We went to the soft play, it was my second time in a week because Jessica was so welcoming, friendly, understanding about children and couldn’t do enough to get us comfortable and perfect for the cold days when you need to get out! The Mokka is delicious and we tried the brownie and flapjack, so yummy and homemade. Perfect! It’s lovely and warm, which I often find soft play centres are cold. Signed up for a pass as I know I’ll be back! Thanks

Gorgeous setting and beautifully decorated throughout. We had our 2 pooches with us so we were in the bar area. Food was delicious, sausage rolls are a must, either as a starter or just take one home! Very friendly & attentive staff, couldn’t have asked for more. We’ll definitely be returning.

So we were stopping here after visiting family in the area and we were on the way home. It was a very quiet afternoon. Some might not like that it's quiet but for us it was perfect. It's a bit strange inside as it's half-pub, half Travelodge but despite hesitations we found it t be perfect for what we wanted (i.e. a snack and rest after a long journey). We had the 3 plates deal (I think it was for £14-£15) and it was plentiful for the two of us. I can see why this is rated the no. 1 spot in the area.

Cheap as chips, know what they're doing with the ale, crisps and pint of Black Sheep £4:so how can't other boozers not manage this? Very quaint old worlde inside, highly recommended dogs allowed, and in reach of tourist spots, good mix of people, low lighting so nice for someone like me with visual excitation issues.

Great Christmas sale on at the moment, plenty of bargains to be had. Not too busy, small wait in the cafe but the food was good. Second visit (Oct) just putting all the Christmas stuff out, not too busy for a Tuesday but the cafe started to fill up around 1pm.
