Food etc good. The ladies toilets, looked largely clean but there was an overpowering smell of foul smelling, putrid urine around the room. A discordant contrast to very modern hand dryers.

Absolutely revolting toilets. Didn't eat here because the who place reeked of stale urine. Needs a deep steam clean. Grim.

Ok for a break from driving??? But the service station it self is showing its age 🙁🙁 old and tired

Nice place. Sone construction going on in the food area which was a bit off putting. Great breakfasts. Bathrooms were not as clean at other motorway services.

Can be very busy/full for HGV drivers after certain time ! If you are after food on your visit at either Burger King or KFC DO CHECK YOUR ORDER before you leave !!!!!! 😉

Perhaps the services itself are not bad but the food companies within it are shockingly woeful.

South toilets were absolutely spotless when I came today. Clean despite the lots of football fans.

Only bought newspaper and had a break in our vehicle.

I normally stop here if travelling Southbound or Northbound bound, Great Service station. Everything from hot food, drinks, toilets and shop and of course fuel. Lovely clean place.

I often stop here while travelling up and down the M1. Always seems to have just enough parking for cars, always busy due to its location. Has the usual fast food options in the food court which overlooks the motorway. The service station is clean and you are not knocked out with toilet smells in the gents like some others

Nothing special, just a service stop. Seen worse, seen better too. Maybe more of the latter, but...

Dad cant walk far so used it for loos and found another that had food both sides. Can you please make it clear on the service signs coming in whats actually on that side.

We normally avoid welcome breaks as they tend not to be the best places to stop, but this was the complete opposite, clean, tidy, friendly staff. Will certainly stop here again if I need a break

A pleasant clean and good place to stop for a break. Avoid fuel as it's very expensive.

The usual assortment of fast food and conveniences. Kept well cleaned and maintained, lift was working and staff friendly.

Literally nothing wrong with this place, did what it said on the tin. Good range of facilities and toilets clean. Everything you needed. However just nothing wow to make it five stars.

Another well-kept and clean rest area. Toilets were tip-top and fresh and there was a handy drive through for a coffee!

No EV chargers working. Not one. End result…. Batter flat and had to call out recovery before them cut services. How they can’t even have one working is baffling.

It has a lot of facilities and is family friendly. Not impressed with KFC. The tables were dirty, the food isn't good. The fries were new potatoes with skin on and most were soggy,black and mouldy. These fast food outlets charge a fortune for substandard food. At nearly 9 pounds each its disgusting. Not recommended .

Do not shower here unless you like stone cold showers ,worst shower of my life , never again

Adequate place to stretch your kegs, grab some food and use the loo. It was well maintained and clean. A good selection of food and drinks and lots of toilets for those who need to run in and out quickly.

The toilets were a disgrace. I had to clean the least offensive one. I still feel ill thinking about the experience.

Stopped for a car charge and food. We had KFC and a Burger King each. Not a lot to say apart from that. Sitting on top of a motorway. That's new.

Just had takeaway coffee, but looked a good stopping place.

It's a motorway service area very much like any other. It is well situated on the M1 roughly halfway between London and Leeds.Plenty of parking and amenities.

Don’t stop here, drive on. Dirty, overcrowded and if the kitchens are as unclean as the floors I wouldn’t touch the food or drink. Also worth knowing there is not really much space for small children to play, no play area or outside space.

If I could give Leicester Forest Service Station zero stars, I would. What a delightful experience it was to receive a parking fine from the ever-so-generous, parasitical 'Parkingeye' for daring to stay a few minutes over the two-hour limit. I thought I'd treat myself to a nice, relaxing lunch and stayed on for a coffee, but little did I know, this place operates on a tight schedule! I’m so glad they prioritise profit over customer satisfaction. I'll be sure to tell all my friends about this fantastic scam—sorry, I mean service. Needless to say, I won't be gracing this establishment with my presence again. Highly recommended if you enjoy being penalised for eating lunch.

Modern, easy to get around and accessible. Loft available to get to the food court on the bridge. Toilets are easy access but you need an accessibility key for disabled toilets. Toilets were nice and clean. There is a drive through Starbucks as well as the one on the bridge which is easier to access. All other food outlets are on the bridge. There are a couple of shops at ground level but not much

A pity a place with all its eateries on the bridge spanning the motorway CAN’T get a working lift for the disabled and aged and don’t see it as a priority to fix. Many customers just walked away.

Motorway services. In, parked, out. Clean and easy. You go there because you need to. Nobody ever said “ this year let’s not goto Spain. Let’s have a holiday in Leicester services” But. It does what you need, and it does it ok.

It was busy but not over crowded, clean and had a good selection of food.

Welcome Break Leicester Forest East Southbound Services on the M1 is a decent stop for travelers. The facilities are clean, and there is a good range of food and drink options available. However, the prices are quite high, and the service can be slow during peak times. The seating area is comfortable but often crowded. Parking is generally sufficient, though it can be a bit of a walk to the main building. Overall, it’s a convenient and adequate stop, though there's definitely room for improvement in terms of pricing and efficiency.

I passed through a week ago on the 16th and whilst there lost my wallet. I wasn't sure I had lost it there but I sure didn't have it anymore. I sent an email to lost property the following evening and thought nothing of it before receiving an email back in the Thursday telling me it had been found there and asking for my address to send it back too. The wallet arrived today and I'm gobsmacked really because I was willing to send money for postage but here it is. It would be easy for some staff to just stick it in a box and tell the person to come and get it so the extra mile that has been taken to get the wallet back to me is gratefully received. Thank you so much to those involved and two thumbs up.

Just about OK if you need a break when travelling. Stopped Northbound at 11.30pm - Food Court closed. Only food and drinks available were from WH Smith. Toilets were not cleaned and barely adequate. I would suggest driving on if possible and stopping at the next services.

Everything you need. Nothing more nothing less.

No cafés you have to go across the bridge witch is no good for disabled people

Arrived after a long flight from Hong Kong and was very happy to get a proper full English breakfast.! Served by Fudge, Jack and Jo with a smile and efficient pleasant service.! Thanks guys.!
