The Duchess of Cambridge Pub in Windsor and Maidenhead

A friendly member of staff made us really welcome sitting us in a lovely window seat so we could people watch on a busy Saturday evening

We were on a family holiday in the Windsor area and were looking for a nice bar with good food and drink. We came across the Duchess of Cambridge and we were not disappointed! The staff were so friendly and welcoming. We were greeted by Jamie, who took the time to give us some advice about the food and drink on offer and chatted with us about our holiday. The food and drinks arrived and they were spot on was, big thanks to Violet who prepared the food. Would highly recommend this location. Try it, you won't be disappointed.

This is our go to pub for lunch. We meet up in Windsor 4/5 times a year and we always have lunch here. Two of us visited here on Friday 17th and as always the service and food were great. We have had lunch in other places but always come back here. It’s bright and clean and very friendly. We will be back very soon.

Visited this place for the first time with the missus since it was a slug and lettuce!!! Will try and keep this brief in points.1. great welcome, acknowledged by 2 staff polite and both friendly.2. Quick and efficient with menu and drinks when ordered.3.flexible with changing tables from inside to outside no quibbles.4. Had the tapas 4 for 20.00 Portion was very generous and the food was delicious.5. Thai chili chicken bites, mushroom with Stilton, garlic prawns and Halloumi highly recommend !6. So impressed with how the staff handled an individual customer who was extremely rude to the waitress, so rude the outside area went very quiet!! We all heard the arrogance and disgusting way he spoke to her. Really upset her but she stood her ground well, took his order and escalated accordingly. 2 other members of staff brought out his food and drink, but the the little sh*t decided he didn’t want it any more and told them he isn’t going to pay and continued being aggressive.Eventually he left and we all spoke about the incident and applauding the way management and the waitresses handled this situation. Thanks Chloe for your hospitality and to your colleague who had to take the order off the aggressive man! Well done girls !!I included point 6 as I want management to know and acknowledge this review regarding the great work your staff do especially in these hard times!!! We will definitely be back soon as we loved the service and the food!!! The outside area is very cosy thanks for putting on the small lights .See you soon!!

If the staffs friendly attitude and interactions with their customers and staff are anything to go by McMullens must treat their staff like gods. All the staff here were brilliant, (friendly, chatty and fun even though they were busy) and the food was just as good.I was served an excellent ale in a tankard - my heart jumped and my soul gave a little cheer (I dislike the usual tulip glasses that so many places use) and it did the same when the food arrived! I had the steak and ale pie, a real pie with golden pastry and a very firm lid (even though it was douced in gravy), excellent chips, and a large portion of seasonal greens which were just the right side of al dente. My partner has the gammon, eggs and chips and he couldn't finish it all.I'll definatley be back again, although next time they might have to roll me out and down to the station!

Excellent lunch with great portions and above all very friendly staff who looked after us so well. Would highly recommend it to all visitors and almost opposite castle entrance so you cannot miss it. Great menu to choose from and also drinks are great.

Superb wee night in this fab pub. Looked after so we’ll by Jaz, Gary and Jamie. Jaz makes great cocktails and all of them go out of their way to make you feel welcome. Can’t wait to go back during our next visit.

We visited a number of years ago and remembered the nice atmosphere and food so returned again today just for a sandwich lunch. Staff were so attentive , friendly and professional. We can’t fault them. Well done everyone. Our order was taken quickly and our food and drinks arrived quickly. Food was very tasty and it was nice to have the option of sweet potato chips. We also thought it was good value. The pub is just opposite the castle so very central and the history is interesting. McMullen owned and the beer we had was McMullen Country ale and was really nice. We will certainly return when we walk to Windsor again.

Didn’t receive a particularly warm welcome by the guy assigning tables when we said we’d like to sit outside or by windows, however waitress service was faultless.Food was fine. It came quickly but peak menu is pretty expensive - £6.50 for the starter of 5 halloumi fries!Wasps in garden were annoying but can’t be helped. Plus it’s a great place to sit and watch planes landing into Heathrow - our son LOVED it!!

