came in for dinner with a friend and couldn’t fault the service josh was amazing very attentive and nothing was to much trouble, food was very nice and the atmosphere was great. on the other hand stuart was very rude, throwing paper, and just all round had bad attitude that really made me feel very uncomfortable.

Excellent service and the staff was very friendly. They took us in without a reservation. The food was nice and good value.

Actually just left the Harvester, have not been for a while, looks really nice from the outside , the set up inside has been refreshed, was really impressed with the set up upstairs, the starters came out and were delicious, I said to my husband, what a change, I am really impressed. Obviously spoke too soon. Waited 20+ minutes for our main, mine came out cold, my husbands chips were cold, told our server, who was really nice, who informed me my dinner will be cooked from fresh, my husbands chips will be replaced. So ok, not what we wanted, but it is what it is, with my husband just sitting there eating a gammon steak. The food came back out, now with a huge % of people taking their phones everywhere these days, I had taken a photo of my dinner before it went back to the kitchen. I had not noticed, but my husband said, that’s the same dinner. I looked at my before (it went back to the kitchen ) dinner photo, and sure enough, it was ! It had been microwaved! My husbands chips had just been dipped in oil again to cook . Which were rock hard. Our server came back, as I explained , I appreciate this is not your fault, but my dinner has been microwaved, and my husbands chips re cooked. She explained she would be back in a moment, on her return, she said I will take your dinner off from the bill and an extra 20 % off the remaining bill. Whilst this was a good gesture, this did not make up for the fact, left a bitter taste in our mouth for a meal we were looking forward to. Should it be a servers responsibility to say sorry for the kitchen’s inadequate meals?

An airy, well spaced restaurant with a comprehensive, reasonably priced menu. Although the food itself is fairly basic there is an excellent salad bar, which makes it a very worthwhile lunchtime venue.

Pretty standard for what to expect from a harvester. Good service despite it being rather busy. Chicken was very dry but overall good and an enjoyable experience.

Came here for a quick bite to eat on a Tuesday night with a friend and was pleassently surprised with the experience, harvester as we know tends to have good food but it was made so much better by the service we received from letisha! She was courteous, kind and nothing was too much trouble, I had noticed it was extremely busy but nothing got in her way from delivering excellent customer service, can't wait to come back! 10/10

Claire served us and was absolutely lovely, so helpful and kind.

I ordered a sirloin steak and received a rump steak which was over cooked.Chips were cold. The bread rolls were stail and hard. This was a very bad experience.

When the bank holiday Monday got the chicken and ribs combo Dry cold chicken breast My Friend got the steak medium it was well well cooked ridiculous service took back the food waited 15 minutes. Didn’t even bother coming back to us. 🤬

Booked a table for eight taken to a table for six offered a booth smaller the table for six . Taken to table upstairs more suitable. Service was slow Josh did a good job probably short of staff .Starters were ok but main course was not very good corn on the cob was very wet and soggy my chicken was very dry and overcooked and not edible so was my wife’s very disappointing you should be able to roast a chicken it’s what you do . Brought it to waiter’s attention and he offered me a replacement but by this time everyone had finished their meal so took it off the bill . Salad bar very empty and mixed up salads very poor service it is a shame as this is what you do . Would not use this harvester again Old Windsor Harvester much better. Management needs to step up .

I just had lunch woth my family and I reall appreciate the service offered by Laetitia, one of the waiters. She really made sure we had nice time from beginning to end. Definitely worth the trip to this place!

Went for Easter Sunday lunch. 11family members.. the venue was spotless .. salad cart was splendid .. very inviting.. greeted by everyone that knew us as we use the Lad regularly.. was introduced to our waiter who was new .. very polite and a very tidy young person ..he knew what he was doing .. knew the menu as we questioned him on a few things .. yep all in all a good Easter Sunday Lunch .. thank you !!!

Paul was our waiter and he was so amazingly helpful. Being from the US, he offered so many suggestions and tips and was more than happy to answer our questions about Windsor! The food was delicious to boot!

