The Windsor Lad Harvester in Windsor and Maidenhead

I visited with my daughter after a long time. We had fresh vegetables and the ribs, which are always delicious. The staff member, Laetitia, who served us was especially kind, making it a pleasant date with my daughter.

Good food, good service unlimited salad bar is a big bonus!

We walked in as a group of 12 for breakfast (not pre-booked) and were seated immediately. Latisha was a great waitress and got all our orders right and was super friendly. Our food and drinks came swiftly and she patiently allowed us to pay the bill person-by-person at the bar.

Paul is amazing sorry to hear he’s leaving will be greatly missed 💙XX

Lovely food, great service. Claire was the best

Lots of parking available, good start! Waitress was welcoming, but not particularly quick. The restaurant was quite noisy and considering parents are in their 80's was surprised to be seated on the ground floor, only to find out the salad bar/condiments etc were on the first. Food ok, wife's chips were burnt and it just felt like the meals were rushed/thrown together. We didn't stay for desserts.

Came for a lovely relaxed lunch, food was excellent and fairly priced and atmosphere was fantastic-largely due to our waitress Claire, what a fantastic friendly lady. Absolutely spot on with her knowledge and timing and conversation. Thank you Claire!

All Harvesters I have been to were a good experience however this one was very unpleasant. We arrived at 8pm on a Sat, ordered a ribs rack and chicken skewer for food. Both were served with a wilted coleslaw, which looked as if it was roasted and tasted very bitter so we could not eat it. Most vegetables in the salad bar tasted old too, the tomatoes tasted like rotten. Waiting time a lot longer than the average Harvester. Gave feedback to the waiter and did absolutely nothing. The toilets were also in a horrible state. Would not recommend this Harvester at all.

Booked for Sunday evening whilst staying at Legoland to get wider choice for a picky family of five, figuring standard pub grub would have something for everyone. Very glad we did! Lovely friendly greeting, huge choice on menu and kids menu. Very efficient and friendly service from Ali. Drinks came quickly and food followed not long after. Food was actually some of the nicest "pub grub" we've had in a while. Everything was piping hot, cooked well and really tasty. Portions were really big too, add that to the help yourself salad bar (including fresh bread rolls) and unlimited soft drinks and we all had more than enough to eat and drink. We did manage to squeeze in puddings though and these were equally delicious. We had great service from Ali who was very attentive and quick throughout our meal and found all the staff very friendly and helpful. All in all a really great experience all round. We will definitely visit again next time we're at Legoland!!

At our dinner at the harvester we were served by Claire who provided excellent service, was very good with the kids and made sure we were happy with our food. Overall the food,service and atmosphere was wonderful. We really enjoyed the whole experience. Thank you Claire for being an excellent hostess.

We had a deeply disappointing experience at this restaurant, primarily due to the manager’s attitude. After arriving on time for our reservation, we were kept waiting for 10 minutes. When we finally approached the manager to inquire about the delay, he rudely informed us that he was about to cancel our booking because we hadn’t called ahead. We politely explained that we had been waiting for 10 minutes, only for him to dismiss our concern with a snarky comment, saying it had only been “2 minutes.” His tone was extremely unprofessional, and his response made us feel completely unwelcome. This kind of rude behavior is completely unacceptable, and it ruined what should have been an enjoyable dining experience. We won’t be returning. Do not recommend it!!!

The hostess Clare was amazing and very attentive, it was our smallest humans birthday and clare got her a candle with her desert to celebrate the occasion, without even being asked i will add! Great job Clare 👏

Lovely evening spent at the Harvester tonight. Lovely food and great atmosphere. The salad bar is amazing, just what you need while you wait for your food. Special THANK YOU goes to Claire and Andy - very kind, funny and friendly, made us feel very much welcome. Would definitely recommend and we will come back! Was placing an order at the bar with a very helpful member of staff who was very kind and actually very helpful, I had a question about the kids eat free which was answered. This for some random reason resulted in another young member of staff getting involved and answering back, giving false information about the offer too. The kind lady apologised and then the other member of staff got involved again, actually becoming very rude and nasty. Couldn’t believe what I experienced today. The member of staff made me feel so in valued as a customer and actually left me in tears! We all left without dining and drinking. Have visited many Harvesters but will never ever return to Windsor Lad again.