Thank you for catering for our family group of 15, our table service by Jasmine was fantastic.The prawn starter and Kale & Beetroot Linguini main was very tasty,.would highly recommend a visit if your in Windsor as located at the side of Windsor castle and very central.

We are regulars, excellent service & friendly staff coupled with the no nonsense food, makes it a very good choice for lunch/ dinner. The pie’s are to die for!!! Definitely recommend!!

Friendly, attentive service, tasty lunch. We couldn't fault this pub so will hopefully return to try something else from their menu.

Nice place, excellent service but food not great. Small plates fairly good. Main courses - pie completely tastless. Classic burger cold and like cardboard, dry and tasteless. Chicken BLT, not inviting, bland and again tasteless. We had our pick of places and unfortunately for us chose here. Pity.

Visited last Sunday - delicious lunch! Generous portion of roast beef but had an issue with the cauliflower cheese, which was mainly cheese! Issue quickly resolved though from our attentive waitress (pink hair, sorry didn’t catch her name)….. not our first visit, and won’t be our last either…

We were on a Thames boating tour recently and decided to stop one evening in Windsor. We came across this pub and stopped for a drink but stayed for dinner. The tapa menu looked excellent so we had to try it. It was very good indeed and the staff were extremely helpful, friendly and efficient. I will visit again if I am in Windsor.

Last night we had a wonderful meal here. Staff were friendly and attentive making sure we’d got everything we needed. Great menu, nothing flash but good proper food. Great selection of cocktails too

We found this place by accident when visiting Windsor but wow what a find - all the staff were absolutely lovely, friendly and nothing was too much trouble - service was amazing and the food was fantastic - we only had a few small plates but they were all fresh, tasty and portion size was huge - would definitely recommend the Thai sweet chilli bites!! Absolute 5 star service and food thank you all so much xx

The linguini with king prawns was superb! Service is fantastic too. Price is reasonable considering it's in the heart of Windsor High Street! The decor is nice and mellow, the ambience is kind of romantic. It was a group of us that dined here but I think this pub/restaurant is cute and romantic for couples and "love-birds" :)

Absolutely first class & friendly. Only went for a couple of drinks & sat in the beer garden at the back but the staff were so friendly & inviting.

I visited this evening with my parents and we all thoroughly enjoyed it. The service we received from the 3 ladies was absolutely second to none!There was a large and loud party in and right away we were given the option of tables (whether we were ok near them or if we wanted a quiet table!) Despite having a large party in and most other tables being filled and there only being 3 serving staff and a manager on, we were really well looked after with each of of the team popping by our table every so often to update us on our order progress or see if we were ok.Our food was absolutely delicious and despite having the expectation set that we may have a delayed wait time as they had the large party in, all came out in really good time and cooked to perfection.I unfortunately can't remember the names of the 3 girls that were on, however them and I presume the manager that served us, were all so welcoming and friendly and an absolute credit to the place.Thanks all for a great meal and lovely evening.Ps, the Maple old fashioned is a perfect nightcap!

While visiting Windsor for a few days we visited the Duchess of Cambridge and experienced not just amazing food but fantastic service. Lauren looked after us and was very professional and friendly.We enjoyed it so much we returned for lunch the next day before heading home.The steak and ale pie was perfect and our son enjoyed trying the tapas style mini meals.Such a lovely place inside and out, directly opposite the castle and highly recommended if you are visiting Windsor. We will be back.

Amazing pub and food, we were on a day trip to Windsor and spotted this lovely pub with a great menu. The staff was friendly and helpful, no need to book and found us a table. The food was fresh, cooked perfect and was so delicious. A great find and beautiful surroundings. Thank you for a great lunch.

