, with lots of space between the tables, and it also looked immaculate. The choice of food on offer was impressive, and was competitively priced. The breakfast was well presented and tasted really nice. We both agreed that we should eat here more often.

Came here for breakfast and were pleasantly surprised. The food was delicious and being able to pick which items you wanted from the choices was really good. They cater equally well for vegetarians also. The seating and eating area is lovely looking out over the garden centres outdoors areas. All in all really well priced and great value for money.

Having recently moved into the area we decided to try the local Chippy as we had heard it was under new management. What a treat. The fish was delicious, chips were thick and chunky and both were freshly cooked while we waited. Will definitely be back for more! There is no phone number for them at the moment but were told this was in hand. No hesitation in recommending. Friendly staff.

Handbags from a pair of gut Lords detracted from an otherwise altogether acceptable experience

Waited to get a table ( place empty) the Waiter sat there on his mobile and ignorant of who walked in. Tables sticky and chairs stained and dirty. Menu had tomato sauce over it. Bananas black and soggy. No decaf tea or coffee available. Awful place
