Just visited The White Hart for the first time. The owner Nandhu is so hospitable and the locals were lovely. Great to see Neck Oil on tap. The standout by far was the Hotty Naughty Tikka which was so succulent and incredible flavour! Amazing and will be back!

Simply the best Pub Sunday Roast all of us in our party have enjoyed in years, The White Hart accommodated us and our dogs in the pub area whose attentive staff made us all feel welcomed on with half price for Mothers on Mothering Sunday this is a gem for locals and well worth making a journey for

We held my husbands 40th birthday and the White Hart and it exceeded our expectations in every way. From the flexibility to prepping the space before, to the staff who went above and beyond and the exceptional food prepared by Nandu, we were over the moon. Highly recommended!

What a fantastic roast. Truly one of the best pub roasts I’ve had. Everything was so beautifully flavoured, especially the potatoes. The service was also brilliant. Very much recommend!

Consistently brilliant! Have eaten at the WH a number of times recently and each time we have all had absolutely wonderful food. If you want one of the tastiest curries in the area then you must go.

Out of the way, but clearly a popular venue, and, although not regular, the entertainment- Morris Dancing was a wonderful way to welcome in the New Year.

Fabulous Christmas Day dinner at the White Heart. The food was amazing! All homemade from scratch. The service was very friendly and prompt, our table had everything it needed. I would highly recommend this place for a family at Christmas. The place it self is a gorgeous country pub, and very Christmassy.

A fantastic experience with the most delicious food. We came across the White Hart by chance after a family day at Legoland. The staff were very welcoming and instantly made us feel comfortable; they were attentive throughout. The food was exceptional in particular the chicken tikka masala and plentiful. Reasonably priced too. It was lovely to see the pub busy with locals too who were all very friendly. Thank you for a great experience.

Harry and Nadoo are so friendly, attentive and courteous. The pub is warm, welcoming and comfy. There is plenty of drink options available. The menu is plentiful and honestly, the food is towards the top of the food I’ve ever had. It’s well cooked, plentiful, tasty and hot. English, continental or Indian…. It’s all done, presented and served in a fantastic way. Add the huge car park, idillic location and transport links…. What else do you want?!

Had lunch here today and found the staff and food to be exceptional. Lovely menu with Indian and pub grub, so much choice. Fully recommend!

It was a fantastic experience for our team. Amazing 3 course meal with lip smacking and authentic Indian taste. Extremely friendly staff and top notch service. Landlord Mr. Nandu is a gem of a person and ensured all of us had an awesome time at the restaurant. Outdoor seating area was just perfect for the weather and Ample car parking space was a huge relief. I am coming back again soon. Thank you for your hospitality 👍

The worst Indian ever eaten just had a mixed grill which was mostly cremated and tough left after starter such a disaster did not want to risk the main so decided to pick a Big Mac on the way home unfortunately have to rate 1 as zero not allowed

Nice food but a very odd set up, we were perched on stools next to the bar, with the locals commenting on the food as it came out. Recommend the food to take away...I guess?

Quiet pub, great food, perfect campervan stopover

We had a great evening here looked after by the new management who seem to be doing a great job - very friendly and happy to accommodate a bunch of morris dancers on a fine summer's evening.

Ee went there on Father's day and the food and atmosphere was good. A couple of weeks later, we thought we go there again as we really enjoyed the food. It was completely the op. Food was stale, and there were hardly three people in the place. The food prices were really expensive. Will not go there again!

Brilliant mish-mash of sizzling Indian food, a live band playing American rock ‘n’ roll classics all in a peaceful countryside setting. It shouldn’t work, but it does and I’m here for it!

Indian style BBQ. Loved it! Their Currys are nice too. Would definitely revisit. Parking on site plus a small play area for the kids. Outside and inside sitting arrangement.

We arrived very late, shortly before the kitchen closed, having driven down from Scotland in our campervan. We (and our dog!) were greeted warmly and given a quiet table away from the bar. Drinks and menu were brought promptly. The food was absolutely delicious. We ordered the Chicken Tikka Masala and Lamb Rogan Josh as mains and we can honestly say that they were the best we have ever eaten. The owner checked in with us during the meal and very kindly agreed to let us stay overnight in our campervan. We will definitely return here on our next trip south. Thank you.

