Absolutely one of the best meals for a while

Jody looked after us the whole time we was there, amazing member of staff definitely worth a raise!

Food was amazing, the decor is beautiful, wonderful service, special thanks to Jody for looking after us! Definitely come and experience it.

Stopped off at the Wentworth this evening after a day out. We had the dog with us and checked if it was okay to bring her in. The staff were so welcoming and it was so nice that they have an area designated for customers with dogs. Had a lovely meal that was hot and fresh. so nice to be made to feel welcome in pubs these days . We look forward to coming back very soon! Highly recommended

Overall, just a 3. Nice fish and chips, tasty. Table needed a proper clean, not just a wipe over. Friendly and convenient. Used a voucher which made the difference because the drinks prices were high in my opinion.

Stopped off for some dinner as we was heading to Southampton from Leeds! , food was very good and the staff was very welcoming & friendly especially cherise😝

We arrived late Sunday evening so the roast dinners were a little dry, although the meat was good. The cauliflower cheese was perfection personified had we have had it. The pie was delicious as were the puds. Leon's service was excellent.

I've not been to the Wentworth for a few years and thought I'd pop in with my nephew. I found the place very welcoming, warm and well decorated. The staff Jody and Dan were very friendly and came over and had a chat with us. So definitely come back again soon

Food is always super quality and cooked perfectly with fabulous flavours. Staff are very welcoming whoever is serving which is a credit to the whole team. Well worth a visit and good value offers in the day too.

Second visit to wentworth, called in for lunch with my sister and partner, we all ordered the katsu curry, wow it was gorgeous, absolutely well worth the visit today. The staff were amazing, we were served by a lovely young man called Leon what a great asset to have on your team, he was so friendly, attentive, and chatty loved it, thank you Leon for a great lunch. Definitely be back.

Staff were very pleasant but kept us waiting quite a while for our food. When it came I had to send my lasagne back because it was burnt and dry. Then we had to wait for a replacement which was only slightly better than the first one. So all in all not a very good experience.

Went with family for a Christmas lunch on Christmas eve and was really pleased! The food was cooked so well (great roast potatoes!) Great staff and a great friendly atmosphere in the pub. The only downside was that we also went in for drinks twice around the Christmas period, and despite checking Greene King's website which said the pub would be open til later, it closed both times soon after we got there. I'll definitely be back!

Lovely pub off the main drag of Mile End. Fantastic and interesting bartender, Giorgio, who struck up exciting conversation. Would come again

The Wentworth Arms in Elmesthorpe I would recommend anyone to go there. The food is great value for money. Jody,Cherise and leon are fantastic they make the visit so worthwhile and can not do enough to make your visit enjoyable.

Had a Christmas lunch which was really ok (aside from the flat Yorkshire puds). Good value for money and the place has had a bit of a refurb and looked nice.

Shanice was such a a lovely friendly person. We are not from the area and she made us feel very welcome. Thank you to her.

Drinks were fine, waited so so long for the food which was very poor to be fair It was a little busy but not too busy Went in for lunch at 13:00 came out at nearly 15:00 not our choice 😡 won’t bother going back soon sorry.

Great pub and great atmosphere. The staff and assistant manager Shanice are so welcoming and friendly. The food is great and reasonably priced. Family friendly with kids corner and also games for adults. Lots of Christmas activities coming up in December too.

Outstanding service and paid special attention towards my nana who is partially sighted. We have been here many times before and always been given nothing but excellent service by Shanice and the team.

Contrary to other poor reviews, we found the experience fabulous, the food was excellent, exactly what we ordered and tasty, we thoroughly recommend and the new management are to be commended for their commitment and hard work to offer good service.

Lovely atmosphere. Leon and Pete were lovely. Said could not book online but more than amicable. Very hospitable. Quick service. Amazing food. Bagged up left over meat for our dog. Would do anything they could to help. Highly recommend and would definitely visit again.

If you want good food go somewhere else ,Sunday lunch was served cold and was inedible cold veg cold plate and awfull unbeatable meat

We came last night as a party of 38 for a surprise birthday and had Wonderful experience! The food was lovely and came out in extra quick time considering we were a large party. The steak was particularly yummy, and the chocolate fondant was to die for. A huge thanks to Jody and Ollie for their hospitality and to Kyle for cooking our delicious food. We will definitely return!

Nice meal Jody the barmaid was very informative about the menu's pub looks clean and tidy. Will be back in the future.