Dined at the Duchess of Cambridge last Saturday evening (7 August) and I have to say it was probably the best pub meal I've ever had. Four of us shared the 'tapas style' starters which were excellent followed by the pies for main course - OMG....blimmin gorgeous. Followed by the apple and blackcurrant crumble with custard....heaven. The beers were excellent too.Finally a word about the service; nothing short of excellent. Thanks for making our evening better than expected.

Booked for a birthday meal and they let us leave balloons and cake before. The service from the staff was spot on especially our two servers Lauren and Violet. Seven meals all lovely and to top it off they all sang happy birthday when they brought the cake out. Would recommend for a lovely atmosphere and a genuinely pleasant serves.

We booked a table for my friends mums birthday and from the moment we arrived the service was fantastic. We were looked after by Violet and Lauren who are a credit to the pub. When it was time for the birthday cake to be brought out the duty manager and all the staff got everyone singing Happy Birthday which really made our night. We will definitely be back again and would thoroughly recommend this pub.

A great welcome awaited us.Fantastic range of spritzers (so my wife said) - she chose the rhubarb gin one.Great choice of tasters/grazers.Main meal fine: pie was just like some Northerners crave after- pie, chips all in gravy (though 'up North' gravy sometimes comes as a separate course! I kid you not.). I think the pie could be improved with thinner pastry personally and a gravy jug provided but otherwise all was well.Will be there again no doubt in the coming months.

Lovely pub with great food and service. Was able to sit outside in the rear courtyard garden enough tables to be socially distanced. Food was really good and reasonably priced. I even managed to find room for lotus biscoff cheesecake which was amazing and I highly recommend.

Visited this pub for lunch (8 of us) the staff were very attentive and service was fast. The tapas was plentiful and tasty. Tried to return after event but unfortunately it was closed.

Friendly staff, yes it’s pub food but at the higher end! , excellent meals , superb choice, great surroundings attentive staff and reasonably priced , all in all highly recommend

We stopped in the Dutchess on the off chance they had a table for dinner on Saturday evening, and from the minute we arrived they were amazing! The front of house found us a table even though it was busy, the waitress service was fast and friendly - and the food was fantastic! Fresh and delicious! We stayed there till the end of our evening as the atmosphere was relaxed and just what we wanted.We are local so we will be back without a doubt!

Stopped by for a few drinks and sat at the back in the garden. This is a beautiful pub located opposite Windsor castle. The service was excellent and the staff were very pleasant.

After a long day walking around Windsor castle this place was perfect. Lovely staff who were helpful and friendly!being vegan there is usually one option but i had the delicious beetroot burger and my sister had the vegan linguine which looked and tasted amazing. there were several vegan desserts too and my sister had the cherry pie which she really enjoyed.I was too full! A lovely atmosphere in a great British pub. I would definitely go back :)

Fantastic place, food was delicious and the staff where so helpful. It was a classy little bar in the middle of Windsor.. perfect!

Had Sunday lunch, wasn’t great unfortunately. Beef was really tough and roast potatoes were soggy. Not a massive amount of veg either

Not every day I can claim I was inside the Dutches of Cambridge, but I can today. From the moment my wife and I walked through the door to the time we left it was pure perfection. We live in Scotland and had traveled down for a break, and this was the 2nd pub we had tried. We decided to have a bite to eat and the portions and quality of the food was almost as good as the service from Jamie. Thank you for a warm welcome and personal service.

We just stopped for a lunch time glass of wine. The garden had been very tastefully decorated. Staff were very attentive - we didn’t eat but the menu looked lovely as did the food being served.

Don't know if it's lockdown syndrome...but I doubt it. This pub is an absolute gem, it had a traditional warm feeling . Really friendly service,lovely space. Wonderful staff and a good selection of drinks..Will definitely book next time for some food...regardless will stop here for drinks.

This pub is as attractive inside as it is outside. We were so lucky to get a table and a roast dinner without booking (we will book next time because we would be sad to miss out!). The nut roast was the best I’ve had and my partner said the meat was great. The beer was great too ! Really good friendly service, with a particular mention to the Australian waiter who nailed our customer service!

