I came to the pub with my partner and our daughter. Was very disappointed in the fact they didn’t have a children’s menu. But the most disappointing thing was no changing facilities. Not even a changing mat supplied. When I asked about this to the staff, they just said no and didn’t seem to care or want to help. I had to change her in my car in the carpark. Bitterly disappointed and won’t be returning.

Had the sharing seafood platter and what can I say ....... absolutely beautiful. Compliments to the chef. Everything was cooked to perfection. Service was also brilliant and the staff were very friendly. Will definitely be going back. You do need to give 72hrs notice and pay a £20 deposit.

I visited the half moon with a friend on a girls night out. On arrival to the half moon my friend went inside while I finished my cigarette. While waiting a young man was being escorted out of the building to which he then punched the pub window and then a girl. I looked at the doorman and ask if he was going to help her to which was replied 'no it's his girlfriend' I continued to smoke my cigarette to then be approached by another doorman that rubbed both his hands up and down my LV handbag that I was holding!! He then walked away saying 'that's a fake!!' To which I replied 'there is nothing fake about me' he then called me a racist which I found highly offensive and he took a picture of me on his phone?! I am sincerely disgusted in the experience of my 5 minutes outside this 'family' pub. We was finally given plastic cups to carry drinks my friend had gone inside to buy and drank them walking down a road which again I'm not sure is professional or even allowed in the uk law. I have tried to contact the manager of the pub but the contact number on google does not work so hopefully he can see from this review what customers must be experiencing if these ordeals all happened in such a short space of time.

Nunca volverás a comer allí

Out catching up with a friend over dinner. The place was very busy. Staff were very attentive and friendly. The place was presentable in a pub chain kind of way. I was asked aboout allergies and raw onion is one for me. The message didn't get through for the prawn cocktail but it was easy enough to remove it from the plate. It must have been already made up and kept in the fridge. The whole plate was devoid of any taste. It was watery and bland. The two hunks of bread served with it with an individual plastic lurpak plonked on top were fridge cold and hard. For the mains my friend had the roast lamb and I had the spiced lentil pie. I cant help feeling that the whole thing had been prepared off site and microwaved. My pie was a soggy glutenous lump. It majored on the pastry with hardly any filling. It came with some mash, a miniture copper saucepan of peas and huge gravy boat totally out of proportion to the rest of it. It looked big and value for money but when you took the theatre from the plate it was a pile of over processed crap. When a member of staff came over to ask if everything was ok I couldn't say "It was lovely thank you". She offered too replace the meal and I had a curry. It was certainly a step up from the pie which I was grateful for but still I couldnt help feeling this was another over procressed preprepared microwaved meal. The staff were really good at the customer service. The manager came over and apologised. I would rate the three elements for a good customer experience service (4*) setting (4*) and food (1*).