Popped in today for some lunch, had the bbq wrap with salted skin on fries. It was lovely, and once again Jody's customer service was great. Thank you, definitely will be back again.

Bit quiet, but we were in later on. Friendly welcome and whilst we did not eat the drink choice was good.

We had exceptional customer service, particularly from Leon and Jody. They were so helpful, patient and overall made my sisters birthday meal a great gathering. Highly recommend this place!!!

This is a great pub for either just a drink or a nice meal. The meals are well priced. A weekday meal is two mains for around £14. The staff are always lovely and are great with the four legged friends. A special shout out to Shanice who is always happy to help, super friendly and great with the dog. Overall, this is a great pub for the price.

We visited the Wentworrh Arms to celebrate my niece’s GCSE results and previously booked a table for 10. Before ordering our meals, we were told that several items were missing from the menu including bacon, cheese and onion rings which meant we had to order meals we did not want or exchange items. I was offered vegetables in exchange for onion rings from my surf and turf which I didn’t feel complemented the meal. The meals arrived separately so we as family could not eat together which I did not like. We were not told there would be a delay. The second phase of meals were served 10 minutes after the first. I had initially waited but had to eat as my meal was going cold. I had to find a waitress to ask for condiments and sauces as nobody came over to check on the meal or ask if we needed anything. Unfortunately the items I asked for did not arrive so my steak was mustard free and chips had no sauce. The surf and turf was from their specials menu but was very basic and bland. I cook better at home. Whilst using the men’s toilets, there was a sign saying ‘wet floor’. I assumed this was due to it being cleaned. The middle urinal was actually blocked so when the water drained to clean the basin, the urinal was actually spilling all over the floor. I could not believe what I was seeing. This will be our last visit to The Wentworth Arms which is disappointing to feedback.

My wife and I cam here for the first time in long time and was pleasantly surprised with quality of the food and the service that we received, when asking the waitress she told us that they had a new manager, Our visit was much improved on our last and we will definitely be back

We normally are pleased with the service at the pub, but the last time it was disappointing, waited far to long for our food, it was nearly cold. My wrap was very disappointing, expected better.

No bacon no onion rings no macaroni cheese very slow. Half the table had their meals and a long wait untill the rest came. Just not a good experience wont bother again.

When to the Wentworth Arms for a family birthday meal, we found the staff very pleasant, helpful and welcoming, the food was delicious 😋, plus a quiz night on aswell, thoroughly recommend the Wentworth Arms for visit.

Definitely fine for drinks but do not recommend eating here. The pea and mint risotto arrived tepid and cooled down immediately. The rocket leaves on top of the risotto were wilted and not fresh- obviously past their use by date. The mac and cheese arrived tepid too, with some parts being hot and some cold (obviously microwaved!) and the service was poor. The focaccia wasn't fresh and was rock-solid and stale. Basically all in all the food wasn't great. We waited ages for our food when the pub was empty, that should have been a red flag. No one came to check if our food was okay and we weren't told we had to grab our own cutlery🙄.

Food was poor, chips uncooked, and hard in the middle, steak was tough. Macoroni cheese was abysmall ,stodgy gooey mess. Service shocking. And all tables dirty. Shame used to be such a lovely place.

What a lovely little place,we found this place after walking through burbage common and woods,and are we glad we did,the staff were fantastic(lovely young man and a lady,sadly didn't get their names) we visited on Thursday at 12 o clock.the food was georgeous,decent prices.will definatley be visiting again very soon. 10/10

My friend and I visited the Wentworth last night for a catch up and a meal. Although very close to where I live, it has been a few years since I went there, as my last experience wasn’t the best, after years of being wonderful when Dave & Judy ran it. The welcome we received from Shanice was so warm and friendly that straight away I knew we were going to be well looked after and have a fabulous evening ~ which we did! Shanice is SO lovely - a real ray of sunshine - and she really went out of her way to make sure we were happy and comfortable. We had a super meal too - and the service was great. The Wentworth is definitely back on my list (& very close to the top!)as a ‘go to’ for great food, atmosphere and service! 😄

Updated August 2024.. still amazing! Been visiting here for a while with my family. Staff are always friendly and food is great. Not too expensive and good quality. Battered halloumi and chips is my favourite. The kids meals are really good sized portions for my little one and a really big choice. You can tell recently that there have been some small changes, such as table service now and a few new faces but it's still as lovely as ever! Looking forward to a Christmas Day meal here!

Went today had the Seniors lunch deal , it was amazing, friendly prompt service. Thank you Shanice and Ollie and of course the chef, we will be back.
