The Windsor Lad Harvester in Windsor and Maidenhead

Had a party of 7 on Christmas day for dinner booked at 2pm, we have gone out every Christmas day for the last few years & to be honest, they have been disasters. We booked for the windsor lad harvester this time as our local Bracknell restaurants were fully booked for the time slots we wanted. This was our last year we were going to do it as past few had put us off. Must say, so glad we booked here, despite the distance away, the restaurant was cosy, atmosphere was great & staff were excellent. There was no rush to get you to leave, in fact at one point, the server asked us if we wanted our deserts yet or did we want to wait ½ hour to let our food go down abit more. All the the meals were amazing, looked great & tasted even better, great value for money. I must say, my steak & ribs combo was cooked to perfection, I'd also say that the steak I had was definitely the best steak I had ever had, the tenderness & flavour was simply amazing, massive well done to the chefs. Definitely would like to mention our server Josh, he was so professional throughout, he couldn't do enough for us, even though he was flat out run off his feet, he managed remarkably & smiled throughout. He is a real credit to your team & definitely should be recognised for his quality. Will definitely go there again, well done & thank you all for giving us a truly great Christmas day.

Very disappointing. Slow service even though wasn't busy. Some meals cold and items missing. I've emailed them about this but don't seem bothered. Think I'll stick to bells of ouzely Update. Gave it another go recently, hasn't improved if anything it has got worse. Mixed grill looked boiled and needed to be shown the grill. Christmas roast turned up cold and without any vegetable. Christmas burger was cold. The salad starter was probably the best bit.

To start it off Excellent food and service. We walked through the doors at the exact time our table was booked for, was waiting to be served for about 10 minutes which was very good surprising how packed it was. After we were seated, it wasn’t long until we were served for our drinks, which didn’t take long to come out. When it came down to our main it took about 10-15 minutes for them to come out which was again very good amount of people in there. I can definitely tell that the staff work very hard, they was rushing around making sure the customer satisfaction met their needs. Only disappointing thing was the portion sizes of the food considering the prices Recommend for families or even friends.

Table of 10 yesterday. Service was really poor. Had to get our own drinks. Food took ages but the restaurant wasn’t busy. Steak was inedible and cold. Just disappointing. Ruined a family get together.

We recently had the pleasure of attending the Breakfast with Santa event at the Windsor Lad Harvester, and it was a truly magical experience! The food was delicious, and the highlight of our visit was meeting Santa Claus. The kids absolutely loved it! We especially want to commend Leticia, our server, for her exceptional service. She was friendly, attentive, and went above and beyond to make our experience memorable. Leticia's warm hospitality added to the festive cheer, and we are incredibly grateful for her dedication. Overall, we highly recommend the Breakfast with Santa event at the Windsor Lad Harvester. It's a fantastic way to celebrate the holiday season with family and create lasting memories.

Beautiful steak, superb service.

Just had an excellent meal at the Harvester, we both chose the sirloin steak. We asked for medium rare and it came up just as we liked it, really juicy, the nicest steaks we have had for a very long time.The service was brilliant, we were served by Claire who was a cheerful friendly lady which helped to make the afternoon most enjoyable

Went for dinner with the family and kiddos! Our server Paul was terrible, wouldn't stop telling off staff in front of customers, was completely inappropriate! Other than that food was great and lots of parking available (free to park, if you want to park and go for a walk)

Had an excellent experience post visiting after legoland. We were early and staff could not be more helpful fitting us in early. We were mainly served by Paul but could see all the staff working so hard for their guests. Great job all and I hope you are acknowledged for your efforts during this busy Sunday. The only negative was i ate far too much - but that was self inflicted 😂

Our server Claire was amazing - friendly, helpful and warm. The decor was impressive and didn’t feel like a generic chain. The only disappointment was the balanced bowl salad, which didn’t match the description at all and was just a basic salad bar mix with very few of the ingredients from the menu. Claire did her best to get the kitchen to improve it, adding the black beans and dressing, but it was still very far from the menu with no rice, kale, onions or slaw. Despite this, we would definitely visit again.

We visited this restaurant for a quick dinner, and the entire experience was incredibly convenient. Our server, Claire, was exceptionally friendly, attentive, and made our dining experience truly exceptional.

Reserved a table (9 of us) after a full day at LEGOLAND. We were seated on time, and our waitress was fantastic, she interacted with the children and was really on the ball. The food was delicious, took a while to come out, but we were told it would be about half hour -40 minutes once we’d ordered. Great atmosphere, and definitely fantastic service. Don’t know the waitresses name, but she has 4 children & is married to a South African guy- she is definitely a huge asset to the restaurant.

Visited the Windsor Harvester today as a walk-in, didn’t have a problem getting a table, the service was fast and the food was good and we were well looked after by Desha! Desha provided excellent Customer service and we both agreed we would be happy to return due to Desha.

Claire was extremely polite, welcoming and showed genuine interest in our day. The food wasn't the best Harvester I've had, but the atmosphere and cleanliness of the place made up for it.

Good food but soo noisy. Sat downstairs close to the bar and it was so loud it was uncomfortable.

Rushed to order. Wrong sauce on food...luckily liked the alternative. Another meal with wrong side with food. After 3 attempts finally got right drink. Yes was a Saturday evening, but slightly disappointing with a pretty steep bill.. otherwise fine..

We stopped in here for some dinner after a long day at Legoland on Haloween. Our server was Josh, who was the only member of staff in Halloween costume Dressed as Homlander from The Boys. He was friendly and helpful and enthusiastic. The food was fantastic. I would definitely recommend

There was 4 of us & we used one of their vouchers for a 2 course lunch. The food was fresh. The mains were a little slow in coming out but was freshly cooked when they did! I had one of their balance bowls & it was huge! We were served by a very lovely young man called Josh. He is an absolute credit to your company. Nothing was too much trouble for him & he was chatty & very polite.

Took my daughter for something to eat as a treat. Although I checked the menu online to make sure there was something my daughter liked, when we received the menu at the restaurant, we were advised it has changed. Unfortunately they didn’t do Chicken nuggets anymore and now do what I can only describe as Chicken twiglets, which when they arrived were really hard, so my daughter didn’t eat many. I ordered the Chicken Tikka flatbread, which although looked nice, parts were cold and others warm. As it was Chicken, I asked if it was meant to be served hot, to my surprise was told lukewarm, if I had known that in the beginning or even if it was mentioned on the menu, I would have ordered something else. Some staff were nice, but one was a bit too over-friendly and wouldn’t leave us alone.

Visited the Windsor lad with my family the other day, and I was served by I think her name is Desha. She was polite and friendly and a great asset to the team.

Came here for a family members birthday friendly staff Paul was great with the kids, great atmosphere was really busy but was still seen to swiftly great food. I tried the new sausage medley which was really good and my husband had the new pork skewer and was highly rated to. Fresh salad bar and banging desserts can’t beat it really recommend.

Whilst an EV charger is on site, if you try and use this outside of the pub opening hours, you will likely receive a £100 fine as you can’t go inside to register your number plate. We tried to use the charger, which wasn’t working, then left to find a working charger and received a fine for the privilege.