A really welcoming and friendly pub, run by the nicest landlord. Lovely garden area to front and a large garden to rear and side (including a kids play area). A good selection of beers, with Neck oil on tap too! Now the food is something else and worth a visit on it's own merit. I have to admit I've only ordered the Indian side of the menu, but the biryani is authentic and tastes fantastic. The landlord was kind enough to let me stay the night in the rear car park (in a small campervan), in return for a meal. As a solo woman I felt really safe, and there was another van on the night I stayed. I overheard the landlord mentioning a 4 van limit, but give the pub a ring if you want to stop. It's most definitely worth it a visit.

A pub with only one tolerable ale is just not good enough.

Had the most lovely meal and welcoming visit. The menu has both English and Indian, we thought we’d try the Indian and it did not disappoint, was really really nice. My 3 year old had the nuggets and never seen him eat so many. Nice welcoming pub and the owners were so nice and friendly. No doubt we will come again on our travels. Pub is motorhome friendly.

Stopped here for good on the way home from Twickenham. Absolutely amazing curry and really good service.

Arrived early morning from the Eurostar Train and had a good sleep in our Motorhome friendly carpark. Took a walk round the corner where there are a few public foot paths. Lunch was great, Cesar salad, onion rings and bacon cheese loaded fries my wife and I shared! Ate every bite and came back for a Biryani at dinner with home made Samosa's. Enjoyed the food very much. Dogs are allowed in all areas of the pub, we will be back!

We had friends get together and we thoroughly enjoyed each and every recipes. It was mouth watering starters and delicious main course. The dessert was cherry at the top. I really appreciate the hospitality and service. Must you visit and explore the menus!

Went with friends as we knew the pub had been taken over. Been here before but first time since the new owners. The girls behind the bar barley had a clue on how to make the drinks. I understand they may have been training- there was 5 of them behind the bar at an empty restaurant! The menu was hard to read (blurry!) but the food was good. (Took 50 mins to come out to us though!) The staff are very judgmental about the food we ordered and where we wanted to sit. Rude. No manners. The owner is nice but needs to make some SERIOUS improvements. The pub has gone very down hill! Wouldn’t come back.

Thought we would try it out. The lady behind the bar had a bit of attitude. Serves us with warm prosecco. The Indian sandwich was excellent but unfortunately the fish finger sandwich was not. Very skinny fish fingers and the salad could have been more inspiring. The lady serving us however was very efficient and helpful.

Great old pub set in a rural village with good food and friendly staff. Had a Sunday Lunch there, then realised I'd lost my wallet. The bar manager helped me be reunited with it, I can't thank him or his staff enough.

Pleased we found a gem we weren't expecting! We ordered a curry combo which was amazing and authentic Indian, fish and chips which was fab, a big portion kids meal and a lovely burger meal. Really well worth the visit, if we hadn't been exhausted from a day at legoland with the children, we would have stayed longer and eaten more.

First visit to the White Hart since it was taken over and we were so impressed. We were a group of 4 there for lunch. The menu - a mix of Indian and more traditional pub food - was impressive and the food was fantastic. Two of us had the chicken tikka wraps off the new lunch menu which were delicious. We all particularly loved the onion bhajis. They’re obviously working hard to bring the pub back to its full potential and it definitely deserves support. Highly recommend and we’ll be back!

Food took 1.5hrs to arrive, no waiter served us or acknowledged us until we asked for one to take our order. Food arrived cold and tasted frozen. Chef was cooking, clearing tables and manging bar whilst servers (who were all brand new) stood and watched confused. Real let down unfortunately.

The Men of St Michaels Church’s Fellowship I in Bray, returned to the White Hart today for lunch, some 3 half years after since we were formed. The meal we enjoyed was incredible, the Indian Dishes were mouthwatering and the fish & chips both prepared by Nandu, were first class. The 9 guys who sat down and enjoyed each others company, enjoyed wonderful service. We all agreed that this is a gem of a pub hidden in our village, well worth a visit.

9 members of our group visited the White Hart for the first time since Covid. Following a change in the management the Pub has changed with a fantastic new menu created by Nandu. You should book a table without delay, you will not be disappointed.

The White Hart was taken over a few months back. What a transformation! Currently on a limited menu,but wow great food well done. The staff were all friendly and the chef made a few appearances which was too see. They are looking to extend the menu to some British food and doing breakfast, lunch and dinner. We will definitely be back... Good food at a good price.

