The best restaurants in United Kingdom serving British food

Double bed suit is nice for the money. Nice continental breakfast in your room. If we are back this way we will definitely book the King's Head again. Only down side is we arrived on Tuesday after a 4 hour drive we arrived at 15.00 but couldn't book in until 17.00 One last thing £18.50 for a small frozen fish and chips and £18.50 for a small burger and not so nice fries. Way too expensive for the quality of food served. But that is my only moan. Would book again but would eat at the Gardeners arms down the road. The food was superb.

Popped in after an uninspiring visit to the Crown next door. Ale was great, friendly welcome and lovely beer garden. Will definitely return.

Lovely experience from start to finish ...easy booking ..seated fast ..very good service. .food delivered hot ..staff very attentive and polite .. Had the Sunday dinner which I absolutely enjoyed ..will definitely be returning

Absolutely gem of stop over pub for motorhome and delicious Indian dinner. The chef/ Landlord even came and chatted with all customers, staffs were good and quiet stopover night. The price for foods were good value for money comparing back home in Wales. We will be back. Thank you from both of us from West Wales. 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁷󠁬󠁳󠁿

I was surprised that it wasn't very busy on a Saturday early evening, but the staff was very welcoming

Nice place but do NOT order the sweet and sour sauce it tastes like vinegar mixed with sugar, couldn't finish it do to taste. But the other food was very good

Love this pub even though we are not locals we use it on a regular basis when staying at our holiday park and Mark and the locals always make us feel welcome food drinks and atmosphere is always lovely

A welcoming village pub with a great selection of drinks and a nice garden to enjoy them from.

Small village pub servicing food and good beer. The cons it has a small car park. It's a loverly drive to through country side which ever direction you come from.

Amazing food and lamb will defo come back. Monty is a great chef.

Just excellent - Fullers pubs rarely disappoint and this one excelled. The food, the cuisine, the ambiance - all just delightful . Came for a family meal on a Sunday ..chose the carvery from the menu and was not disappointed, arguably the best quality carvery anywhere I have eaten... Organisation was second to none, service was prompt and staff were extremely helpful, will definitely be visiting again..
