The Windsor Lad Harvester in Windsor and Maidenhead

Had a wonderful dining experience at the Harvester, our waitress Chloe was most accommodating and incredibly helpful 👍 She helped us get a table earlier then our booking, which we were very grateful Really happy with our visit at such a busy time

Good food. Served by our friendly waitress Ali. She was very helpful. The new menu had a wide variety of dishes to choose from. I had the pork belly and chorizo skewers which were very nice.

Booked for Sunday evening whilst staying at Legoland to get wider choice for a picky family of five, figuring standard pub grub would have something for everyone. Very glad we did! Lovely friendly greeting, huge choice on menu and kids menu. Very efficient and friendly service from Ali. Drinks came quickly and food followed not long after. Food was actually some of the nicest "pub grub" we've had in a while. Everything was piping hot, cooked well and really tasty. Portions were really big too, add that to the help yourself salad bar (including fresh bread rolls) and unlimited soft drinks and we all had more than enough to eat and drink. We did manage to squeeze in puddings though and these were equally delicious. We had great service from Ali who was very attentive and quick throughout our meal and found all the staff very friendly and helpful. All in all a really great experience all round. We will definitely visit again next time we're at Legoland!!

It is really nice for a casual breakfast. Fast service. Comfy and quiet atmosphere. I’d definitely come back again.

Turned up without booking a table and was seated quickly. Food was served hot, waitress was kind and was not phased by MiL being abrupt and rude. We have been here many times and has always been friendly and will keep coming back.

Made a booking for here tonight as it’s my birthday I came with my mum and dad and my boyfriend for dinner. We were served by Chloe who is an absolute asset to the company very attentive and definitely shows that she loves what she does for work.

Food was very basic, portion sizes where not as big as other harvesters I have been too. Salad bar was rubbish. Not enough staff.

Popped into Windsor lad for a signature rocky horror. Sad to say, it's disappointing, 1st I got it cold. They gave me a hot one. Yes the ice cream makes it cold but there is never enough sponge at the bottom . I won't waste my money again. It's the second time now 😣

Very odd experience with the server for breakfast today. I have been here many times in evening/afternoons before but not for breakfast. We walked in and looked for somewhere to sit as usual. We didn’t know there was a specific place to sit breakfast. Totally fine. However the server raised her voice at us to say “you can’t just sit wherever you want you know” in a reprimanding tone. We have no problem sitting anywhere but we were not greeted or instructed by her to sit anywhere despite the fact she was just leaning on the bar at that point and had watched us walk in. There were also other customers eating so it felt abit inappropriate to be that confrontational over something so trivial which could have been solved by just A. Greeting us properly or B. Asking us to move wherever. Lol. Not sure what her problem is was but it struck me as quite poor on her behalf. Breakfast was okay - which is why we decided to go because it’s just round the corner, edible and convenient. But the experience was pretty cringe-worthy tbh so to pay for the convenience of basic food AND get given poor service is low key kinda funny tbh. Our mistake I guess. Sorry for the inconvenience!

A really good meal this evening, excellent service (as usual from Paul). Will be back to try the new menu out soon :)

Service was exceptional and Claire was fantastic! The restaurant was very busy with some rowdy customers but again the servers handled them very well. The food was OK but not up to normal standard but probably because they were so busy.

No room at 6pm Saturday till 8pm. Bottom line is you need to book at busy times.

Latisha was so sweet really bubbly and extremely helpful whilst still keep a professional approach. She is an asset to you.

Came here straight after visiting legoland. The service was great and the server Claire was really friendly.

After not being to Harvester for a few years i came for a birthday. We were served by Ryan who was absolutely brilliant. Hes a valuable asset to the company for sure.

Worse harvester I ever been , unfriendly team from 1st second. Rude stuff. First order at the bat war 36£ , second exactly the same was 20 £ , wierd init? Never would recommend that place to any one . Hope you guys close down soon

Naughty but nice!! Impromptu half term breakfast at Harvester Windsor. Very chilled, great service from Helen and Chloe! PS So impressed to see Helen litter picking in the car park first thing. Above and beyond the call of duty.

The only redeeming quality about this place was the lovely bubbly waitress that served her. Didn't get her name but she had a beautiful tattooed sleeve. The food was average at best, and the portion of mushy peas with my lukewarm scampi was less than 2 forkfuls as my photo will show. The brownie in the Rocky Horror sundae was dry and unenjoyable, usually my favourite dessert at a Harvester! Being disabled, having the salad bar up some stairs as well as the drink station was ridiculously poor planning, Quite possibly the worst Harvester I've ever visited, definitely a disappointment.

Harvesters generally ok and fairly consistent no matter which one you go too. The Windsor one ticks all the boxes. If honest, the food in my opinion isn't great however the price is really cheap and I think is good value for the quality of food. Think it's great for something cheap and easy to take the kids as they love it and salad bar is always a winner.

Amazing service, quick and fast, you'll only have to wait around 15 to 20, minutes to get your food, although today we had three people at our table and we all ordered a lot of food, so you can imagine how fast it's going to be when you order by yourself / single order. £14.99 for a 3, coarse lunch and it is amazing. Thank you to our waiter Paul for the amazing service! There is so much more to say about this amazing place!

Just had an amazing mid week birthday dinner! Our waiter was incredibly knowledgeable …. Paul recommended the ribs. Loved them! Really meaty and tender. Also a nice refurb in this restaurant 👌🏻

Came here with my dad on a Wednesday lunch time, was served by a lovely gentleman called Paul, I had a the ribeye steak and it was cooked perfectly!

Visited on Sunday and service, drinks etc all good, salad bar legendary but the food itself was very poor. Toddler meal of pizza and chips contained a pizza, I’d thrown, could have done some damage it was that hard and broccoli that I’d dropped probably would have bounced back onto your plate. Our meal didn’t do much better with salty chicken & tasteless ribs. We’d hoped we’d find a cost effective option for eating out here but I think we’ll give it a miss moving forward, maybe a bad day on the kitchen but one that will stay with us and influence our future decisions. I’d say too much on the menu, simplify it and perfect some pub classics.

Came Here to have a lovely mothers day lunch with family.... whilst parking in the Harvester car park!! Nearly a year later and I am being sent a bailiffs letter for an unpaid parking charge!! There was no signage from what I can see, and the parking fine got sent to a complete unknown address!! Absolutely disgusting that this has happened, come for a lovely meal and no one told us about how we have to pay to park there!! Very unhappy for spending almost £200 and no having this issues. Alot of innocent people are being affected by this miscommunication!!

Claire was our server, she was very friendly and super helpful. Great portion of haddock and chips. All food was well cooked and well presented

It's not easy to make a bad burger, but this is a place that has achieved that difficult task. All the people I went with also left behind. The patty was burnt, crumbly and not very juicy. The ice cream that came out for dessert was the best. The dishes were dirty and stained and not cleaned well, so I wiped them thoroughly with a napkin before using them. It’s a chain restaurant, so skip this place.

All 4 meals served were delicious! Our server was attentive but allowed us enough time to choose. Claire was friendly and genuinely happy! Desserts were lovely too…can’t believe we managed to squeeze them in after such good portions!