Although the pub looked very quiet, we popped in for pre-dinner drinks. We quickly realised that most people were sat in the small courtyard at the back which had a great atmosphere. The service was excellent and the ambiance so good that we grabbed a menu. The tapas choices looked great, so we ended up changing plans and staying the evening. Very highly recommended all round

We booked this for a fuelling stop before visiting Windsor Castle. I had 3 small plates, each of which was freshly prepared. My husband had halloumi, avocado, lettuce and tomato (HALT). An unexpectedly delicious start to our Royal day out.

Just excellent. The young ladies looking after our table were so attentive and welcoming. Our 3 boys 5,8 & 11 needed refuelling after a long day in Legoland. They put up with their inevitable disruption so well. The kids menu was fine for those fussy kids who eat a little less and our "Buddha Bowls" were a welcome healthy dish after theme park junk. Town centre car parks are just 2 min walk away.

On bank holiday Monday we visited Windsor races then early evening enjoyed a few drinks followed by a scrumptious dinner. They served us their own pies. So so delicious.If you are ever in Windsor this is definitely a must visit.Well done Duchess of Cambridge PubWe will be back

Central Windsor pub, welcoming staff. Nice menu and reasonable prices for Windsor. We enjoyed window seat with a pint looking at the castle. Staff are friendly and ensure to let you know last orders in case you want one for the road.

Called in just for a quick drink! Absolutely lovely helpful staff especially Ola! We decided to have a light bite which was delicious,. Whilst eating I observed a table being vacated after customers left. The tables were thoroughly wiped clean and all unused cutlery was taken away and replaced. Very good Covid safety measures taken and would highly recommend

I visited the duchess pf Cambridge pub with 5 friends for our holiday, the staff made us feel welcome, very friendly and polite, first time in Windsor, the food was amazing and two of friends had there beers and found them very lovely to drink. I would visit again, thank you guys

Every time we come to Windsor we always come here for drinks/food. Once again they didnt disappoint, very relaxed atmosphere which is what we like, highly recommend coming here, see you again soon

Lovely pub with a good selection of drinks. The food was very good for pub food, the service was also very good. Decor could do with updating, however a great experience all in all.

Cool venue & amazing service! We just had a few drinks plus the hummus & pitta. Everyone was so friendly we felt like locals! Definitely worth a visit.

Después de buscar un pub en Windsor para cenar, nos topamos con este pequeño tesoro. Situado justo enfrente del castillo en la colina, tiene una ubicación ideal. Al no ser de la zona, hay un aparcamiento a la vuelta de la esquina (aunque bastante caro para aparcar). Llegamos temprano y no hubo problema para que nos sentaran temprano. Covid medidas bien organizadas y el personal lo tomó con calma.La comida era fabulosa y llegó muy rápido. Teníamos los goujons de pescado, salchichas y puré y filetes de jamón. Puedo recomendar encarecidamente los filetes de jamón y el plato era demasiado, pero mi marido lo terminó con gusto.Gran ambiente y parece ser del agrado de la gente local, lo que siempre es una buena señal. Estamos en la ciudad visitando Legoland y fue genial visitar Windsor y disfrutar de una excelente comida cocinada después de un largo día. ¡Reserva aquí no te arrepentirás!

Visited the pub yesterday with my family. as we walked in we were kindly welcomed and seated. Staff was friendly and really helpful. Delicious food and covid safe 😇 We hope to come back soon.

Fui allí para un almuerzo de cumpleaños el 24 de septiembre. Esperamos 15 minutos para que nos tomaran nuestro pedido y luego 30 minutos para nuestra comida. Sin disculpas y no estaban ocupados, solo muy desorganizados.Mi bistec no era comestible

No tenía sándwiches en el menú el domingo y no quería un plato principal, solo una comida ligera. Solo los platos eran estilo tapas. Aparte del queso halloumi, las alitas y los hoummos eran bastante desagradables y sin sabor. Las alas estaban rociadas con salsa y muy sucias para comer.