Friendly service, family friendly

Had both breakfast and dinner here today, breakfast wasn't great adults meals were lacking but kids loved theirs, staff were friendly. Dinner was brilliant definitely recommended the burgers and puddings 5* service both times.

Claire was absolutely amazing, so friendly and helpful, a really professional, bubbly member of staff. Thank you.

We stopped here yesterday morning for breakfast on our way home after spending a few days in legoland. The breakfast was really good, well cooked and hot. Absolutely knocks spots off the Welsh Harvester restaurants. The lady who served us was lovely, welcoming and friendly. Thanks all!

4 of us came for lunch today served by Paul, very efficient, good conversation. Even stopped to help my mum with downloading the app and sorting it out for her. Great job on the refurb aswell. Looking forward to returning for a pint in the sunshine.

It is really nice for a casual breakfast. Fast service. Comfy and quiet atmosphere. I’d definitely come back again.

Turned up without booking a table and was seated quickly. Food was served hot, waitress was kind and was not phased by MiL being abrupt and rude. We have been here many times and has always been friendly and will keep coming back.

Made a booking for here tonight as it’s my birthday I came with my mum and dad and my boyfriend for dinner. We were served by Chloe who is an absolute asset to the company very attentive and definitely shows that she loves what she does for work.

Popped into Windsor lad for a signature rocky horror. Sad to say, it's disappointing, 1st I got it cold. They gave me a hot one. Yes the ice cream makes it cold but there is never enough sponge at the bottom . I won't waste my money again. It's the second time now 😣

Food was very basic, portion sizes where not as big as other harvesters I have been too. Salad bar was rubbish. Not enough staff.

Very odd experience with the server for breakfast today. I have been here many times in evening/afternoons before but not for breakfast. We walked in and looked for somewhere to sit as usual. We didn’t know there was a specific place to sit breakfast. Totally fine. However the server raised her voice at us to say “you can’t just sit wherever you want you know” in a reprimanding tone. We have no problem sitting anywhere but we were not greeted or instructed by her to sit anywhere despite the fact she was just leaning on the bar at that point and had watched us walk in. There were also other customers eating so it felt abit inappropriate to be that confrontational over something so trivial which could have been solved by just A. Greeting us properly or B. Asking us to move wherever. Lol. Not sure what her problem is was but it struck me as quite poor on her behalf. Breakfast was okay - which is why we decided to go because it’s just round the corner, edible and convenient. But the experience was pretty cringe-worthy tbh so to pay for the convenience of basic food AND get given poor service is low key kinda funny tbh. Our mistake I guess. Sorry for the inconvenience!

A really good meal this evening, excellent service (as usual from Paul). Will be back to try the new menu out soon :)

Service was exceptional and Claire was fantastic! The restaurant was very busy with some rowdy customers but again the servers handled them very well. The food was OK but not up to normal standard but probably because they were so busy.

No room at 6pm Saturday till 8pm. Bottom line is you need to book at busy times.

Came here straight after visiting legoland. The service was great and the server Claire was really friendly.

Service and atmosphere was perfect, food yummy. 2 adults, 2 kids, both kids given really great activity packs. Very clean and relaxing.

After not being to Harvester for a few years i came for a birthday. We were served by Ryan who was absolutely brilliant. Hes a valuable asset to the company for sure.

Worse harvester I ever been , unfriendly team from 1st second. Rude stuff. First order at the bat war 36£ , second exactly the same was 20 £ , wierd init? Never would recommend that place to any one . Hope you guys close down soon
