We visited on Saturday for lunch , food was really good value for money , really fresh and tasty. Served by Marie who was so helpful , could not do enough for us, accommodating with good service throughout . Thanks

It is a great location to stay and the staff are really friendly. The only downfall is the noise from the pub, but apart from that, it's very good. The food is decent as well.

Came in with my partner after visiting Croft. Two adults, a toddler and babies. Service was amazing, food was really well cooked and presented. Honestly and all round 10/10 visit, will be recommending to friends and family.

Had a lovely lunch, served by Marie, she always chatty and busy, nothing too much trouble . Always nice to see her. Look forward to going again.

Our village local was selected by friends to enjoy a natter over lunch. Served by Simon, we all opted for the two mains offer, each of us chose different mains, mine a tasty lasagne .. the suprise came when paying the bill which was considering the two rounds of drinks ( mine a couple of excellent pints of Abbot) and meals very very reasonable, making a return visit on the cards.

Close to railway station. Had a nice meal there. Nice obliging staff. Will definitely visit again.

Outstanding service. Got served immediately and waited on like gold. Really appreciated the food that was not overpriced and good to nosh down. Something for everyone. Recommend for anyone wanting some atmosphere and a good pub to have some family time and fun

Stayed for one night Sunday evening to Monday as we were working in the area the next day. Staff were really helpful and friendly, the room has been recently refurbished and has everything you need. We opted to have the breakfast, which is the Greene King full breakfast, which was excellent. Parking was free, just remember to enter your registration in the bar. Morrisons across the road next to the train station. Had everything you could want. This is a really well run pub with good range of drinks and food was great.

Revised. For the second sunny weekend on the trot. Only 2 staff on bar. Outside bar but not open. Glasses all over the tables. Madness. Staff rushing around. Punters getting pissed off. Great place to eat and drink. Tia, Marie and Tara really work hard to serve with a smile even when they are short staffed. That’s the only fault. Not enough staff even when City are on the TV, Xmas is approaching and markets are on. These people keep the customers happy.

This is a great little find. It's a lively pub with recently renovated rooms and great service. We were well looked after and had a great and sizable breakfast.

Great local pub with an updated interior that retains it’s local feeling whilst inviting to new visitors. Visited on a very busy Saturday afternoon with my husband, but all staff remained smiling, approachable and friendly. Drinks and food served in great time. Food really tasty and good value for money. Definitely would recommend. Thanks Joe & Team, for adding a lovely finishing touch to our Saturday walk 🙂

We came for the bottomless brunch for a surprise for a friend on Saturday 15th Feb. The staff were amazing. They couldn’t do enough for us, so helpful, accommodating and polite, they made sure we always had a drink. The food was lovely too. Thank you so much for having us, we will be back! X

Went for breakfast today although the pub is very nice can’t say the same for the breakfast.Ordered 2 breakfasts beans cold,sausage was poor quality black pudding rock hard and the fried eggs were so over cooked it was disgusting.Toast was burnt.Also my 2 coffees ordered had been forgotten?? Never ever again!

We came to the Narborough arms to eat the rugby and grab some food Tara,Joe and team served us with excellence. We ordered some cheese garlic bread with pulled pork tacos…chefs made a fantastic mistake we ended. Up with pulled pork tacos and pulled pork cheesy garlic bread! We absolutely loved it it should become a menu item!

Went for Saturday lunch, food was well presented, tasty and piping hot. All veey reasonably priced. Marie greeted us and made sure we were happy with everything. She always goes over and above to make sure the customer gets top quality service.

I find this place very hit and miss as far as food goes. The locals that use the pub can be very loud.

We booked a table for my other half’s birthday meal, the restaurant was a tad cold but isn’t everywhere at the moment?! Service was excellent and Joe our waiter was lovely and super helpful! Thank you for making our first visit so nice! We will be back!

Booked for a work Christmas lunch, circa 30 people and the staff at Narborough Arms could not have been more helpful. We pre-ordered our meals in advance and the guys were great at handling a couple of last minute changes as the day drew nearer. Lovely setting, well decorated for Christmas, food came out quickly and was all so delicious with brilliant portion sizes. All members of staff we encountered were absolutely brilliant, so polite and helpful. 100% would recommend and can't wait to go back!

Me amd my son visited a couple weeks ago on a weekday evening. I had the burger and my son had the chicken burger, food was very good. Service was spot on and the lady Naomi went above and beyond with service. We will be visiting again soon thankyou!

Great location near to Railway Station and within walking distance of facilities in Narborough. Lovely, clean and extremely dog friendly. Good breakfast menu at reasonable prices. Nothing was too much trouble. So nice to be able to take your dog and sit in warmth and comfort. Dog treats, blankets and water all supplied at no extra cost. We will definitely visit again and highly recommend. We did not stay in the hotel.

first time at a greene king and the manager joe went above and beyond for us to make sure we got the menus we needed and served. he has created a comfortable atmosphere for us, we will be coming back!