Esta fue nuestra primera cita para almorzar sin niños desde el año pasado.El personal encantador y amable nos hizo sentir bienvenidos. La comida era muy buena y la relación calidad-precio sin duda lo recomendaría. Excelente ubicación frente al castillo de Windsor.

Aparecimos en este pub esta noche al final de un viaje de un día a Windsor. Hemos estado en Windsor varias veces, pero esta fue nuestra primera visita a la duquesa de Cambridge.Había una buena selección de asientos y el personal era amable y atento. No tuvimos que esperar mucho para nuestras bebidas, nuestra comida o la factura al final.Optamos por una combinación de platos pequeños para compartir entre tres de nosotros. Disfruté del Rivertown Pilsner, un buen cambio de las marcas más conocidas. La comida estaba caliente y las raciones eran de buen tamaño.En general, me quedé muy impresionado con el pub y sin duda volveré a visitarlo en el futuro.

La duquesa de Cambridge es un lugar muy relajante para almorzar, especialmente después de un largo recorrido de 3 horas por el castillo de Windsor y la capilla de la calle George. Las bebidas y la comida eran estupendas. El restaurante tenía un gran ambiente. La gente fue muy amable y servicial.

Visité Duchess recientemente para tener una cena rápida con mis compañeros de trabajo, mientras duró el plan de EOHO. ¡Fue una noche muy ocupada! El personal fue tan atento y rápido que no tuvimos que esperar una eternidad para que nos sirvieran, la comida estaba súper sabrosa y su barman hace el mejor Espresso Martini de la ciudad :)

Wandering around Windsor during "Covid times" most places had queues or insisted on pre-booking. Staff accommodated us for a quick drink and served us at the table - thanks Guys:-)

So me and my boyfriend are very conscious of COVID precautions due to my boyfriend having asthma... so when we can into the duchess we were beyond pleased and calm about our entire experience. We were given hand sanitizer and great social distancing from the staff matched with amazing food and drinks. Hands down the best pies in Windsor. I got the chicken pie and my boyfriend got the gammon and eggs and we were very satisfied with the service and quality of food. Props to the duchess for their experience provided for us and our date night! Best night out in months! Xxx

It was quite busy when me and my friend popped in for a quick lunch. And I must say-food was delicious! I had Buttermilk chicken burger and it just melted in the mouth. Accompanied with a nice and crispy glass of Pinot Blush;). Staff was attentive, well presented and keeping distance! Felt safe and well looked after. Thank you Duchess:) I’ll be back.

My husband and I visited this pub on the evening of the 19th August. The Eat out to help out scheme was running but I'm not sure that the standard of the food had anything to do with the offer.I had the Ribs, they were mostly bone and gristle, and were not cooked, overall they were not good, my husband had the Wagu burger, which was not in a brioche bun, as advertised and was dry and quite flavoursless. The bun was so stale that it broke in two.I sent back the Ribs, but he did eat the burger. The staff were very apologetic and we weren't charged for the Ribs. I also tried the chocolate torte but it was akin to an Iceland desert. The staff were good but to say the food was mediocre would be generous. Pity as the location by the castle is great.

Went here for tea as the reviews were good. Food was standard pub grub, beer was ok. There are better places to eat for your money!

Used to be regulars at this pub before lockdown, but on our last visit the quality of some of the meals was awful. I had a good fish and chips but my husbands Hunters chicken was on a small plate - suitable for a child- and was of very poor quality, with hardly any barbeque sauce. Should have sent it back

We visited on 5th August, during our trip to Windsor. Initially struggling to find locations to eat, they welcomed us in much more readily than their (many!) pub counterparts in the area.The food was better than expected - our main complaint would be that they stopped serving their burgers after 17.00 so our first choices were gone and we had to settle for others. But the Gloucester Old Spot Sausages were particularly delicious!Would definitely recommend that dish in particular, and the pub in general for a welcoming, family-friendly environment.