What a find!! Initially, in this pub, wasn’t having so much hope especially for authentic Indian taste. But surprisingly, the food I ordered, had real authentic taste in each of the dish. Which I haven’t felt anywhere else in other Indian restaurant in UK. I want say, thanks to their staffs for warm welcome and food. I will be visiting again soon.

Such a cosy family friendly pub. We visited the week before Christmas and it was a scene from a christmas card, lovely warm cost fire, big decorated tree in the corner and decorations throughout. The finest indian food on offer, they do the best mixed grills. Nandu the owner is so hospitable as are the staff serving behind the bar We will be back for sure.....multiple times

Upon arrival I expected nothing but a regular greene king experience, surprised by the Indian theme menu I did not know what to expect, but with incredibly lovely staff it made a warm welcome, once presented with our food and taste it’s quite easily one of the best fair price restaurants I’ve ever been to, incredible food, followed by consistent and friendly table service..a new owner who knows how to look and impress customers. Deserves all plaudits that come their way.

What a find! Wandered in after a bite to eat & pint. Ended up with lovely real ale accompanied by beautiful authentic Indian food. I’ve eaten at many a well known London Indian restaurant and the delicious tikka and light naan bread here beats them all. Atmosphere in the place was cozy and welcoming with log fire. Coupled with obviously well looked after ale, lovely bar lady and attentive waiting staff a fairly miserable evening on own away with work turned out excellent

You will receive the friendliest and warmest welcome from the new owners. But it's the Indian food they serve that deserves a VERY special mention - Northern India style authentic cuisine - its the best I've had since a 3 month stint living in Dehradun India some 10 years or so ago. Fresh produce, freshly prepared, your taste buds are in for a treat, so far I've enjoyed melt in the mouth chicken tika and succulent lamb shike kebabs. Can't wait for the more extensive menu once they are fully up and running. The beers are well managed and back to their very fresh best.

No food Beer was so bad recently that they were putting ice in it. Place is dirty Gardens in disrepair. Landlord no where to be seen.

When a new Landlord comes in it will improve. This one has managed to scare everyone away. It's a shame as it used to be the best pub in the area when Landlady Michelle had it.

Having been here on many occasions and had excellent food & service, we returned to find new management, absolute rubbish food, fish & chips, fish with dark brown hard batter, 'chips' think McDonalds, certainly not appropriate with fish. Gammon served when ham, egg & chips was ordered, egg came on a tea plate as an afterthought, chilli okay. Needless to say we didn't stay for dessert, moved on elsewhere. Very sad, this used to be an excellent place to eat and always busy. 2 other customers there when we arrived, and nobody else came in. I wonder why? Oh Michelle we miss you.

I don't do reviews often, but I feel genuinely compelled to share my experience after this service. If you haven't been to the White Hart since the change in ownership (very recently) and remember the food they used to do, do not expect even remotely the same quality as previously. Pros: > Inviting environment, good atmosphere > Attentive servers > Drinks arrived quickly Cons: > If I'd ordered the burger from an average local takeaway at 1am, I'd have been fine, but to wait over 40 minutes for something that is on par with a takeaway, it's really not worth the wait or the money > The lasagna was clearly pre-cooked and just microwaved to order, ours came surrounded by a puddle of grease > Servers were clearly over-stressed Now to be clear, the server dealt with the situation incredibly well, and was incredibly apologetic and polite, The bar looked to be very busy and had a solid atmosphere, so definitely somewhere I'd go for a pint. I just feel incredibly let down by the quality of the food and the appallingly long service times considering there was only 1 other table eating at the time

If I could give this pub 6 stars I would. Excellent honest pub food. My husband and I staying here overnight in our camping van as we have come from the north. Cannot in any way fault anything. Lovely staff, good size secure carpark nice and quiet. Great beer, bombshell. I had veg lasagne my husband had beef lasagne and brownie pud. Excellent coffee too. Great value for money.. thank you for a lovely evening staff at white Hart!!!!

Fantastic pub with very friendly staff stopped over night in the car park in the camper van on the way to legoland which is only a 10 minute drive away. Food was very nice and good sized portions looked after the kids too even though the menu was reduced due to covid. Booking was advised before arrival and we has an outdoor igloo which was brilliant including a heater and Rugs on the tables for warmth. All in all a gem of a place would definitely recommend a visit.