Banging hot chocolate, the crumby flake paired nicely with the marshmallow and cocoa. Please give the manager -Joe my warmest regards as he went above and beyond during my stay. Would recommend!

Nice to see vegetarian dishes on menu. Didn't have to wait long for food which was well cooked and hot. Choice of dessert and quality good. Attention from Marie, the waitress was friendly and efficient. Will go again.

On Saturday the 16th of November, after some retail therapy we called in the pub for a meal. The staff were delightful and the food was delicious.

We had the Thursday special steak, Sirloin, and it was so tough, we thought it was a special deal but got charged full price...the fries are not homemade. Won't be going back there for a while.

Bar staff nice and friendly. Waiter also friendly and efficient. Food good as expected. Pub a little quiet but it was a Tuesday evening.....Good location to meet up with friends and good value for money. Did not stay in hotel.

Been in a couple of times now to watch the football and get something to eat. The Narborough arms is an excellent pub, Tara and her team are always warm and welcoming. Good selection of beers on tap and the food is to a great standard. Well worth a visit.

Had a great meal at a great price with the burger and pint deal. Good value for money and great pints. Kitchen had food out ASAP despite how busy they were. Jake was rapid on the bar and joe was excellent running around the place taking food and delivered an excellent meal. Would defo recommend this place for dinner and a few pints afterwards. Will be re-visiting. :)

Hayley served us all night. They don’t normally do table service but she was so good and helpful and made an exception for us.

Impromptu dinner tonight - our food was absolutely lovely. We had Katsu curry and my husband said it was really tasty and generous in portion size. I had the Gammon which was piping hot and served with an egg and grilled pineapple which was a bonus not having to choose! The chips were fresh and fluffy and peas were cooked perfectly. Can’t fault it at all. It really was delicious. We were served by the friendly and attentive Carys and Joe, coming to check we were OK and had everything we needed, both really friendly and helpful. Well Done Narborough Arms!

Might have had a makeover but same old miserable service from bar staff. Both the bar maid and supervisor were awful, no smiles, no acknowledgement or conversation. This place never changes

We are regulars at the Narborough Arms as we don't live far away. Since it's revamp, it's so much better. Unlike so many pubs and restaurants it hasn't been spoilt. It's clean, comfortable and has a great atmosphere. The food is as good as it ever was and the prices are still reasonable. We have recently been served by Joe and by Joshua. It has been a pleasure to be served by such helpful, friendly, well-trained staff. We have no complaints.

Had breakfast here with four friends. The food was amazing and all cooked to our individual liking. The true star of the day though was Joe, who served us. He was patient, kind and hard working with an excellent sense of humour. Our order taken by him was spot on. We will definitely be visiting again, and Joe, who is a crediit to the Narborough Arms will. Hopefully serven.us again x

We had a great experience at Narborough Arms from the minute we arrived until the moment we left. On arrival we were warmly greeted by a girl behind the bar who took us to our room. The room was compact but big enough for us to have a comfortable stay. Cleanliness in the bedroom and bathroom were of a very high standard. The room was very warm at night but a fan was provided. There was a very good food menu in the pub with lots of choice, both our meals were fresh and tasty. In the morning we both had a traditional breakfast, again the food was fresh and nice. We interacted with about 5 staff members during our stay and I can truly say there were all very friendly and helpful. I would 100% recommend staying at the Narborough Arms, we are already looking at booking again.

Can't comment on the rooms. Called in today before catching my train. The two ladies working had an extremely nice manor about themselves and interaction that exudes respect and happy in their job. Would definitely stay and eat there if I am ever needing to be in the area again.

Came for an impromptu lunch, we were served promptly and politely at the bar. Our food was served by Marie who was attentive and professional and came back to double check everything was okay. The food was lovely and the beer (Beavertown) nice and cold. I would recommend the Narbourgh Arms for a nice last minute lunch.

Lovely pub. Extremely friendly staff who go above and beyond to provide a positive experience for its customers - I took my daughter and was made to feel extremely welcome by a lovely young lady who served us. Food was outstanding too all freshly cooked and hot. We will definitely be returning thank you.

I come here on a regular basis and this pub is great. The staff always have a smile on their face and look after us, especially Tia and Carys. The food is always above standard and definitely worth the money, with the kitchen staff always accommodating our needs. Would highly recommend to anyone in the area.

Popped in on Saturday night for tea as we had been out all day. What a lovely welcoming atmosphere. We both had the steak which was superb, my knife cut through like butter! The staff in there were super friendly. We were served by Joe behind the bar who couldn't do enough for us. It was lovely to see the staff getting along well and this portrayed a happy team. Very impressive change, keep it up Narborough Arms! We will certainly be back.