Paul was good, really attentive

On entering, pleasantly surprised how clean the bar area was. Ordered a couple of drinks. Barman was very polite and professional. After a while, went to ask about out reservation, happy to be seated a little earlier and taken to the top floor. Seated at a table that had no cutlery, salt or pepper which is a shame. Had to go and hunt to get our own. Order given, salad bowls issued, off we went to get some salad and that my friends where it all went awful. Salad cart was half empty, salad was mixed with other items. Coleslaw was dry. Took a little as none of it looked fresh at all. Back to the table, food arrived, did not get any better. Fish n chips, fish batter was soggy, not at all crispy, chips were the best thing on the plate. The other dish of pasta consisted of 3 pasta shells filled with a spinach filling and served with a doorstep sized garlic bread, I think it was a doorstep and it was extremely hard! Must have eaten less than 50% of the food. Gave harvester a chance but in the end we wish we hadn’t. Will not be returning. 2 positive things, the barman, and our waiter.

Having visited The Windsor Lad on many occasions, we've always found the service exceptional, and particularly our waiter Paul, who always goes above and beyond to assist us. He is a true credit to the Harvester brand 👏

During my recent visit to Harvester, I had the pleasure of being served by Claire. Their exceptional customer service and attention to detail truly enhanced my dining experience. They were friendly, attentive, and went above and beyond to ensure that my needs were met. Their positive attitude and professionalism made me feel welcome and we shall come back again soon!

Visited the harvester windsor today love this place but today the front desk guy was so unpleasant. When we came in he asked as if we have reservation we said No. And then he said 'Why Not'. Looked at us like we are idiots. He shouldnt be at the front desk if he's got attitude like that.

My elderly parents enjoy going to this particular harvester. I wanted to single out a member of staff who is brilliant with them- Paul. He knows what they drink up front and looks after them so well. Thank you very much .

Lovely Harvester, salad cart well stocked. Service friendly and prompt. Meal served hot and desserts yummy. Have to input vehicle registration upon entering the restaurant to avoid a fine. I would recommend for a reasonably priced family meal.

The young lady who looked after us went above and beyond all expectations. We travelled down from Gloucester to attend a family funeral for my 100 yr old Aunt, and by luck stopped at this restaurant. It was a good choice as the service was fantastic, she was very attentive and made us feel like old friends... highly recommend this place.

We eat here fairly regularly and Paul is usually our server. He is always very attentive and friendly.

We popped in here for the first time today. It was obvious from the outside that the place has recently had a refurb, and the inside looked really good too. Service was friendly and welcoming. Our food however was pretty awful. The crispy mushroom starter looked totally overcooked and my chicken goujons may have well have come from a frozen Birds Eye packet. The haddock was nice but that was about it. The chips were dry, like badly cooked oven chips and the "dirty fries" looked like a joke - some squirty cheese and bacon bits on some, the other two thirds left uncovered. The wrap on the goujons fell apart. The food seemed really cheaply sourced but the prices charged for mains are anything but cheap. Free refills in the fizzy drinks and these were probably the most satisfying thing about our lunch. We decided against a dessert based on the mains and starters. Sad, as until the starters arrived everything looked so promising...

Visited Windsor Lad Harvester for a surprise 50th Birthday Meal for my mum. Pleasantly greeted on arrival and was informed that as we were early the table was yet to be cleaned. Our waiter Stuart was very pleasant throughout our visit and provided great customer service. Food was lovely, but if I was to be pick at anything, steaks came out more done than medium rare. Lovely clean restaurant. Would visit again.

Our teenage boys love a harvester...Good quality food at affordable prices. This harvester has lovely spacious seating with nice upstairs space too.

Not impressed with this private car parking. I received a fine for using the Windsor Lads carpark, although we were having a family meal on a Sunday evening. We did not see any carpark machine or the staff didn't mention anything to do with logging our details & where the machine is ?? I feel completely cheated. If this is how Harvesters Windsor treat their customers, I will find another outlet for my custom. Feb 24

Like most Harvesters moving to this parking registration for your car. There were plenty of reminders, but not so keen on this. Sat down table bit dirty but when pointed out quickly cleaned. I thought the salad bar was very well maintained and kept clean and stocked by a young lad, he was on top of it. Also the food was very nice along with the chap who served us. This was an above well above our average Harvesters we have been to. There are quite a few steps from section to section if you problems walking to be aware of.

Lovely dinner - cooked & presented really well - served by very friendly staff member Claire - in a nice clean place.