On some good news Me and my best friend decided we should go out and have a cocktail or two and food, walked in and staff were friendly and attentive. You can see they are short staffed and visibly stressed by the large amounts of covers due to the “eat out to help out” I would suggest McMullens unfurlough some staff so the fabulous people that served us don’t become unwell. And stop trying to penny pinch with staff as many places are right now. Ola our waitress was fantastic, smiling, friendly, well humoured and really attentive. The barman Jason perhaps? (Sorry if I wrong) was also great Cocktails were lovely :) Food was great, so compliments to the chef, we tipped well as we thought it was such a lovely experiance. Keep going guys your doing great. The food here is usually very good. We visited recently and it was really poor. Dry burger bun with deep fried looking burger and zero sauce or dressing (apparently worth £15).. A few thin skinny chips on the side which were like microwave chips. It was actually lower quality than the Weatherspoons. Not sure if there is a cut back on quality but it wasn’t good at all. Other customers were complaining to the staff about the food quality and freshness. Something seems to have gone wrong here so hope it can be rectified in the near future. Also the chef walking around downstairs topless seemed a bit weird.

We only had drinks a few times actually whilst in Windsor. It's a great spot half way up the hill. The real ales are excellent. It's a lot better choice and a lot friendlier staff than the Wetherspoons down the road.After social distancing ends I'm sure it will be a go to place for everyone.

My partner and I had planned a day out in Windsor and looked up places to eat. The Duchess of Cambridge pub had lots of great reviews and has recently reopened post-COVID so we booked in for lunch.Upon arrival we had to scan a QR code to add in details for track and trace, as well as there being anti bac at the front of the pub - both of which we were very impressed with.We ordered halloumi chips for a shared starter and we both got burgers for our main. The food was absolutely amazing! The burgers were so good and came in a pretzel bun which was delicious, and a side of chips which have got to be the best chips we’ve ever had. The staff were welcoming and friendly, and it was brilliant service - food came out very quickly.Definitely got to visit this pub when you’re in Windsor!

This place is in a perfect location to Windsor castle yet still has a relaxed vibe. There were comfy chairs, good beer and good food. A great spot if you are in Windsor.

Convenient location as it is at the main road outside the Windsor Castle. Portion of food relatively big. Food was not appealing. Between the fish & chip & the steak being ordered, fried fish fillet was way better. Choices on menu were quite abundant, which was a plus.

Whenever I pop down to this pub no matter how busy it is the staff are always so friendly which is a really important thing. Brilliant atmosphere reasonably priced drinks. Was served by a friendly young lady at the bar and she seemed genuinely happy to help- great service and cute little place with an outside area.

We pre booked 10 of us into the Duchess of Cambridge after a long day touring Windsor and we were not disapointed! The atmosphere, sevice and more importantly the food was excellent and highly recommended.Location is good right on the busy high street overlooking the castle so you are right in the centre of everything.Even though this is effectively a pub the menu and quality is better than most restaurants i have eaten in and is much better than a so called gastro pub.I had a cod dish with crispy kale and veg along with a lovely cheescake.We had a selction of drinks and wine and the house white pinot grigio was very enjoyable. Between us it worked out about £30 per head in total and we thought this was very good value for what we received.All in all a very enjoyable experience and we will return when we are next in Windsor!

I ate here twice in a row when staying on business. Good, solid food in a relaxed, comfortable proper pub but unpretentious atmosphere. Good beer, reasonable prices, great service. Thoroughly recommended.

The pub was busy and it looked unlikely we coudl get a table, the manager swifty embrace our entry and soon we were sloted to a table.The whole experience, service, food and round up was very good, and that replicated each of my visits in th epast two years

Good oldie world atmosphere, clean BBC and good service. Ideally located for a refreshment before or after a trek around the Castle.