Visited this place 18/7 . Been there many times and the food is reasonably portioned and nice . Not today spent around £70 , £53 of this was a round of drinks and food for 2 people what I received was rubbish. I've had the same meal before and it was much bigger and nicer . The Chicken Shawarma flat bread £10.29 and a portion of chips at £3.29 it did state children's portion on the menu and presentation was awful . Asked to speak to the Manager the lady stated she was the manager and the portion provided on main was correct . Weird how 2 weeks previously it was excellent. Was offered a drink as a good will gesture? I just wanted my food right . Won't return again. I took pictures of the food shame unable to attach them.

First time we have eaten here since its refurbishment. The food was lovely, we really enjoyed what we had, and it wasn't expensive either. Perfect for a mid week lunch with family. Will definitely be back :)

The drinks were lovely but the food was a bit of a let down! I had some chips and payed £3.60 and got about 7 chips.. I understand it’s a chain but it was just a little bit disappointing. The tacos were nice but just not enough for your money!

Before it was refurbished. A sharing platter. Was a sharing platter. Now just suitable for one person. Disappointed!!

The staff and food was very good, however a parking fine two weeks later annoyed me greatly. They have a sign with large writing saying customers only, and as the man on the phone abruptly said 14 signs regarding entering your reg. However the writing is very small unlike the customers only sign. Green king have placed small font signs around the car park that many people have missed. Euro car park gladly take £60 or £100 if over 14 days from unknowing CUSTOMERS. Please consider a sign with larger font in future, will never return. It's a shame as the staff and food were nice.

Said we could have late check in via telephone then last minute on the way there from the airport at night they said no one will be in. Had to book another hotel at last minute. The worst part was trying to get my money back for this booking - still nothing. Promised calls from management never happened either. Absolutely awful, I’ve had to claim with my credit card.

Very impressed with the newly refurbished rooms at the Narborough Arms. This is now a lovely traditional pub ambiance in a great convenient location for Leicester or the surrounding areas. But what stands out is how welcoming the team were - really helpful and responsive. I had a good sized room, the bathroom has a very decent bath/shower, and on a breakfast-inclusive deal it offered options beyond and including the standard full-English. All-round a very good experience.

Overnight on 28/5/24, chosen for its location close to where we needed. Refurbished bedroom was a great improvement over how it used to be (previous visit 2 years ago) but quite basic and not inexpensive compared to Premier Inns which offer a comparable standard of bedroom. Staff were helpful and efficient, no extra fee to park, normal pub food offering was of a good standard. Little choice at breakfast if you don't want some variation on a cooked English breakfast.

I took the family out to have a meal here, first time eating here and wouldn't go again, food not cooked properly, and other food well over cooked, the sharing platter carnt even get the chicken strips right, would recommend save your money and go elsewhere

Visited and stayed for the first time this week. Received a friendly welcome on arrival. Enjoyed an evening meal before heading to a very comfortable room for the night. Breakfast was good, and I felt very well looked after throughout my stay. Will recommend a stay here and will I’m sure return again in the future. Thank you to all members of the team .

Called in with family for food & drinks. Quick service. Very nice inside and food was amazing. Really tasty indeed. Last time I was in there was late 70’s when my uncle Steve & aunty Dorothy owned it. Well worth the travel. Will call in again.

The refurbishment is lovely. Unfortunately the prices have gone up to cover the cost of that and portions of food is a bit disappointing!! Time to find new local.

I visited this pub in December 2023. Nice pub, staff are polite, good parking and the food is good. The only reason why I gave this pub 3 stars is the service. I had starter and main to start with, and that came out fine, no complaints. However, I ordered a dessert (sundae), however it didn't show up, I ordered it about 19:15pm, and before we decided to leave (which is about 20:00 when it still didn't show up), me and the woman decided to get a refund as it didn't show up because it took that long. As I returned to the counter to get a refund, very nicely the other woman who served me for my dinner service, refund me not once but twice. The first time she refunded me, she put the money back into my bank account, and the second time she refunded me, she gave me the money in cash. I realised that she was embarrassed of what happened, as I know I was the first person out of 12 people to order my dessert, and to be honest, it shouldn't take that long. To be honest, I do feel sorry for the woman who served me, how embarrassed she was when my pudding didn't show up.

The food; the ambiance and the drinks were great! Completely recommend it!

Fantastic welcome from the duty manager Rachael, booked late so I think I got the noisy room but it’s clean and tidy I’m sure once the pub empties it will be fine. Good atmosphere in the bar, ordered food and drinks served by Sheryl, very attentive but not intrusive. Will definitely come again when in the area.

A very nice pub! The first night it opened I walked in, They have got rid of the John Smith so I had the IPA at £3.09p I walked in tonight and the price has shot up to £4.29 what a leap!! About as much as having a costa coffee.could understand if it had gone up to £3.29 Diabolical liberty.