I visited with family on an extremely busy day after a castle visit! We had 2 elderly ladies with us,one of whom had a mobility scooter. The staff were just so patient, helpful and friendly and made us very welcome! The surroundings are pleasant and comfortable and we all thoroughly enjoyed our meals! A lovely experience at the end of a tiring day! Thank you!

Suite à un incident assez banal deux verres de clients furent renverser par un client qui a manqué une marche mal éclairé et mal indiqué. Le gérant a fait dire au serveur pour le moins embarrassé que les verres ne seraient pas remplacés. Il faut dire qu’il venait d’être servi...par courtoisie le client!qui a passé près de se retrouver étendu par terre et se blesser a payé Les boissons devant le refus du gérant. Rarement été témoin d’autant de mesquinerie 0 service à la clientèle.

Treat for my birthday after our escape room earlier in the day. Had to wait a little for our table to be readied but once sat down the service and food was very good. Good value for money and good service.

You have got to fit in....... to fit in here. Very pretentious. And drinks are Pricey too. We drank up quickly and found much more welcoming places nearby. It’s like a over priced snobby hungry horse.

Went for dinner on Tuesday evening and it was fantastic to say the least. Staff are vibrant, friendly, attentive and knowledgable on the area. Right across from the castle. Affordable with fantastic selection of traditional dishes from fish and chips to British pies to lamb shank etc...

sat down or a bite to eat and ordered their ‘Butcher’s Board’. Ate the bread and butter and left most of it. The Manager/Waiter noticed it was barely touched when he went to clear my table asked me if I liked it. I honestly said ‘No, but the bread and butter was nice’. Later, I asked for the bill to pay and not only did i pay for the Butchers Board in full (despite my obvious distaste for it), I was also over charged for my 2 orders of Prosecco! Advertised, it was 6.45 but I was charged 8 per glass. I questioned it when paying (not too hard) and paid as quietly and quickly as I can. I would NOT RECOMMEND THIS PLACE. You fooled me once. Never again.

Came here yesterday for a Sunday Roast and it was really good. I had the beef and my friend had the nut roast and we both loved it. Shared a sticky toffee pudding for desert which was also delicious. All washed down with a good bottle of Rioja. Top service too from Dan and co. I would highly recommend if you want good food in a nice atmosphere. Great value too. Thanks guys

No es fácil encontrar un pub donde comer mínimamente bien. En este pub sí se puede. Comimos salchichas, fish and chips y champiñones con stilton cheese. Todo ello regado con unas cuantas pints. El servicio muy bueno. 30 libras por persona.

Was passing through Windsor and stopped in this pub for a quick lunch. Great location opposite the Castle. Very cosy atmosphere inside - fire at the front which is perfect for a chilly November morning. Staff very attentive and friendly. Good Pub Menu - both my friend and I had traditional fish and chips. Good selection of English Ales. So good I am going to return in January with a larger group.

Classic English pub with a cosy vibe. Great traditional British food coming in big portions and a bit more expensive than the usual pubs you would find in London. I had a beef pie with red wine gravy; the gravy made the meat taste even better.

This pub is a large place with several rooms and tables quite separate to be comfortable with family and friends, it has a very good and efficient service with several professionals who are watching you at all times, it is very well decorated and in its windows you have a great panoramic view of the windsor castle, it offers a wide variety of typical English dishes such as hamburgers, seefood pie, very well cooked, the dishes are lush you can have lunch or dinner with just one of them, the desserts are varied and with delicious chocolate dishes

Stopped of for lunch on the way to Heathrow, very friendly place, nice inside with a very acceptable menu. Food was good, service excellent and staff vey friendly.

Sunday Lunch delicious. The beef in pparticular was a treat, with giant Yorkshire pudding and decent veg. Friendly staff. Highly recommend

We learned about the Duchess of Cambridge from TripAdvisor and made a reservation for our day in Windsor. The food was good, as was the service. Our table was in the room near the patio area. After speaking to the staff, we learned that the restaurant can be very busy at lunch and reservations are recommended.
